Best casino apps for Samsung phones

The best casino apps for Samsung phones in the UK are Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet, in that order. Every Galaxy runs Android, so all five come from Google Play with a PEGI 18 rating. This guide ranks them on what matters on a Samsung handset: the Play listing, Google Pay, payout speed and the tools for staying in control.

Key takeaways

  • Samsung Galaxy phones run Android, so install casino apps from Google Play, not from APK files or links.
  • Coral ranks first: a standalone casino app, Google Pay deposits from £5 and no withdrawal fees on its help pages.
  • None of the five partners publishes a Galaxy Store version or names Samsung Wallet as a payment method.
  • Google Play no longer shows a minimum Android version on the web listing; your phone tells you if it's compatible.
  • Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, and use Digital Wellbeing on the phone if you want a hard stop.

What makes the best casino app for a Samsung phone

A Samsung Galaxy is an Android phone with Samsung's own interface on top, so the right casino app for it is simply a well-built Android app from a UK-licensed operator. There is no special Samsung edition of any partner app. That makes the Google Play listing the starting point for every judgement on this page, alongside the operator's help pages and its Gambling Commission licence.

We ranked the five partner apps on criteria that a Galaxy owner can check before installing. Each one is drawn from published information only: the Play listing, the operator's help centre and the Gambling Commission's register (opens in a new tab). Nothing here comes from timing or playing the apps ourselves. For the wider picture across every Android brand, our Android casino app rankings go further, and the full hub of best casino apps covers every category.

Best casino apps for Samsung phones in the UK, ranked

Here is the ranked list, from the app that best meets the criteria above to the one with the most gaps. Editorial scores are summaries built from published facts, not test results.

1. Coral Casino: the most complete Android payments setup

The Coral Casino app appears on Google Play as Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games, with LC International Limited as the developer and a PEGI 18 rating. It is a dedicated casino app, separate from Coral's sportsbook app. Coral's help pages name Google Pay for both deposits and withdrawals, with a £5 minimum for Google Pay, and say Coral charges no withdrawal fees. The Play listing mentions slots including Megaways and classic fruit machines, blackjack, roulette, live casino and free-to-play games with real-money prizes. Rated 4.3/5. Our Coral Android app guide covers the install in detail.

2. Ladbrokes Casino: the same engine with a different reward scheme

The Ladbrokes Casino app is listed as Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games, with Ladbrokes Mobile Development as the developer and LC International Limited as the contact entity. Like Coral, it is standalone and accepts Google Pay. Its listing describes 1,800+ slots, live casino including game shows and free-to-play games such as Instant Spins and a daily prize wheel. Its Play data safety section says it shares personal info and app activity, which is worth reading before you install. Rated 4.2/5. Because Coral and Ladbrokes share a licence holder, one person may not be able to open new accounts at both.

3. PlayOJO: a casino-only brand with fewer moving parts

The PlayOJO app is listed as PlayOJO: Online Casino Games, published by Skill On Net Ltd. PlayOJO has no sportsbook, so the app is casino only. Its data safety section states no data shared and no data collected. PlayOJO's help page says most payments are processed within a few hours and that you can withdraw as little as you want. Google Pay is not among the methods named on that help page (it lists debit cards, Payz, Apple Pay and Trustly), so check the cashier. Rated 4.2/5.

4. Casumo: casino-focused on Android, quick e-wallet payouts

On Google Play, the Casumo app is titled Casumo - Live Casino & Slots, from Casumo Services Limited. The PEGI 18 rating also flags in-game purchases including random items, and the data safety section says the app may share location. Casumo's site says PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter and Apple Pay withdrawals arrive instantly after approval, with cards taking up to 2 days. Google Pay isn't published as a Casumo method. Support runs by email and in-app from 7:00 to 23:00 UK time. Rated 4.2/5.

5. 10bet: a sportsbook app with a casino inside

The 10bet app is one combined app, 10bet: Sports Betting & Casino, from Blue Star Planet Ltd. If you only want casino games, the sports content comes along with it. 10bet's help centre gives withdrawal times of up to 2 business days for debit cards and e-wallets, and up to 3 for bank transfer. It is the only partner with a published UK phone line, 0808 175 0550, open 08:00 to 23:00. Google Pay is not published. Rated 3.8/5.

Samsung Galaxy casino apps on Google Play, side by side

The table below sets out what each Google Play listing showed when checked on 20 October 2026. App names differ slightly between the iPhone and Android versions, so search for the Android name shown here.

One entry deserves a second look. Coral's data safety section read as no data shared or collected, yet its iPhone privacy label lists location, contact info, financial info and more. The two stores use different disclosure formats, but the gap is large, so read the current listing yourself. Our explainer on the data safety section shows what each heading means.

All five apps encrypt data in transit and let you request deletion of your data, according to their Play listings.

Galaxy Store, Samsung Wallet and other Samsung extras

Samsung phones come with a second app shop, the Galaxy Store, and Samsung's own payment wallet. Neither helps much with casino apps, and it's better to know that up front.

  • Galaxy Store: we couldn't confirm a Galaxy Store version of any of the five partner apps. Use Google Play, where each operator's own listing is published.
  • Samsung Wallet: none of the partners names Samsung Wallet among the payment methods on its help pages. Coral and Ladbrokes name Google Pay, which you can add to a Galaxy alongside Samsung's wallet.
  • Samsung-specific features: no partner listing mentions Samsung features such as S Pen support or Galaxy widgets. If you want to know about a feature, check the app's settings or ask support.
  • Fingerprint or face login: the Android listings don't mention biometric login for any partner. Casumo's iPhone listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID, but that says nothing about the Android version.

For a broader look at Galaxy models, folding screens and settings, see our guide to casino apps on Samsung Galaxy, and our page on foldable phones if you use a Z Fold or Z Flip.

Will these casino apps run on my Samsung phone?

Google Play no longer shows a minimum Android version on its web listing for any of the five apps. It shows compatibility on the device instead. So the simplest test is to open the listing on your Galaxy: if the Install button appears, the app supports your phone, and if Play says your device isn't compatible, it doesn't.

Older Galaxy models that have stopped receiving Android updates may eventually drop out of support as apps raise their requirements. For iPhones the minimum is published (from iOS 15.0 for PlayOJO and Casumo up to iOS 18.0 for Coral and Ladbrokes), and our iPhone versus Android comparison sets the two side by side. If your phone is several years old, our guide to casino apps on older phones explains the options, including the mobile site.

How to install a casino app on a Samsung Galaxy

The install follows the normal Google Play process. These steps apply to any of the five partners.

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Galaxy (not the Galaxy Store).
  2. Search for the exact listing name from the table above, such as PlayOJO: Online Casino Games.
  3. Check the developer name under the title matches the company shown in our table.
  4. Check the rating shows PEGI 18, then read the data safety section.
  5. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
  6. Open the app and log in, or register with your real name, address and date of birth so the operator can verify your age and identity before you deposit.
  7. Set a deposit limit when the app prompts you, before your first deposit.

Our step-by-step guide to installing a casino app on Android covers storage, permissions and common install errors. If an app doesn't appear in search, read why a casino app may not be on Google Play.

Google Pay, deposits and payouts on a Samsung phone

Paying from a Galaxy works the same way as on any Android phone. The main question is which wallet and which withdrawal method the operator supports. Credit cards can't be used for gambling in Great Britain, including through a wallet loaded with a credit card, so add a debit card to Google Pay if you plan to use it.

Coral's Google Pay help page (opens in a new tab) notes that Google Pay withdrawals are paid back to the underlying card. Our Google Pay casino apps list and the Google Pay payments guide go into limits and timings. If speed matters most, see the fast withdrawal casino apps ranking.

Keeping a casino app safe on a Galaxy: Play Protect and APKs

Google lets licensed real-money gambling apps onto Play in the UK only after an application process, and Google's gambling app policy (opens in a new tab) requires a valid licence, age checks and blocking of users outside the licensed area. That screening is the main reason to install from Play rather than from a downloaded file.

Google Play Protect checks apps before download and scans for harmful apps from other sources, according to Google's Play Protect help page (opens in a new tab). Since Android 8.0, installing an APK needs a per-app permission that you approve. If a website pushes you to allow unknown apps for a casino, treat it as a warning sign. Our guides on casino APK safety and Google Play Protect explain the risks.

Digital Wellbeing, limits and blocks on Samsung phones

Galaxy phones include Android's Digital Wellbeing tools. According to Google's Digital Wellbeing guide (opens in a new tab), an app timer closes the app and dims its icon when your daily time runs out, and the timer resets at midnight. Focus mode pauses chosen apps and their notifications.

Inside the casino apps, UK rules mean you're prompted to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Coral's Play listing mentions safer gambling tools, PlayOJO's help page lists deposit, time and loss limits plus OJO Safeguard and self-exclusion, and 10bet's listing names deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion in account settings. For Ladbrokes and Casumo, look for the limits option in your account settings. For a full block across every UK-licensed operator, GAMSTOP lets you self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Our guide to blocking gambling apps on Android walks through device-level options, and the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and open 24/7.

How to choose a casino app for your Galaxy, and what to avoid

Start with what you'll actually use. If you want Google Pay for deposits and fast card payouts, Coral and Ladbrokes publish the most detail. If you want an app with no sportsbook clutter and a short privacy disclosure, PlayOJO fits. If you also bet on sport and want one app for both, 10bet's combined app does that, at the cost of a less focused casino.

Things to avoid on any Samsung phone:

  • APK files from websites, messages or social media that claim to be a casino app.
  • Apps whose developer name doesn't match the licensed company.
  • Any casino that isn't on the Gambling Commission's register: unlicensed sites offer no UK protection.
  • Wallets topped up from a credit card, which UK operators can't accept.
  • Treating a welcome offer as a way to make money. The house edge means losses are likely over time.

Samsung-friendly casino apps with a welcome offer

All five ranked apps are on Google Play for Galaxy phones, and each has a welcome offer for new customers. The offers aren't Samsung-specific; they're the same on any device. 18+ and terms apply to every offer.

  • Coral: bet £10 on slots, get 100 free spins (10p each, selected games, accept within 48 hours, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings). Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify. Runs 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027.
  • Ladbrokes: play £10 on slots, get up to 500 free spins, as 50 a day for 10 days (10p each, selected games, claim before 23:59 each day, valid 7 days, no wagering). Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don't qualify.
  • PlayOJO: first deposit of at least £10, get 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza (10p each), with no wagering and winnings paid in cash. New UK customers, excluding Northern Ireland.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best casino app for Samsung phones?

Coral Casino is our top pick for Samsung phones. It's a standalone casino app on Google Play from LC International Limited, its help pages name Google Pay for deposits and withdrawals from £5, and Coral says it charges no withdrawal fees. Ladbrokes runs on the same platform and comes a close second. PlayOJO suits players who want a casino-only brand with a short data disclosure. See our Coral Casino app review for the full picture, or the Android rankings for more choice.

Can I download casino apps from the Samsung Galaxy Store?

We couldn't confirm a Galaxy Store version of any of our five partner apps, so use Google Play. Each operator publishes its own listing there, with the developer name and PEGI 18 rating you can check before installing. Google also screens real-money gambling apps for a valid licence before they appear in the UK. Our guide to installing a casino app on Android covers every step, and the Samsung Galaxy device guide covers phone settings.

Do casino apps accept Samsung Wallet?

None of our partners names Samsung Wallet among the payment methods on its help pages. Google Pay, which works on Galaxy phones, is named by Coral and Ladbrokes, with a £5 minimum and withdrawals paid back to the card behind your Google Pay account. PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet don't publish Google Pay either, so check each cashier for what's offered today. Our Google Pay casino apps page compares the details.

Which Android version do I need for casino apps on a Galaxy?

Google Play doesn't show a minimum Android version on the web listing for any of the five partner apps, so there's no published figure to quote. Open the listing on your Galaxy instead: if you can tap Install, the app supports your phone. If Play says your device isn't compatible, try the operator's mobile site in your browser. The older phones guide explains what to do when a phone stops getting updates.

Is it safe to install a casino APK on a Samsung phone?

It's much riskier than installing from Google Play. Play only lists UK real-money gambling apps after the developer proves it holds a licence, and Play Protect checks apps before download. An APK from a website or message skips that screening, and since Android 8.0 you must grant a per-app permission to install one, which is a step worth questioning. Read our guide on casino APK safety before allowing unknown apps.

Are casino apps on Samsung the same as on iPhone?

The games and accounts are the same, but the store details differ. App names change slightly between stores: Ladbrokes is Games & Slots on iPhone and Slots & Games on Android. Casumo's iPhone app is a combined casino and sportsbook app, while its Android title is casino-focused. iPhone listings publish a minimum iOS version and size; Android listings don't show either on the web. Our iPhone vs Android casino apps comparison covers the rest.

Which casino app pays out fastest on a Samsung phone?

Payout speed depends on the operator and method, not the phone. Both Coral and Ladbrokes publish Visa Fast Funds times of a couple of hours for approval and up to 4 hours to reach the bank. Casumo says e-wallet and Apple Pay withdrawals arrive instantly after approval. PlayOJO says most payments are processed within a few hours. Our fast withdrawal casino apps ranking and the withdrawal times guide compare them in full.

How do I block casino apps on a Samsung Galaxy?

Use several layers. Digital Wellbeing on the phone lets you set an app timer that closes a casino app when time runs out, and Focus mode pauses chosen apps. Inside each app you can set deposit limits, take a break or self-exclude. GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed operator for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Many banks also offer gambling blocks. Step-by-step help is in our page on blocking gambling apps on Android.
