Best bingo apps UK
The best bingo apps UK players can choose from include our ranked partner picks, Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO, plus dedicated bingo apps such as Gala Bingo and Jackpotjoy. Only PlayOJO's listing names bingo among our partners, so we explain exactly what each app publishes, how online bingo works under UK rules and how to keep ticket spending in check.
Key takeaways
- Of our three partners, only PlayOJO's App Store listing names bingo; Coral and Ladbrokes rank on overall app quality and £5 minimum deposits.
- Gala Bingo and Jackpotjoy are dedicated bingo-and-casino apps, and we cover them fairly even though we have no offers with them.
- Bingo is equal-chance gaming: you play against other players, not a bank, so no fixed RTP can be stated in advance.
- Slot stake limits and the 5-second rule don't apply to bingo, which makes your own deposit limit especially useful.

How we judged the best bingo apps UK players can use
Bingo players want different things from an app than slot fans do. Small deposits, quick small withdrawals, clear safer-gambling tools and a calm, readable layout matter more than a giant game count. So we looked at minimum deposits, published payout times, licence details and whether the operator says bingo is in the app.
Our ranking only includes the partners we hold offers with, and we've been upfront about where bingo isn't mentioned. Dedicated bingo apps from other operators follow in their own section, unranked. For the wider picture, start with our best casino apps hub.
| App | Bingo named by operator or listing | Licence covers bingo |
|---|---|---|
| Coral Casino | No (check the app) | Yes: LC International Limited holds remote bingo and casino licences (54743) |
| Ladbrokes Casino | No (check the app) | Yes: same licence holder as Coral (54743) |
| PlayOJO | Yes: listing names bingo; operator lists slots, live casino and bingo | Yes: Skill On Net Limited, bingo since February 2020 (39326) |
Best bingo apps UK: our partner picks
Our order reflects overall app quality from published facts, with bingo content flagged honestly. If bingo rooms are your main reason for downloading, PlayOJO is the only one of the three that lists them.
1. Coral: a low minimum deposit and quick payouts
The Coral Casino app has our highest editorial score, 4.3 out of 5. For a bingo player its appeal is the money side: Coral's help pages give a £5 minimum deposit for Google Pay and Pay by Bank, no withdrawal fees, and Visa Fast Funds payouts that typically land within about four hours once approved.
The catch is that the casino app's store listing talks about slots, Megaways, fruit machines, table games, live casino and free-to-play games with real-money prizes, but not bingo. Its licence holder, LC International Limited, is licensed for remote bingo, so check the app or Coral's website to see where bingo sits before you download. The iPhone app needs iOS 18.0 or later and is 101.6 MB.
2. Ladbrokes: daily free-to-play games and the same £5 minimum
The Ladbrokes Casino app shares Coral's payment set-up, including the £5 minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank and the no-fee withdrawal policy. Its listing highlights free-to-play games, including Instant Spins and a daily prize wheel, which suit players who like a low-cost daily habit rather than long sessions.
As with Coral, bingo isn't named in the casino app's listing, so look in the app. Because Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain), you may not be able to open new accounts at both; our explainer on why you can't open accounts at Coral and Ladbrokes covers this.
3. PlayOJO: the only partner listing that names bingo
The PlayOJO app is the partner pick that confirms bingo. Its App Store listing names bingo alongside slots, jackpot slots, table games and live casino, and Skill On Net Limited has held a bingo licence since February 2020. The iPhone app needs iOS 15.0 or later and is only 25.4 MB.
For small-stakes players, PlayOJO's help page says you can withdraw as little as you want, and most payments are processed within a few hours. Its safer-gambling tools include deposit limits, Take A Break and Safe Mate. Our PlayOJO games page has more on what the lobby holds.
Dedicated UK bingo apps worth knowing
If you want an app built around bingo rooms, these UK-licensed apps put bingo front and centre. We don't have offers with them, so they're unranked, and the details come from their App Store listings, operator pages and, where marked, third-party reviews.
| App | Bingo on offer | iPhone details | Licence holder |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gala Bingo: Gala - Bingo & Slot Games | 30, 40, 50, 75, 80 and 90-ball; over 20 rooms (App Store) | iOS 18.0+, 99.7 MB | LC International Limited (54743) |
| Jackpotjoy: Jackpotjoy - Real Money Casino | 90-ball and 75-ball, inside the main app | iOS 16.0+, 94.2 MB | Gamesys Operations Limited (38905) |
| Midnite: Midnite: Sports & Casino | Bingo listed by third-party reviews; licence includes bingo since July 2024 | iOS 16.0+, 168 MB | Dribble Media Limited (42647) |
| Betway: Betway - Online Casino & Slots | Bingo listed among game types in its store listings | iOS 15.1+, 63 MB | Betway Limited (39372) |
| Virgin Games: Virgin Games: Real Money Slots | Website links to bingo; no separate bingo app confirmed | iOS 16.0+, 95.4 MB | Gamesys Operations Limited (38905) |
Gala Bingo is the most complete bingo app we could verify. It's a combined bingo and casino app with no sportsbook, and third-party reviews list a wide set of tools, from a deposit curfew to a maximum stake limit. Interestingly, it sits under the same licence holder as Coral and Ladbrokes.
Jackpotjoy's operator publishes spend limits, session reminders that switch on after an hour by default, session limits and cool-off periods from 24 hours to six weeks. Our answer on which casino apps have bingo tracks changes to these line-ups.
90-ball, 75-ball and 80-ball bingo on a phone
90-ball is the traditional British format, 75-ball is the North American favourite, and 80-ball sits between them. The ticket shapes differ a lot, which matters on a small screen.
| Format | Ticket | How you win |
|---|---|---|
| 90-ball | 3 rows × 9 columns: 15 numbers and 12 blanks | One line, two lines on one ticket, then a full house |
| 75-ball | 5 × 5 card: 24 numbers and a free centre space | Patterns such as lines, diamonds or T shapes |
| 80-ball | 4 × 4 card: 16 numbers in four colour groups of 20 | Lines, corners or a full card, depending on the room |
On a 90-ball ticket each column holds one band of numbers: 1 to 9 in the first, then each following decade, with 80 to 90 in the last. A strip of six tickets contains every number from 1 to 90 exactly once, so you'll always mark at least one number per call if you play a full strip.
In portrait mode a full strip can mean scrolling, so check whether the app sorts your best tickets to the top. Our bingo game guide explains how prize stages work, and the bingo glossary entry covers terms like full house and strip.
Why bingo in an app works differently from slots
The Gambling Commission treats bingo as equal-chance gaming. You don't play against the house; every ticket in a game has the same chance, players must take part to win, and each game has a defined end. The Commission's guidance on how bingo is defined (opens in a new tab) also notes that bingo is the only form of gambling in the Gambling Act 2005 without a specific statutory definition.
- No fixed RTP: the Commission's game information standard accepts that bingo's chances can't be stated in advance because they depend on how many people join. A quiet room and a busy room give very different odds.
- No slot stake limit: the £5 and £2 limits cover reel-based slots only, so they don't apply to bingo tickets.
- No 5-second rule: the minimum game cycle for non-slot casino games excludes bingo.
- Licensing: a remote bingo licence covers apps, websites and mobile, and the Commission says running online bingo without one breaks the law, even for charity on a video call.
Bingo apps often sit next to slots, Slingo and live game shows in the same lobby, and those games follow the casino rules. If you drift from a bingo room into slots, the slot stake limits and 2.5-second minimum spin time apply again. Our Slingo apps page covers the bingo-slot hybrid.
Bingo tickets and budgets in pounds
Because bingo has no published house edge, the most useful sum is simply what you'll spend. Ticket prices vary by room, so here's a worked example using a 10p ticket.
| Tickets per game | Cost per game | Games | Total spend |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10p | 20 | £2 |
| 6 (a full 90-ball strip) | 60p | 20 | £12 |
| 12 (two strips) | £1.20 | 20 | £24 |
More tickets raise your share of the chances in that game, but they raise your cost by exactly the same proportion, and the prize pool depends on how many others are playing. Decide your total for the session first, then work out how many tickets that buys.
Bingo bonuses vs slot offers in UK apps
Since 19 January 2026, a single incentive can't mix more than one type of gambling product, such as bingo and casino. The Commission announced the change in its news on safer, simpler promotions (opens in a new tab), alongside the 10x cap on bonus wagering. In practice, a welcome offer is now either a bingo offer or a casino offer, not a bundle of both.
All three of our partners' welcome offers are slot offers. Playing bingo won't count towards Coral's or Ladbrokes' £10 slot stake, and PlayOJO's spins are for Big Bass Bonanza. If you mainly want bingo, read any bingo-specific promotion in the app on its own terms. Our guide on how wagering works in casino apps explains the 10x cap.
How to start playing bingo in a casino app
Menus differ between apps, so treat these as general steps rather than exact button names.
- Check the operator's licence on the Gambling Commission's public register.
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, making sure the publisher matches the brand.
- Register and complete age and identity verification, which UK rules require before you can deposit or play, even in free games.
- Set a deposit limit when the app prompts you before your first deposit.
- Find the bingo lobby, compare rooms by ticket price and start time, and buy only the tickets your budget allows.
- Keep an eye on the net spend and time display, and log out when the session you planned is over.
Verification is quickest when your details match your bank exactly. The documents usually asked for are listed in how casino apps verify your identity.
Bingo app mistakes to avoid
- Chasing a big-prize room: a large advertised prize can draw more players, and every extra ticket in the game spreads the chances thinner.
- Buying more tickets to catch up: extra tickets raise cost in step with chance, so they can't recover losses.
- Unlicensed bingo: social media or video-call bingo for money without a licence is illegal, and offshore apps give you no UK protection.
- Forgetting the side games: slots and instant games in a bingo lobby have their own house edge, so count them in your budget.
If bingo is taking more time or money than you planned, the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open 24/7. GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) lets you block all UK-licensed gambling sites and apps for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years, and our GAMSTOP guide explains how it works.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best bingo app in the UK?
For a dedicated bingo app, Gala Bingo is the most complete we could verify, with 30 to 90-ball games in over 20 rooms according to its App Store listing. Among our partners, Coral ranks first on overall app quality and £5 minimum deposits, while PlayOJO is the only partner whose listing names bingo. Compare the Gala Bingo app review with our partner picks above.
Which casino apps have bingo?
PlayOJO is the partner app whose store listing names bingo, and dedicated apps such as Gala Bingo and Jackpotjoy run bingo rooms inside their main app. Coral's and Ladbrokes' casino app listings don't mention bingo, although their licence holder is licensed for it, so check the app. Line-ups change, so confirm in the lobby. Our answer on which casino apps have bingo is kept current.
Is online bingo legal in the UK?
Yes, online bingo is legal in Great Britain when the operator holds a Gambling Commission remote bingo licence. The Commission says running online bingo without a licence, including on social media or video calls, breaks section 6 of the Gambling Act 2005, even for charity. Northern Ireland has separate gambling law. Our guide on how casino apps are licensed in the UK explains the licence types.
What is the RTP of online bingo?
Online bingo doesn't have a fixed RTP that can be stated in advance, because the odds depend on how many people buy tickets in each game. The Commission's game information standard recognises this exception for bingo. What you can control is your spend: tickets bought multiplied by price. Our house edge by game page compares bingo with games that do have fixed edges.
Do slot stake limits apply to bingo apps?
No, the £5 and £2 stake limits apply only to online slots, which the Commission defines as reel-based casino games. Bingo tickets aren't covered, and bingo is also excluded from the 5-second minimum game cycle for other casino games. Slots inside a bingo app still follow the limits. Our explainer on slot stake limits on mobile shows how apps apply them by age.
Can I get a bingo and casino welcome bonus together?
No, not in a single offer: since 19 January 2026 a UK incentive can't include more than one type of gambling product, such as bingo and casino together. Operators can still run separate bingo and casino promotions. Our partners' welcome offers are slot offers, so bingo play doesn't count towards them. Our guide to reading casino app bonus terms explains what to check.
What's the difference between 90-ball and 75-ball bingo?
90-ball bingo uses a ticket of three rows and nine columns with 15 numbers, paying for one line, two lines and a full house. 75-ball bingo uses a 5 × 5 card with 24 numbers and a free centre, and wins come from patterns such as diamonds or T shapes. Rooms in an app usually show which format they use. Our bingo game guide explains both formats.
Can I play bingo on an Android phone?
Yes, bingo apps run on Android phones as well as iPhones, and PlayOJO, Coral and Ladbrokes all publish casino apps on Google Play. Some bingo brands' Android listings couldn't be confirmed, so search Google Play for the exact app name and check the developer. Google Play doesn't display a minimum Android version on its web listings. Step-by-step help is in installing a casino app on Android.
