Best casino apps for Android
Our pick of the best casino apps for Android starts with Coral, followed by Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet. All five are on Google Play in the UK with a PEGI 18 rating, so you never need to sideload an APK. Below, we compare what each Play listing and help centre publishes on data, Google Pay, payouts and support.
Key takeaways
- All five ranked apps are on Google Play in the UK, rated PEGI 18.
- Coral and Ladbrokes list Google Pay, with a £5 minimum deposit for it.
- No Play listing shows a minimum Android version any more; Play checks your device instead.

What makes a good casino app on Android
Android is a wide family of phones, from budget handsets to flagship Samsung and Pixel models, so a good Android casino app has to be easy to find, safe to install and clear about how it handles your money and data. Our ranking draws on the Google Play listings checked on 20 October 2026 and each operator's published help pages.
Here is what we weighed, roughly in order of importance:
- Availability on Google Play in the UK, so there's no need for an APK file.
- Who the developer is, and whether it matches a Gambling Commission licence holder.
- The data safety section: what the app says it collects and shares.
- Google Pay and debit card support, with published minimums, payout times and fees.
- Support channels and safer-gambling tools that the operator lists.
Only our five partners are ranked. Every app here is a free download, and none of the rankings rest on our own play; they reflect published facts. Our full list of UK casino apps ranks the same partners across all devices.
Best casino apps for Android in the UK: our ranked five
1. Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games
Coral's Android app is developed by LC International Limited, the Entain company that holds Gambling Commission account 54743. It is a casino-only app rather than a sportsbook, which keeps the slot and live casino lobby front and centre.
Google Pay is the standout for Android users. Coral's help pages list it for deposits from £5 and for withdrawals from £5, paid back to the card that sits behind your Google Pay wallet. Coral says it doesn't charge withdrawal fees, and Visa Fast Funds payouts typically reach the bank within 4 hours of approval.
One oddity: the Play data safety section reportedly says no data is collected, which doesn't sit easily with the much longer iOS privacy label. Read both before installing. More on the Coral Android app page and in our Coral Casino review.
2. Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games
On Google Play, the developer shows as Ladbrokes Mobile Development, with LC International Limited as the contact entity. Like Coral, it is a dedicated casino app, and the name runs "Slots & Games" on Android but "Games & Slots" on iPhone, so search carefully.
The data safety section is more candid than Coral's: it says the app collects and shares personal info and app activity, encrypted in transit, with a deletion route. Google Pay works the same way as at Coral, from £5. The store description points to more than 1,800 slots, a live casino with game shows and free-to-play games.
Because Entain owns both Coral and Ladbrokes, one person may not be able to open new accounts with each. See the Ladbrokes Android app page and the Ladbrokes Casino review.
3. PlayOJO: Online Casino Games
Skill On Net Ltd develops the PlayOJO app and holds UK licence 39326. PlayOJO has no sportsbook, so the Android app is all casino: slots, jackpot slots, bingo, table games and live casino, plus OJOplus money back on every bet.
Its Play data safety section says no data is shared and none collected. PlayOJO's help page says most payments are processed within a few hours and that you can withdraw as little as you like. Google Pay isn't among the methods named on that help page; the ones it names are debit cards, Payz, Apple Pay and Trustly, so check the cashier for the current list.
Read more on the PlayOJO Android app page or the PlayOJO review.
4. Casumo - Live Casino & Slots
Casumo's Android title leans into casino and live dealer games, even though the iPhone version is badged as a combined casino and sportsbook app. The developer is Casumo Services Limited and the UK licence holder is Recro Limited (account 61549). Casumo's own homepage claims more than 6,000 games.
Its PEGI 18 rating also flags in-game purchases including random items, and the data safety section says it may share location and collects personal and financial info. Casumo says e-wallet payouts such as PayPal and Skrill arrive instantly after approval, but withdrawals below £10 carry a £3 fee. Google Pay isn't listed among its published methods.
Details are on the Casumo Android app page and in our Casumo review.
5. 10bet: Sports Betting & Casino
10bet's Android app comes from Blue Star Planet Ltd (licence 43173) and combines a sportsbook with a casino the Play description sizes at more than 3,000 games. Its iOS description says 2,000+ slots, so treat game counts as rough.
The data safety section says the app shares financial info and may collect location. 10bet's help centre gives withdrawal times of up to 2 business days for cards and e-wallets and up to 3 for bank transfers. It is the only ranked brand to publish a UK phone number with hours: 0808 175 0550, 08:00 to 23:00.
Google Pay isn't published for 10bet, and casino fans have to work around a sports-first layout. See the 10bet Android app page or the 10bet review.
Android casino apps on Google Play, side by side
The Play listing tells you who built the app and what it says about data. This table summarises each one as shown in the UK store.
| App | Play Store name | Developer | Type | Data safety summary |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coral | Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games | LC International Limited | Casino only | Reportedly no data collected or shared |
| Ladbrokes | Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games | Ladbrokes Mobile Development | Casino only | Collects and shares personal info and app activity |
| PlayOJO | PlayOJO: Online Casino Games | Skill On Net Ltd | Casino only | No data shared or collected |
| Casumo | Casumo - Live Casino & Slots | Casumo Services Limited | Casino-led | May share location; collects personal and financial info |
| 10bet | 10bet: Sports Betting & Casino | Blue Star Planet Ltd | Sportsbook and casino | Shares financial info; may collect location |
All five say data is encrypted in transit and that you can ask for it to be deleted. The developer fills in this section, so treat it as the company's own description and compare it with the privacy policy.
Google Pay, deposits and payouts in Android casino apps
For many Android owners, Google Pay is the natural way to pay. Only Coral and Ladbrokes list it in their published help pages, and both pay Google Pay withdrawals back to the underlying card.
| App | Google Pay | Lowest published deposit | Withdrawal speed (published) | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coral | Yes, from £5 | £5 (Google Pay, Pay by Bank) | Approval, then up to 4 hours for Visa Fast Funds | None |
| Ladbrokes | Yes, from £5 | £5 (Google Pay, Pay by Bank) | Approval, then up to 4 hours for Visa Fast Funds | None |
| PlayOJO | Not named on help page | Not published | Most processed within a few hours | Not published |
| Casumo | Not published | £10 (all methods) | E-wallets instant after approval; cards up to 2 days | £3 under £10 |
| 10bet | Not published | Not published | Debit cards and e-wallets: up to 2 business days | Not published |
Google Pay must be backed by a debit card, because credit card gambling is banned in Great Britain. Our Google Pay casino apps list and the step-by-step guide to depositing with Google Pay in a casino app go further.
Minimum Android version: why it isn't listed
None of the five Play listings shows a minimum Android version. Google Play now checks compatibility against the device you're browsing on, so the honest answer is to open the listing on your own phone and see whether it offers to install.
If Play says your device isn't compatible, the operator's mobile website is the fallback, since it uses the same account. Keeping Android itself up to date also helps; the UK's National Cyber Security Centre advises installing app and system updates as soon as they're available (opens in a new tab). Our Android phones guide covers older handsets.
How to install a casino app on Android from Google Play
- Open the Play Store app and search for the exact Play Store name in the table above.
- Check the developer name under the title matches the one listed here.
- Scroll to the data safety section and read what the app collects and shares.
- Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
- Open the app, register or log in, and complete the age and ID checks. UK rules require these before any deposit or play.
- Set a deposit limit when the app prompts you before your first deposit.
Our longer walkthrough, how to install a casino app on Android, covers what to do if the download stalls or the app won't open.
APK files and sideloading: why Google Play is the safer route
An APK is the Android installation file, and some websites still offer casino apps that way. The UK has been a permitted country for licensed gambling apps on Play since at least Google's January 2020 policy update, so every app in our ranking is in the store.
Google Play Protect checks Play Store apps before download and also scans for harmful apps from other sources, as Google explains in its Play Protect help page (opens in a new tab). Since Android 8.0, installing from outside Play needs you to approve a specific app as an install source. There's rarely a good reason to grant that for a UK casino.
Read is it safe to download a casino APK before trusting any download link that isn't Google Play.
How Google Play polices real money casino apps
Google's real-money gambling policy (opens in a new tab) sets the bar. A developer must complete an application process, hold a valid gambling licence for every country the app is offered in, block under-18s and block access from areas the licence doesn't cover.
Gambling apps on Play must also be free to download and can't use Google Play's in-app billing. That means any money you put in goes through the operator's cashier, not your Play balance. The application form also asks for an Adults Only rating, an 18+ notice and a responsible gambling statement.
Store approval doesn't change the maths. UK slots still have no autoplay and a minimum 2.5 seconds per spin, and the house edge applies on Android just as on desktop.
More UK Android casino apps to know about
These brands hold British licences and have Android apps confirmed on Google Play, but they aren't partners, so we don't rank them or carry their offers.
- Virgin Games: "Virgin Games Real Money Casino" by Gamesys Limited, a standalone slots and casino app, PEGI 18.
- Jackpotjoy: "Jackpotjoy Slots & Bingo Games", also by Gamesys Limited, with bingo inside the main app.
- Betway: "Betway Casino Slots & Games", a casino app kept apart from Betway's sports app.
- PartyCasino: "PartyCasino: Slots & Casino" by ElectraWorks Limited, an Entain company.
- BetMGM: "BetMGM Online Casino & Sports" by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, a combined app.
- kwiff: a combined sports and casino app listed in Play's Sports category.
Red flags when picking an Android casino app
A few warning signs should stop you before you install:
- A download link that bypasses Google Play for a brand that is already in the store.
- A developer name you can't match to a licence holder on the Gambling Commission's public register.
- Coins sold through Google Play billing. That's a social casino, not a licensed real-money app.
- Bonus headlines without terms. Under UK rules, wagering can't exceed 10x the bonus, so anything claiming more is a warning sign.
- Claims of systems or patterns that beat the house edge; no staking plan does.
Digital Wellbeing, limits and blocks on Android
Every UK casino app must let you set deposit limits and take a time-out, and PlayOJO, for example, lists Safe Mate, Take A Break and Deposit Limits in its app details. Expected loss is stake multiplied by house edge: at 50p a spin on a slot returning 96%, used here as an illustration, 300 spins cost about £6 an hour on average.
Android adds its own tools. Digital Wellbeing app timers (opens in a new tab) close an app when its daily allowance runs out, and timers reset at midnight. Many banks also offer a gambling block on your debit card. See blocking casino apps with Digital Wellbeing.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best casino app for Android in the UK?
Coral is our top Android casino app because it is a dedicated casino app on Google Play, lists Google Pay from £5 and publishes fast payout times with no withdrawal fees. Ladbrokes runs it close with almost identical payments. Which is right depends on your games and payment method, so compare the Coral vs Ladbrokes breakdown before deciding.
Are casino apps on Google Play safe?
Casino apps on Google Play in the UK are generally safe when the developer is a licensed operator. Google requires a gambling licence for each country, age and location blocks, and a free download with no in-app billing. Play Protect also checks apps before you download them. Always match the developer name against the Gambling Commission register. See are casino apps safe to download.
Do I need an APK to play casino games on Android?
No, you don't need an APK for any of our ranked Android casino apps, because all five are on Google Play in the UK. Sideloading an APK means approving an outside install source and skipping the store's pre-download checks. If a site pushes an APK for a brand that is already on Play, treat it as a warning sign. Read casino APK files explained.
Which Android casino apps accept Google Pay?
Coral and Ladbrokes both list Google Pay in their help pages, with a £5 minimum deposit and a £5 minimum withdrawal paid back to the card behind your wallet. PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet don't publish Google Pay, so check each app's cashier, which shows the current methods. The underlying card must be a debit card. See can I use Google Pay on a casino app.
What Android version do casino apps need?
Google Play no longer shows a minimum Android version on the listing for any of our five ranked apps. Instead, Play checks compatibility against your own phone, so open the listing on the device you plan to use and see whether Install appears. If it doesn't, the operator's mobile website works with the same account. Our casino apps on older phones guide has more.
Why can't I find a casino app on Google Play?
The most common reasons are searching for the wrong exact name, being outside the UK, or a Play account set to another country. Ladbrokes, for instance, uses "Slots & Games" on Android but "Games & Slots" on iPhone. Google only lets gambling apps appear where the developer is licensed. Our guide on why some casino apps aren't on Google Play explains the rest.
Are Android casino apps different from the iPhone versions?
The account, offers and games are usually the same, but names, publishers and listed features can differ. Casumo's iPhone app is badged as casino and sportsbook, while its Android title is casino-focused, and only its iOS listing mentions Face ID. Payments such as Google Pay versus Apple Pay also vary. Read our iPhone vs Android casino apps comparison.
Can I block casino apps on my Android phone?
Yes, you can limit or block casino apps on Android with Digital Wellbeing app timers, which close an app when its daily allowance runs out. For a firmer block, GAMSTOP covers all UK-licensed operators, Gamban is a paid blocking app, and many banks block gambling payments on your card. Start with blocking gambling apps with Gamban or speak to the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
