This Coral Casino app review covers the dedicated casino app from Coral, run by LC International Limited for Entain under UK Gambling Commission account 54743. It's a standalone app for slots, tables and live casino that needs iOS 18 on iPhone, pays out with no withdrawal fees and carries a no-wagering spins offer. Its weak spots are no published phone line and a demanding iOS requirement.

Key takeaways

  • Rated 4.3/5: a dedicated casino app, separate from Coral's sportsbook app, licensed through LC International Limited (account 54743).
  • The iPhone app needs iOS 18.0 or later and takes 101.6 MB; on Android it's on Google Play with a PEGI 18 rating.
  • New players who deposit and bet £10 on slots get 100 free spins at 10p each, with no wagering on winnings. 18+, terms apply.
  • Coral says it charges no withdrawal fees; Visa Fast Funds is usually the quickest route once a payout is approved.
  • No phone number is published, so support runs through live chat and email.

Coral Casino app review: the verdict and score

Rated 4.3/5. Coral gives casino players a separate app rather than squeezing slots into a betting app, and that alone puts it ahead of several big-name rivals in our UK casino app reviews. The money side is well documented too: Coral's help pages spell out withdrawal timings by method and state plainly that there are no withdrawal fees.

The score isn't higher for three reasons. The iPhone version needs iOS 18.0 or later, which rules out older handsets that can't update. Coral doesn't publish a phone number for customer support. And the App Store privacy label is one of the longer ones among our partner apps, with two data types listed as used to track you.

This score is an editorial summary built from published facts, such as store listings, Coral's help centre and the Gambling Commission's register. It isn't the result of us using the app. Each factor is weighed against the same criteria we use for every partner app.

Coral Casino app review: iPhone and Android details

Coral's casino app has a slightly different name in each store. On the Apple App Store it's Coral Casino: Slots & Games, sold by Entain with Entain Operations Limited as provider and the copyright held by LC International Limited. On Google Play it's Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games, and the developer is LC International Limited itself.

Both listings carry an adult rating, 18+ on iOS and PEGI 18 on Android. The App Store files it under Casino rather than Sports, which matches what you get: a casino product, not a betting app with a casino tab.

Google Play no longer shows a minimum Android version on its web listing; your phone tells you when you open the listing on the device itself. If the Install button doesn't appear, the app either doesn't support your Android version or your Play account isn't set to the UK.

On Mac, Apple describes the app as "Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS", so it runs on Apple silicon Macs but isn't built specifically for them. In practice you get the iPad version of the app rather than one designed for a desktop screen.

How to download the Coral Casino app safely

The only safe sources are the official stores. Coral's Android app is on Google Play in the UK, so there's no need for an APK file from a website, and Apple only distributes iPhone apps through the App Store. You can find the app on the Coral Casino App Store listing (opens in a new tab) and the Coral Casino Google Play listing (opens in a new tab).

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Check your iOS version in Settings, under General, then About. You need iOS 18.0 or later.
  2. Make sure about 101.6 MB of storage is free, plus room for updates.
  3. Open the App Store and search for Coral Casino: Slots & Games.
  4. Confirm the seller shows Entain before you tap Get.
  5. Open the app, then log in or register and complete the age and identity checks.

On an Android phone

  1. Open Google Play with a UK account and search for Coral Casino.
  2. Check that the developer is LC International Limited and that the listing is the casino app, not the sportsbook.
  3. Tap Install and wait for it to finish.
  4. Open the app and sign in or create an account.

For a fuller walkthrough, see our guides to the Coral iPhone app and the Coral Android app. If the download stalls, our casino app storage space guide covers clearing room.

Coral app privacy label and permissions

Apple's privacy label for the Coral Casino app lists two data types as used to track you: User Content and Usage Data. Tracking, in Apple's terms, means linking your data with data from other companies' apps or websites, often for advertising. iOS lets you refuse this when the app asks.

Data linked to you covers coarse location, contact info, user content, search history, usage data, financial info and identifiers. Diagnostics are collected but not linked to your identity. Much of this is expected for a regulated gambling account, which has to hold your name, address, payment details and transaction history.

Location is listed as coarse and linked to you, for product personalisation. Coral's help pages don't state that the app requires location services, so treat the permission prompt as your choice unless the app later explains why it needs it.

The Google Play data safety section for this app was recorded as saying no data is collected or shared, which sits oddly beside the detailed iOS label. Read both labels yourself before installing; our guide on how to read a privacy label shows what each heading means.

The App Store listing doesn't mention Face ID or Touch ID login, nor does it describe push notifications. If those matter to you, check the app's settings after installing rather than assuming they're there.

Is the Coral Casino app safe and licensed in the UK?

Yes. The app operates under LC International Limited, which holds a remote casino licence on the Gambling Commission public register (opens in a new tab) under account 54743, active since 1 July 2019. The same licensee runs Ladbrokes, Gala and other Entain brands, which is why Coral and Ladbrokes share a regulator account.

A UK licence means Coral must verify your age and identity, offer safer-gambling tools, take part in GAMSTOP and give you a route to independent dispute resolution. It also means the games must meet UK design rules, including no autoplay and a minimum spin time on slots.

Regulatory history

On 17 August 2022, LC International Limited agreed to a £14 million regulatory settlement with the Gambling Commission. It covered anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings between December 2019 and October 2020, and was made up of £13,455,952 in lieu of a financial penalty plus £544,048.03 divested. It formed part of a £17 million total for Entain, with a further £3 million against Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Ltd.

That action applied across the licensee rather than to the app specifically, and licence conditions were added at the time. It's a fair reminder that big operators aren't immune from enforcement. For what licensing does and doesn't protect, see our deeper look at Coral app safety.

Games in the Coral app: slots, tables and live casino

The App Store listing describes slots including MEGAWAYS and classic fruit machines, blackjack and roulette, and a Live Casino section. It also mentions free-to-play games with real-money prizes; these need no stake, but you still have to pass age verification first, as UK rules require for all free-to-play gambling games.

A third-party review puts Coral's library at more than 5,000 games, though Coral hasn't confirmed that figure itself. Exact titles change often, so check the app's game lobby rather than relying on any list, including ours. Our Coral games guide and Coral slots page go into the lobby structure.

What games cost per hour

Every game carries a house edge, so losses are likely over time. Expected loss is simply total staked multiplied by the edge. On single-zero European roulette, standard game maths puts the edge at about 2.7%. At £2 a spin over 100 spins, you'd stake £200 and expect to lose about £5.40 on average, though any single session can land far above or below that.

Expected cost of European roulette at different stakes (2.7% edge, 100 spins)
Stake per spinTotal stakedExpected loss
£0.50£50£1.35
£2£200£5.40
£5£500£13.50

Slots work the same way but with the RTP in place of the edge: a 96% RTP slot has a 4% edge, so £100 of total spins costs £4 on average. RTP can vary between versions of a game, so open the game's help screen to see the figure that applies. Apps don't use a lower RTP by default, as our page on RTP on mobile explains.

Live casino on a phone

Live tables stream video, so they use far more data than slots. Coral's listing confirms a Live Casino area but not which studios or shows it carries. Our Coral live casino guide covers what's listed, and the 17 January 2025 rules mean UK casino games other than slots must allow at least 5 seconds per game cycle.

The listing also names Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins as promotions. Each comes with its own terms, so read them before opting in.

Coral Casino app welcome bonus: 100 spins worked out

New Coral players aged 18+ who deposit and bet £10 or more on slots get 100 free spins on selected games, each worth 10p. The spins must be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days, and there's no wagering on free spin winnings. The offer runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. Terms apply.

Watch the payment exclusions. Deposits by Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify, so a PayPal deposit won't trigger the spins even though PayPal is otherwise accepted.

What the offer is worth in pounds

The face value is simple: 100 spins × 10p = £10 of stakes. What you'd expect back depends on the RTP of the selected game. As an illustration, on a slot with a 96% RTP the spins would return about £9.60 on average, paid without wagering. The qualifying £10 of slot play would cost about 40p on average at the same RTP, leaving an expected value of roughly £9.20.

That's an average, not a forecast. Most sets of 100 spins return less than face value, a few return much more, and some return nothing. Check the actual game's help screen for its RTP before you start.

Coral app payment methods and deposit limits

Coral's help centre lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank through TrueLayer, Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard (account only, not vouchers). Skrill and Neteller aren't listed on the help pages, and credit cards can't be used to gamble in Great Britain.

Coral publishes a £5 minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank; for other methods the minimum is shown in the cashier. The maximum single deposit is £2,000 for UK players, and you can have up to three active payment methods in any rolling 30 days.

Apple Pay is often the neatest option on an iPhone because it uses Face ID or your passcode at the payment step. Our guide on depositing with Apple Pay walks through it, and Coral app payments lists each method in more depth. Before your first deposit, UK rules require Coral to prompt you to set a financial limit.

Coral Casino app withdrawal times and fees

Coral says withdrawals go through internal approval by its review team first. After that, Coral's withdrawal timeframes page (opens in a new tab) says money arrives anywhere from instantly to five banking days depending on the method, and that the timeframe is in addition to internal processing.

Visa Fast Funds is the quickest published route: approval typically takes a couple of hours, and the money then typically reaches your bank within up to 4 hours. Payouts over £2,000 take longer. Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days once approved. Coral doesn't publish timings for other methods.

On cost, Coral's withdrawal fee page (opens in a new tab) states that Coral doesn't charge any withdrawal fees. Coral also runs a closed-loop policy, so winnings usually go back to the method you deposited with.

How to withdraw from the Coral app

  1. Log in and open the cashier, then look for the withdrawal option.
  2. Pick a method; closed-loop rules usually mean the one you deposited with.
  3. Enter the amount, keeping to the minimum for that method.
  4. Confirm the request and wait for Coral's review team to approve it.
  5. Track progress in your transaction history until the money lands.

If a payout sits at pending, our guide on a casino app withdrawal pending covers the usual causes, and the Coral withdrawals page has method-by-method detail.

Coral app sign-up and verification

Under Gambling Commission rules, Coral must verify your age and identity before you can deposit or play, and that includes the free-to-play games. At minimum it checks your name, address and date of birth, usually against databases such as credit reference agencies and the electoral roll.

If those checks can't confirm you, expect a request for documents such as photo ID or a proof of address. The rules also say an operator can't make you send ID as a condition of withdrawing if it could have asked for it earlier, which is a useful protection to know about.

Coral's welcome offer requires a verified account, so finish the checks before you deposit to qualify. Our Coral sign-up guide and Coral verification page cover each stage.

Customer support in the Coral app

Coral publishes an email address, help@coral.co.uk, and a third-party review reports live chat running 24/7. Coral's own help pages that were checked didn't show contact hours, and no phone number is published.

For most account questions live chat is enough. The lack of a phone line matters more if you're dealing with a frozen payout or a verification problem and want to speak to someone. For disputes that support can't resolve, Coral must offer an independent ADR service, and you can tell the Gambling Commission if you think an operator has broken its rules.

Safer gambling tools in the Coral app

The App Store listing confirms safer gambling tools inside the app, and UK rules set a baseline every licensed app must meet. Since 31 October 2025, Coral has had to prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Limit reductions apply straight away, while increases take longer.

The listing doesn't itemise the tools, so look in your account settings for the options below and check which ones Coral offers.

  • Deposit limits: a cap on how much you can deposit over a period you choose.
  • Time-outs: a pause on your account for a short period.
  • Reality checks: reminders of how long you've been playing.
  • Self-exclusion: close your account for a set period, or use GAMSTOP to block every UK-licensed site and app at once for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years.
  • Slot stake limits: £5 per spin if you're 25 or over and £2 if you're 18–24.

If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open 24/7, run by GamCare (opens in a new tab). Our page on Coral's safer gambling tools explains each option, including how deposit limits work.

Coral app vs website and the Coral sports app

Coral runs separate apps for casino and sports betting, so the casino app doesn't carry the sportsbook. If you only play slots and tables, that's a plus: you don't download a betting app to reach the casino.

The website suits anyone whose phone can't run iOS 18, since a browser doesn't need the app's minimum version. The app's advantages are a home-screen icon and getting straight to your account without typing a web address.

Game rules don't change between app and browser: the same UK design rules apply, there's no autoplay on slots, and RTP depends on the game version, not the device. Our Coral app vs website page goes deeper, and the Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison sets the two Entain apps side by side.

Pros, cons and who the Coral app suits

Advantages

  • Dedicated casino app, separate from the sportsbook
  • UK licence through LC International Limited (account 54743)
  • No withdrawal fees, with clear published timings
  • Visa Fast Funds payouts typically within hours of approval
  • Welcome spins carry no wagering on winnings
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank all listed

Drawbacks

  • iPhone app needs iOS 18.0 or later
  • No published phone support
  • PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and prepaid deposits don't qualify for the welcome offer
  • iOS privacy label lists data used for tracking
  • Skrill and Neteller not listed for payments
  • A 2022 regulatory settlement against the licensee

It suits slots players with a recent iPhone or an Android phone who want a no-wagering start, plus anyone who values quick debit card payouts. It suits less well players on older iPhones, people who prefer to resolve problems by phone, and e-wallet users chasing the welcome offer.

For other options, our best casino apps list ranks all five partner apps, and the standalone casino apps list focuses on apps without a sportsbook attached.

Where to play: Coral and two alternatives

This page reviews Coral, so its slots welcome offer comes first. New players aged 18+ who deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10+ on slots get 100 free spins on selected games at 10p each, to be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days, with no wagering on free spin winnings. Terms apply, and the offer runs until 1 February 2027.

Ladbrokes is run by the same company, LC International Limited, so one person may not be able to open new accounts at both. Its offer for new customers aged 18+ is up to 500 free spins: deposit and spend £10+ on slots to get 50 spins a day for 10 days at 10p each, claimed before 23:59 each day and valid for 7 days, with no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don't qualify.

PlayOJO gives new UK customers aged 18+ (excluding Northern Ireland) 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each with a first deposit of at least £10, and winnings are paid in cash with no wagering. It can't be combined with other offers. Terms apply to all three, and every offer costs money to qualify for, so only deposit what you're comfortable losing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Coral Casino app safe and legit?

Yes, the Coral Casino app is run by LC International Limited, which holds a UK Gambling Commission remote casino licence under account 54743. That means age and identity checks, mandatory safer-gambling tools, GAMSTOP participation and access to independent dispute resolution. The licensee did agree a £14 million settlement in 2022 over failings from 2019 and 2020, so licensing isn't a promise of perfection, but it does give you real protections. Download it only from the App Store or Google Play. Our Coral safety page covers this in more detail.

Which iPhones can run the Coral Casino app?

Any iPhone that runs iOS 18.0 or later can install the Coral Casino app. Apple's listing gives that as the minimum, and the download is 101.6 MB. If your iPhone can't update to iOS 18, you can't install the app, but you can still use Coral through Safari or another browser. The same version requirement applies to iPads, which need iPadOS 18.0 or later. Our guide to which iOS version casino apps need compares requirements across the main apps.

How long do Coral app withdrawals take?

Coral withdrawals take from a few hours to a few days, depending on the method. Every request goes through Coral's review team first. With Visa Fast Funds, approval typically takes a couple of hours and the money then typically reaches your bank within up to 4 hours, though payouts over £2,000 are slower. Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days once approved. Coral's general guidance is instantly to five banking days, on top of internal processing. See Coral withdrawals for each method.

Does Coral charge fees to withdraw?

No, Coral states on its help pages that it doesn't charge any withdrawal fees. That applies to the app as well as the website, because they use the same account and cashier. Your own bank or payment provider could, in rare cases, apply its own charges, so it's worth checking their terms if you use an unusual account. Minimums still apply on some methods, such as £5 for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay. Our page on casino app withdrawal fees compares policies across apps.

Does the Coral welcome offer have wagering requirements?

No, there's no wagering on winnings from Coral's 100 welcome spins. New players aged 18+ deposit and bet £10 or more on slots to receive the spins, which are worth 10p each on selected games. You have 48 hours to accept them and 7 days to use them. Some deposit types are excluded, including PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe and prepaid cards. Terms apply. For how no-wagering offers compare with standard bonuses, see what no wagering means.

Can I use PayPal on the Coral Casino app?

Yes, PayPal is listed for both deposits and withdrawals on Coral, but a PayPal deposit won't qualify for the welcome spins. To withdraw to PayPal, you need to have deposited with PayPal in the previous 6 months, in line with Coral's closed-loop policy. If you want the welcome offer, use an eligible debit card or another method that isn't excluded, then switch later if you like. Our PayPal casino apps guide explains how e-wallet exclusions work across UK apps.

Can I have both Coral and Ladbrokes casino accounts?

You may not be able to open new accounts at both, because Coral and Ladbrokes are run by the same company, LC International Limited, part of Entain. Operators in the same group often treat their brands as linked for new-customer offers, so claiming two welcome offers may not be possible. Check each brand's terms before you register. Our Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison sets out how the two apps differ on offers, games and payments.

Is the Coral Casino app the same as the Coral sports app?

No, Coral Casino: Slots & Games is a separate, dedicated casino app. The App Store lists it in the Casino category, and it doesn't include the sportsbook. That keeps the download focused on slots, table games and live casino. If you bet on sport as well, you'd need Coral's separate sports app or the website. For apps that combine both in one download, see our list of sports and casino apps, which explains the pros and cons of each approach.

Does the Coral app have phone support?

No, Coral doesn't publish a phone number for customer support. A third-party review reports that live chat runs 24/7, and Coral lists an email address, help@coral.co.uk. Coral's own help pages that were checked didn't give contact hours, so confirm availability in the app. If you can't settle a complaint with Coral directly, you can escalate it to an independent ADR provider. Our Coral customer support page explains each channel and when to use it.

Can I play the Coral Casino app on a Mac or iPad?

Yes, the App Store listing shows the Coral app as compatible with iPad and with Macs that have an Apple M1 chip or later. On iPad it needs iPadOS 18.0 or later. On Mac it needs macOS 15.0 or later, and Apple labels it "Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS", so the layout may not suit a desktop perfectly. It's also listed for Apple Vision with visionOS 2.0 or later. Our iPad casino apps guide covers tablet play.
