Casino apps with Face ID login
Casino apps with Face ID login let you open your account with a glance instead of a password, and among our five UK partners only Casumo’s App Store listing states Face ID and Touch ID support. We rank all five on what their iPhone listings confirm, compare their requirements and privacy labels, and show how to check an app before you trust it with your money.
Key takeaways
- Casumo ranks first as the only partner whose App Store listing states Face ID and Touch ID login.
- The Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO and 10bet listings don’t mention biometric login either way, so check the app’s login settings after installing.
- Apple says Face ID data never leaves your iPhone and is never available to apps; the app only learns whether the check passed.
- Face ID covers the device step only. A strong password, and two-step verification where offered, still protect the account.
- Quicker login also means quicker access, so switch it off if you want more of a pause before playing.

Which casino apps have Face ID login?
The clearest public record of what an iPhone app does is its App Store listing. Of our five partner apps, only Casumo’s listing says it supports Face ID and Touch ID login. The Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO and 10bet listings don’t mention biometric login at all.
That silence isn’t proof an app lacks the feature, just that it isn’t advertised. We can’t confirm it either way from what’s published, so treat any claim you read elsewhere with care and look at the app’s own login or security settings. Our Face ID glossary entry explains the term, and biometric login covers fingerprint and face checks more broadly.
Biometric support can be added or removed in any app update. Re-check the listing’s description and the app’s settings after a major update.
How we ranked casino apps with Face ID login
We ranked our five partner apps using only what their store listings and operators publish, in this order:
- Face ID or Touch ID stated in the App Store listing: the one thing that directly answers the search.
- A dedicated casino app: one login protects only your casino account, rather than a combined sports and casino account.
- A recent iOS requirement: an app that needs a newer iOS only runs on phones with more recent system software.
- Our overall editorial score as the tie-breaker, built from published facts.
We haven’t scored login speed or reliability, because we don’t test apps. All our ranked lists are on the best casino apps hub.
The best casino apps with Face ID login, ranked
1. Casumo: the only listing that confirms Face ID
The Casumo app states Face ID and Touch ID login in its App Store listing (opens in a new tab). The same listing describes Quick Launch of your last four slots, Apple Pay with Quick Deposit, a home screen widget and a haptic feedback toggle. Casumo Casino & Sports Betting needs iOS 15.0 or later, is 52.5 MB and combines casino and sportsbook in one app. Its privacy label lists identifiers, usage data and diagnostics as used to track you. More detail is in our Casumo iPhone app page.
2. Coral: dedicated casino app on iOS 18
The Coral Casino app listing doesn’t mention Face ID or Touch ID. It ranks second because Coral Casino: Slots & Games is a dedicated casino app, separate from Coral’s sportsbook, and it needs iOS 18.0 or later. It’s 101.6 MB and published by Entain. The privacy label lists user content and usage data as used to track you. Check its login screen after installing; the Coral login page covers sign-in in detail.
3. Ladbrokes: same requirements, no tracking category
The Ladbrokes Casino app listing also makes no mention of biometric login. Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots matches Coral on the basics: a standalone casino app, iOS 18.0 or later and 101.2 MB. Its privacy label shows no ‘used to track you’ category. It sits third on our overall score, 4.2 against Coral’s 4.3. Coral and Ladbrokes share a licence holder, LC International Limited, so one person may not be able to open new accounts at both.
4. PlayOJO: the lightest app, older iOS supported
The PlayOJO app listing doesn’t mention Face ID or Touch ID. PlayOJO Real Money Casino is the smallest partner app at 25.4 MB and runs on iOS 15.0 or later, so it suits older iPhones. It’s casino only, from Skill On Net Ltd. Its listing also says the app may use your location even when it isn’t open, which can reduce battery life. The PlayOJO login guide explains the sign-in options PlayOJO publishes.
5. 10bet: combined sports and casino app
The 10bet app listing doesn’t mention biometric login either. 10bet: Sports Betting & Casino is listed in the Sports category, combines sportsbook and casino, needs iOS 16.0 or later and is 112.3 MB. Because one login opens both products, the account behind it holds more of your activity. Mac isn’t listed as supported. See 10bet app login for the sign-in steps.

What a casino app learns when you use Face ID
Very little. Apple’s Face ID security page (opens in a new tab) says Face ID data is encrypted, protected by a key only the Secure Enclave can use, doesn’t leave your device and is never available to apps or to Apple. The app is told only whether the check succeeded. Apple puts the chance of a random person getting past it with a single enrolled appearance at less than 1 in 1,000,000.
Your face isn’t on any app’s privacy label for that reason. What the labels do show is the other data each app collects, which matters just as much for an account holding your money.
| App | Used to track you | Linked to you |
|---|---|---|
| Casumo | Identifiers, usage data, diagnostics | Financial info, contact info, user content, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics |
| Coral | User content, usage data | Coarse location, contact info, user content, search history, usage data, financial info, identifiers |
| Ladbrokes | None shown | Financial info, contact info, user content, search history, identifiers, usage data |
| PlayOJO | Identifiers | None listed (device ID collected but not linked to you) |
| 10bet | Usage data | Financial info, contact info |
Our guide to reading a casino app privacy label explains each category.
Face ID is one layer: passwords and two-step verification
Face ID replaces typing your password on a phone you’ve already signed in on. It doesn’t replace the password itself, which still protects the account if someone tries to log in from another device. Think of the protection in layers.
| Layer | What it protects | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Face ID or Touch ID | Opening the app on your phone | Enrol only your own face or fingerprint |
| Device passcode | The fallback when Face ID fails | Use six digits or more and don’t share it |
| Account password | Logging in from any device | Use a long, unique password for each casino |
| Two-step verification | Logins even if the password leaks | Turn it on if the app offers it |
The NCSC says two-step verification (opens in a new tab) makes it harder for criminals to get into your accounts even if they know your password. Whether each partner offers it isn’t in their store listings, so look in the app’s security settings. Our guides to two-factor authentication for casino accounts and choosing a strong casino password go further.
How to check a casino app’s Face ID support before you deposit
You can find out whether biometric login is available, and how it behaves, without putting any money in. Work through this list on your iPhone.
- Read the app’s App Store description and search it for ‘Face ID’ or ‘Touch ID’.
- Scroll down to the privacy label and note what the app links to you.
- Install the app from the App Store only, never from a link in a message.
- Register or log in with your password; the operator must verify your age and identity before you can deposit.
- Watch for an in-app offer to use Face ID. If you accept, iOS asks separately whether to allow it.
- If no offer appears, look for a login or security option in the account settings, or ask support.
- Close and reopen the app to confirm what the face check now opens, and whether payments still ask for a password.
The guide to Face ID and Touch ID on casino apps shows how to switch it off again in iOS settings.
Fingerprint and face login on Android casino apps
None of the five partners’ Google Play listings mentions fingerprint or face login, and Google Play didn’t show a minimum Android version for any of them. So on Android, as with four of the five iPhone apps, the only way to know is to install the app from Google Play and look in its login settings.
Casumo’s Android app has a different name, Casumo - Live Casino & Slots, and its iOS listing’s Face ID wording doesn’t automatically carry over. Our list of the best casino apps for Android compares the Play Store versions in full.
When fast casino app login isn’t a good thing
Face ID removes a step between picking up your phone and playing. Combined with features like Casumo’s Quick Launch and Quick Deposit, that’s a very short path. For some people, a password prompt is a useful moment to ask whether they really want to play now.
- Switch off biometric login for a casino app if you want more of a pause; your password still works.
- Use Screen Time to limit or block gambling apps; see blocking gambling apps on iPhone.
- Set a deposit limit before your first deposit; UK apps must prompt you to set one.
- Register with GAMSTOP to block every UK-licensed gambling app for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years; see our GAMSTOP page.
If someone else’s face or fingerprint is enrolled on your phone, they can pass the same check. Keep biometric enrolment to yourself on any phone with a casino app installed.
Other UK iPhone casino apps worth knowing
We also review non-partner apps. None of the listings below has biometric login confirmed in the information available to us, so check each app’s settings. They’re unranked, and the details come from their UK App Store listings.
| App Store name | Requires | Size | Face ID confirmed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sky Vegas: Casino Games | iOS 15.0 or later | 155.7 MB | Not in published information |
| Paddy Power Games | iOS 15.0 or later | 150.4 MB | Not in published information |
| Virgin Games: Real Money Slots | iOS 16.0 or later | 95.4 MB | Not in published information |
| Betway - Online Casino & Slots | iOS 15.1 or later | 63 MB | Not in published information |
| BetMGM Online Casino & Sports | iOS 16.4 or later | 211.5 MB | Not in published information |
Our reviews of Sky Vegas, Paddy Power Casino, Virgin Games, Betway and BetMGM cover each app’s licence, payments and safer-gambling tools.
What to avoid with Face ID casino apps
- Casino apps from outside the official stores. Apple requires real-money gambling apps on the App Store to be licensed where they’re used and geo-restricted; a download from elsewhere hasn’t passed that review.
- Sharing your passcode. Anyone who knows it can get past a failed face check on your phone.
- Reusing a password from another site, because Face ID does nothing to protect a leaked password used elsewhere.
- Assuming the feature exists because another site said so. Check the listing and the app’s settings yourself.
- Unlicensed casino apps of any kind; they offer no Gambling Commission protection.

Frequently asked questions
Which UK casino apps support Face ID login?
Among our five partners, Casumo is the only app whose App Store listing states Face ID and Touch ID login. The Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO and 10bet listings don’t mention biometric login either way, so the feature may or may not be there; check the login settings after installing. Our answer to whether you can log in to a casino app with Face ID covers this in more depth.
Does the Coral Casino app have Face ID?
We can’t confirm it, because the Coral Casino: Slots & Games listing on the App Store doesn’t mention Face ID or Touch ID. That doesn’t mean the feature is missing, only that Coral doesn’t advertise it. Install the app, log in with your password and look for a biometric option in the login or account settings. The Coral iPhone app page has the full listing details.
Is Face ID safe to use on a gambling app?
Yes, Face ID is a secure way to open an app on your own phone. Apple says the data is encrypted, never leaves the device and is never available to apps, which only learn whether the check passed. The bigger risks are a weak or reused account password and other people knowing your passcode. Our guide to keeping your casino account secure covers those.
Can a casino see my face if I use Face ID?
No. Apple says Face ID data is protected by a key only the Secure Enclave can use and is never available to apps or to Apple. When you log in, iOS checks your face and simply tells the casino app yes or no. That’s why face data doesn’t appear on any partner app’s privacy label. Our privacy label guide explains what the labels do show.
Do Android casino apps have fingerprint login?
Some may, but none of our five partners’ Google Play listings mentions fingerprint or face login, so we can’t confirm it for any of them. Install the app from Google Play, sign in with your password and look in the account or security settings. Avoid installing casino apps from unofficial download links. Our Android casino apps list compares the partner apps on Google Play.
Does Face ID replace my casino password?
No, Face ID only stands in for typing your password on a phone you’re already signed in on. The password still protects the account from logins on any other device, so it needs to be long and unique. Two-step verification, if the app offers it, adds another layer. Our guide to two-factor authentication for casino accounts explains how that works.
Can I deposit using Face ID in a casino app?
Often, yes, if you pay with Apple Pay, because Apple Pay payments are confirmed on the iPhone itself. Coral, Ladbrokes, Casumo and PlayOJO all name Apple Pay as a payment method, and Casumo’s listing also mentions Quick Deposit. Check the cashier for the current list. Our guide to depositing with Apple Pay in a casino app shows the steps.
Should I turn off Face ID if I’m trying to gamble less?
It can help. Removing quick login brings back a password prompt, which some people find a useful moment to stop and think. You can turn it off for one app in your iPhone’s Face ID settings without deleting the app. For stronger barriers, combine it with deposit limits, Screen Time or GAMSTOP. Our page on blocking gambling apps on iPhone explains each option.
