Casino apps with free daily games

Casino apps with free daily games let you spin a prize wheel or play a no-stake prize game, usually once a day. Among our partners, Ladbrokes and Coral are the two whose App Store listings name free-to-play games. We rank them on what's actually published, put a pound value on a typical prize and explain why a daily habit loop deserves a second thought.

Key takeaways

  • Ladbrokes' listing names a daily prize wheel, Instant Spins and free contests; Coral's names free-to-play games with real-money prizes.
  • PlayOJO publishes daily Kickers perks, not a free daily game, so check its Rewards area and lobby.
  • A handful of 10p free spins is worth well under £1 on average, so treat a daily game as a small extra.
  • You must pass age verification before playing even the free-to-play version of a gambling game.

Casino apps with free daily games: the short answer

If you want a casino app with free daily games, the Ladbrokes Casino app is the clearest pick from our partners. Its App Store listing names Instant Spins, a daily prize wheel and free contests on game shows and live roulette. The Coral Casino app comes second: its listing promises free-to-play games with real-money prizes but doesn't say how often they run.

PlayOJO is third, and we want to be upfront about why. Nothing PlayOJO publishes describes a free daily game. Its help pages describe Kickers as daily perks, which is a different thing. If a free game is your main reason for choosing an app, open PlayOJO's lobby and Rewards section before you sign up.

What a free daily game in a casino app actually is

A free daily game is a promotion dressed up as a game. You open it, tap to spin a wheel or pick a tile, and the result decides whether you get a prize. You don't stake your own money on that round, which is the whole point of the word “free”, but you do need a real-money account to play.

Prizes vary by operator and change over time. Free spins, bonus credit, reward currency and prize-draw entries are all formats you'll see in UK apps. The promotion's terms set what the prize is, when it expires and whether any wagering requirement applies, so read them before treating a prize as money.

It's also different from a social casino app, where every game is played with virtual coins that can't be cashed out. A daily game sits inside a real-money casino app, so the prizes can have cash value, and the app around it is built to take deposits. Our explainer on what a daily free game is covers the format in more depth.

How we ranked casino apps with free daily games

We rank only our five partner casinos, and only three are on this list. We used the UK App Store listings, checked on 20 October 2026, plus the operators' help pages. We did not play the games ourselves, so nothing below describes prize odds or how a wheel behaves in practice.

  1. Is a free game named in an official source? A listing or help page that names the game beats a vague mention of “rewards”.
  2. Is the frequency stated? “Daily” has to be in the operator's own wording to count as daily.
  3. What else comes with the account? The app's type, size and welcome offer, because you're installing a real-money casino to get the free game.
  4. How clear are the catches? Whether prize values, expiry and wagering are published, or left for you to find in the app.

That puts Ladbrokes first, because its listing is the only one to name a daily game. It's also why the offer boxes on this page follow the ranking rather than our usual order. Our main ranking of casino apps weighs every factor, not just free games.

Best casino apps with free daily games, ranked

1. Ladbrokes Casino: the only listing that names a daily prize wheel

The iOS app is called “Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots”, published by Entain and run under LC International Limited's Gambling Commission licence (account 54743). It needs iOS 18.0 or later and is 101.2 MB. On Android, the Google Play name reverses the words: “Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games”. It's a standalone casino app, separate from the Ladbrokes sportsbook.

The listing names three kinds of free-to-play game: Instant Spins, a daily prize wheel, and contests built around game shows and live roulette. It also describes LadBucks, a reward currency used on arcade games. What it doesn't publish is the prize table for the wheel, so you'll only see the possible prizes once you're inside the app.

2. Coral Casino: free-to-play prize games, frequency not stated

“Coral Casino: Slots & Games” is also published by Entain under the same licence. It needs iOS 18.0 or later and is 101.6 MB, and it too is separate from Coral's sports app. Its listing promises free-to-play games with real-money prizes, along with Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins promotions.

The listing doesn't say the free games run every day, so we've ranked Coral below Ladbrokes. Our page on Coral's free game explains what is known. One practical point: Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, so you may not be able to open new accounts at both. See why Coral and Ladbrokes accounts can clash.

3. PlayOJO: daily perks, but no published free game

PlayOJO's iOS app, “PlayOJO Real Money Casino”, comes from Skill On Net Ltd (Gambling Commission account 39326). At 25.4 MB and needing only iOS 15.0, it's the lightest of the three. It's a casino-only brand with no sportsbook.

None of the PlayOJO sources we use mention a free daily game. Its help page describes Kickers as daily perks and explains OJO Levels, which only go up and don't all carry a reward. The app also highlights OJOplus, money back on every game you play. These are rewards for playing rather than free games, so check the app's lobby and Rewards section if a daily free game is what you're after.

Free daily game apps compared side by side

Because a daily game lives inside a full casino app, it helps to see what you're actually installing. These details come from the UK App Store and Google Play listings.

What a free daily game prize is worth in pounds

A prize's face value and its average value are different numbers. A free spin's average return is its stake multiplied by the slot's RTP. So a 10p spin on a slot with a 96% RTP returns 9.6p on average. The RTP varies by game and sometimes by casino, so check the game's help screen.

These are illustrations, not prizes any app has published, and they use the 96% example RTP throughout. Even so, the pattern holds. A daily game adds pennies to a few pounds of average value, and that's spread over many days of opening the app. It's a nice extra if you already use the app. It isn't a reason to install one, and there's no way to make it pay over time: every prize spin still carries the house edge.

UK rules that apply to free-to-play casino games

Free doesn't mean unregulated. Under the Gambling Commission's rules, you must be age-verified before you can open the free-to-play version of a gambling game, not just before you deposit. The Commission explains this in its guide to age and ID verification (opens in a new tab).

The Commission's technical standards also cover play-for-free games. Its RTS 6 standard on play-for-free games (opens in a new tab) requires demo games to reflect real-money game outcomes. A free version, in other words, shouldn't be tuned to look kinder than the real thing.

  • Wagering cap: since 19 January 2026, any wagering on a bonus prize can't be more than 10 times the bonus.
  • Mixed-product ban: from the same date, promotions can't require you to gamble on different products, such as sports and casino, to get a reward. See the mixed-product bonus ban.
  • Marketing consent: reminders about a daily game sent by email or text count as marketing, and you choose which channels you agree to.

Why daily games bring you back, and how to stay in control

A daily game is designed to make opening a casino app part of your routine. That's the honest commercial reason it exists. Once the app is open, the deposit button and the slot lobby are only a tap away. Skipping a day costs you almost nothing, as the maths above shows.

If you want to use daily games without letting them pull you into extra play, this order of steps helps:

  1. Set a deposit limit before anything else; the app must prompt you to choose one before your first deposit.
  2. Find the free game in the app's promotions area and read its terms: prize type, expiry and any wagering.
  3. Play the free round once, then close the app if you hadn't planned a paid session.
  4. If you win spins, note the deadline but don't deposit just to use them.
  5. Turn off push notifications if daily reminders start to feel like a nudge.

Our guides to turning off casino app notifications and setting a deposit limit walk through both settings. If reminders are hard to ignore, notifications and urges has practical help.

Other UK casino apps with free daily games

These brands aren't partners, so they're unranked and we don't link to their apps or sites. What follows is what their store listings or other published sources say.

  • BetMGM: the UK App Store listing names a free daily Golden Wheel alongside the MGM Millions jackpot. It's a combined sports and casino app from LeoVegas Gaming PLC (account 39198).
  • PartyCasino: its app listings mention a daily free prize wheel, a paid “Mega” wheel and both free and paid slot tournaments. It runs under the same LC International licence as Coral and Ladbrokes.
  • Jackpotjoy: the App Store names the Wheel of Joy, an opt-in wheel with up to four spins a week, so it isn't daily. A third-party review also mentions a daily free game called Balls of Joy.
  • William Hill Vegas: trade press reporting on the October 2025 app refresh mentions daily free-to-play games. We couldn't confirm the UK App Store listing.

Notice the paid wheel at PartyCasino. Some free games sit next to paid versions that look similar, so check which one you're opening.

How to choose a casino app with free daily games

Start with the app you'd use anyway. A daily game is too small a perk to justify a 100 MB download and a new account on its own. If you already play slots at Ladbrokes or Coral, the free games are a bonus. If you don't, compare the whole package on our free spins app list and our no wagering casino apps.

Then check three things in the free game's terms: what the prize is, how long you have to use it, and whether winnings from it are cash or bonus funds. If those details are hard to find, that tells you something about how the promotion is run.

What to avoid with free daily game casino apps

  • Depositing to use a small prize. A few spins worth pennies on average aren't worth a deposit you hadn't planned.
  • Confusing free and paid wheels. Where both exist, the paid one costs real money.
  • Letting expiry dates set your schedule. A prize that lapses is no loss; chasing it can be.
  • Opening several accounts for more daily games. Operators link accounts, Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, and duplicate accounts break the terms.
  • Expecting a free game to change the odds. Any prize spins still run on the same house edge.

Frequently asked questions

Which casino app has the best free daily game?

Among our partners, Ladbrokes publishes the most about its free games. Its App Store listing names a daily prize wheel, Instant Spins and free contests on game shows and live roulette. Coral's listing mentions free-to-play games with real-money prizes but doesn't say they run daily. PlayOJO doesn't publish a free daily game. No operator publishes the prize odds, so judge the app as a whole. See the Ladbrokes Casino app review for the full picture.

Are free daily games on casino apps really free?

Yes, playing the round itself doesn't cost you a stake, but there are conditions around it. You need a verified real-money account, and the prize may come as spins or bonus credit with an expiry date or wagering attached. The bigger cost is indirect: the game brings you into an app built for paid play. Read the promotion terms first, and see our guide to reading casino app bonus terms.

Can you win real money from a free daily game?

Sometimes, depending on the prize. Coral's App Store listing describes free-to-play games with real-money prizes. Other prizes come as free spins or bonus credit, whose winnings may be cash or bonus funds depending on the terms. A no-wagering spin's winnings are usually paid as cash, while bonus credit may have to be wagered first. Average prize values are small. Our page on winning real money on casino apps explains the odds honestly.

Does PlayOJO have a free daily game?

Not that PlayOJO publishes. Its help page describes Kickers as daily perks and explains OJO Levels, and the app highlights OJOplus money back on every game. None of these is a free game you play for a prize. Promotions change, so if a free daily game matters to you, look in the app's Rewards section and lobby after signing up. Our PlayOJO app review covers its rewards in detail.

Do I need to deposit to play a casino app's daily free game?

Not necessarily, but you do need a fully registered, age-verified account. The operator's terms decide whether a deposit or past play is needed before the free game appears, so check the promotion page. Since 31 October 2025, apps must prompt you to set a deposit limit before your first deposit, which is a good moment to decide your budget. Our guide to your first deposit in a casino app explains the steps.

Why do I need ID checks to play a free game?

Because Gambling Commission rules require age verification before you can play free-to-play versions of gambling games, not only before deposits. The rule exists to stop under-18s playing casino-style games in licensed apps. Checks usually start with database matching on your name, address and date of birth, with documents requested if that fails. Our guide to age verification in casino apps explains what to expect.

Do prizes from daily free games have wagering?

Some do and some don't; the promotion terms say which. Free spins with no wagering usually pay winnings as cash, while bonus credit can carry a wagering requirement. Since 19 January 2026, UK rules cap wagering at 10 times the bonus amount, so a £1 bonus prize can't demand more than £10 of play. Check the expiry too. Our guide to how wagering works shows the maths.

Are free daily games the same as social casino apps?

No. A social casino app uses virtual coins that can't be withdrawn, and it isn't a real-money gambling product. A free daily game sits inside a licensed real-money casino app, needs a verified account and can award prizes with cash value. That's why the age checks and bonus rules apply. Our comparison of social casino and real-money apps sets out the differences.
