Sports betting and casino apps: one download or two?
If you bet on sport and play casino games, you have two choices. A combined app puts the sportsbook and casino behind one icon, usually as tabs. Other brands keep the two apart, with a sportsbook app and a dedicated casino app.
Neither is better for everyone. One app is simpler to manage. Two apps make it easier to limit or delete one product without the other. The standalone vs sportsbook apps comparison goes further, and every ranking lives on the best casino apps hub.
We only have published app details for Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ casino apps, not for their sportsbook apps. Where this page says something about the sportsbook apps, it comes from the casino app listings, which say they are separate.

The best sports betting and casino brands, ranked
1. Coral: separate casino app, one Entain licence
Coral covers sport and casino through two apps. Its App Store listing describes Coral Casino: Slots & Games as a dedicated casino app, separate from the Coral sportsbook app. LC International Limited holds the licence; the Gambling Commission register entry (opens in a new tab) shows remote casino, bingo and betting licences active since 1 July 2019.
The casino app is 101.6 MB, needs iOS 18.0 or later and lists Megaways slots, blackjack, roulette, live casino and Coral Coins and Smart Rewards promotions. Coral’s help pages say it charges no withdrawal fees and that Visa Fast Funds payouts are typically approved within a couple of hours, then take up to 4 hours to reach the bank.
It ranks first because keeping casino in its own app gives you a clean way to control it, and the money side is clearly published. The trade-off is two downloads if you also bet with Coral. 2. Ladbrokes: the same model, with game shows and free games
Ladbrokes works exactly like Coral: a casino app separate from the Ladbrokes sportsbook app, under the same LC International Limited licence (account 54743). The casino app is 101.2 MB and needs iOS 18.0 or later. Its listing mentions more than 1,800 slots, live casino with game shows and free-to-play games.
Payment facts match Coral’s, including no withdrawal fees and a £2,000 cap per deposit. The iOS privacy label shows no data used to track you. Because Entain runs both brands, you may not be able to open new accounts at Coral and Ladbrokes. See Coral vs Ladbrokes for the differences.
3. 10bet: the all-in-one sports and casino app
10bet is the true combined option. One app, 10bet: Sports Betting & Casino, holds in-play betting, Cash Out, Bet Builder and live streaming alongside the casino. The iOS description gives more than 2,000 slots plus live casino tables. Blue Star Planet Limited holds the licence; the register entry for account 43173 (opens in a new tab) shows remote casino and betting licences since 17 December 2015.
It’s 112.3 MB, needs iOS 16.0 or later and sits in the App Store’s Sports category. 10bet publishes the strongest support of the three: a UK phone line open 08:00 to 23:00 daily, plus live chat and email. Its help centre says card and e-wallet withdrawals take up to 2 business days and bank transfers up to 3.

If one icon and one place to look matters most, 10bet fits. If you want the casino kept apart from your betting, Coral and Ladbrokes do that by design.
What the mixed-product ban means for sports and casino apps
From 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission’s promotion rules (opens in a new tab) ban offers that require you to use one gambling product to get a reward on another. An offer like “bet £10 on football, get 50 slot spins” is no longer allowed. The same rules cap bonus wagering at 10 times the bonus.
In practice, a sports and casino brand now runs separate welcome offers for each product. 10bet asks you to choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up if that’s the one you want. Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ casino offers need £10 played on slots, not on sport.

Keeping sport and casino spending separate
Sports betting and casino games move at very different speeds. A pre-match football bet can take a couple of hours to settle; a slot can take a stake every 2.5 seconds. When both sit one tap apart, it’s easy to try to win back a lost bet on the slots. That’s chasing losses, and the house edge makes it a costly habit.
Set a monthly budget for each product before you start, and write them down.
Set a deposit limit in your account that covers both budgets combined.
In your marketing preferences, opt out of casino messages if you mainly bet, or the other way round. UK operators must let you choose by product.
Turn off push notifications for the product you want to use less, using your phone’s settings.

Can I get one bonus for both sports and casino?
No. Since 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission has banned promotions that mix gambling products, so you can’t get casino spins for a sports bet or a free bet for playing slots.
