Casino apps on Apple Vision Pro

Casino apps on Apple Vision Pro are iPhone and iPad apps whose App Store listings name Apple Vision as a compatible device. All five of our partner apps do: Coral and Ladbrokes need visionOS 2.0 or later, while PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet list visionOS 1.0 or later. Here's what that compatibility means, how to install them, and how to keep track of time and money inside a headset.

Key takeaways

  • Every partner app lists Apple Vision compatibility; Coral and Ladbrokes need visionOS 2.0, the others visionOS 1.0.
  • No listing describes a 3D or spatial casino; expect the iPhone or iPad app in a window.
  • A headset hides your usual clock, so set a reality check and a deposit limit before you start.
  • Gamban doesn't list visionOS, so GAMSTOP and bank blocks are the device-proof options.

Which casino apps work on Apple Vision Pro

The App Store listing for each app has a Compatibility section, and that's where Apple Vision appears. All five partner apps include it, though the minimum visionOS version differs. The table below takes each detail from the UK App Store listing.

If you only want a casino, the Coral Casino app, the Ladbrokes Casino app and the PlayOJO app are casino apps in their own right. The Casumo app and the 10bet app put sports betting and casino in one download, which our guide to standalone vs sportsbook apps weighs up.

Other UK casino apps that list Apple Vision support

Many other UK-licensed brands also list Apple Vision. These are the ones whose UK App Store listings we could confirm, with the minimum visionOS version where the listing gives it. We don't have offers with these brands; the links go to our reviews.

Betfair's sports betting app also lists Apple Vision, but its listing describes sports markets and doesn't mention casino games. For several large brands, including Sky Vegas and BetVictor, the listings we saw named iPad but didn't confirm Apple Vision either way, so look at the Compatibility section before you rely on it.

What 'compatible with Apple Vision' means for a casino app

Compatibility means the iPhone or iPad version of the app is allowed to run on the headset. It doesn't mean the operator has built a 3D casino. None of the partner listings describes spatial tables, immersive environments or any feature made for visionOS, so expect the familiar app in a flat window that you place in your space.

That has practical consequences. Menus, the cashier and game controls are laid out for touch screens, and live dealer streams arrive as ordinary video inside that window. Developers describe features in their listings, and when a listing is silent, the honest answer is that the app hasn't advertised anything headset-specific.

  • Same account: you sign in with the account you already use on your phone or the website.
  • Same rules: stake limits, game speeds and safer-gambling tools come from the operator, not the device.
  • Same games: what you see depends on the operator's lobby; check it for any game you want.

If you'd rather have a bigger flat screen with touch controls built in, our pages on casino apps on iPad and casino apps on Mac cover the closest alternatives in Apple's range.

How to download a casino app on Apple Vision Pro

Installing works through the App Store on the headset. Apple's rules say real-money gambling apps must be free to download, licensed where they're used and geo-restricted to those places, so a genuine UK casino app never costs anything up front.

  1. Make sure the headset is on the visionOS version the listing asks for: 2.0 or later for Coral and Ladbrokes, 1.0 or later for PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet.
  2. Open the App Store and search for the app's name exactly as it appears in the tables above.
  3. Check the seller before you tap Get. It should match the operator, such as Entain for Coral and Ladbrokes or Skill On Net Ltd for PlayOJO.
  4. Look at the age rating (18+) and the Compatibility section to confirm Apple Vision is listed.
  5. Download, open the app and log in with your existing account, or register and complete the age and identity checks.
  6. Set a deposit limit when you're prompted before your first deposit.

If an app doesn't appear when you search on the headset, the developer may not offer it there. Look up the listing on your iPhone and check whether Apple Vision is named under Compatibility.

Our step-by-step guide to downloading a casino app on iPhone covers the parts that are identical, and Apple App Store rules for casino apps explains why every real-money app is free.

visionOS versions and age ratings for casino apps

Two partner apps, Coral and Ladbrokes, need visionOS 2.0 or later, matching their iOS 18.0 requirement on iPhone. PlayOJO and Casumo ask for visionOS 1.0 with iOS 15.0, and 10bet asks for visionOS 1.0 with iOS 16.0. If you haven't updated the headset since you bought it, the Entain apps may not install until you do.

Every partner app carries an 18+ rating. Apple's age rating definitions (opens in a new tab) class betting with real money, or with currency that can be exchanged for money, as Gambling, which sits in the 18+ tier. Apple says those rating values apply to devices on visionOS 26 and the matching iOS, iPadOS and macOS releases.

Keeping track of time and money in a headset

A headset fills your view, and the usual cues that a session has run long, like a clock on the wall or daylight fading, are easier to miss. UK rules help here. The Gambling Commission's time and reality check standard (opens in a new tab) says full-screen games that hide the device clock must show the time of day or the time elapsed, and that you must be able to choose how often a reality check appears.

Since 17 January 2025 your net spend and time played must also be shown in real time, and casino games other than slots must allow at least 5 seconds per round. Use these displays rather than guessing.

What live baccarat costs per hour

Live tables are a natural fit for a big virtual screen, so here's the maths for live baccarat. With six or eight decks, the house edge is 1.06% on Banker and 1.24% on Player, according to Wizard of Odds' baccarat figures (opens in a new tab). The Tie bet paying 8 to 1 is far more expensive, at 14.36% with eight decks.

Expected loss at £10 a hand over 50 hands (£500 staked)
BetHouse edgeExpected loss per hourOver a 2-hour session
Banker1.06%£5.30£10.60
Player1.24%£6.20£12.40
Tie (8 to 1, eight decks)14.36%£71.80£143.60

Fifty hands an hour is an assumption to show the arithmetic; the real pace depends on the table. These are long-run averages, so a single session can end well up or well down, and losses are the likely outcome over time. Our live baccarat on mobile guide explains the rules and side bets.

Privacy labels on Apple Vision casino apps

The privacy label on the App Store listing applies to the app wherever it runs, headset included. Labels are written by the developer and show what data is used to track you, what's linked to your identity and what isn't.

What each partner's iOS privacy label says
AppUsed to track youLocation
CoralUser Content, Usage DataCoarse location, linked to you
LadbrokesNo tracking category shownPrecise location, not linked to you
PlayOJOIdentifiersThe listing says it may use your location even when the app isn't open
CasumoIdentifiers, Usage Data, DiagnosticsNot listed on the iOS label
10betUsage DataNot listed on the iOS label

Apple and Google both require real-money apps to be restricted to the places they're licensed, which is one reason location appears on some labels. Neither says it has to be done by GPS. Our guide to reading a casino app privacy label explains each category.

Paying and logging in on the headset

Payments happen in the operator's cashier, not through Apple. Apple's guidelines bar in-app purchase for credit used in real-money gaming, so you won't see an App Store charge for a deposit.

  • Apple Pay: Coral's and Ladbrokes' help pages list it, PlayOJO's help page names it and Casumo's iOS listing mentions it. Whether it appears in the cashier on the headset isn't published, so check before you rely on it.
  • Debit cards and Pay by Bank: listed by Coral and Ladbrokes; PlayOJO names debit cards and Trustly.
  • Credit cards: banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020.
  • Biometric login: Casumo's listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID; the other partner listings don't mention biometric login, and none mentions the headset's own sign-in.

For payment options in more detail, see Apple Pay casino apps.

Blocking casino apps on Apple Vision Pro

Device blockers are patchier on a headset than on a phone. Gamban lists Mac, Windows, Android and iOS, but not visionOS. Apple's own guide to Content & Privacy Restrictions (opens in a new tab) is written for iPhone and iPad.

The blocks that don't depend on the device are the strongest choice here:

  • GAMSTOP: register once to be blocked by all online gambling companies licensed in Great Britain for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. It covers every app and website because it works on your account. See GAMSTOP self-exclusion.
  • Bank blocks: many UK banks let you block gambling payments from your card or account; see bank gambling blocks.
  • In-app tools: deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in the casino account; our safer gambling tools page lists what to look for.

  • Ladbrokes (visionOS 2.0+): play £10 on slots and get 50 free spins a day for the first 10 days, up to 500 spins at 10p (up to £50 face value). Frequently asked questions

Can you play casino apps on Apple Vision Pro?

Yes, you can play UK casino apps on Apple Vision Pro if the App Store listing names Apple Vision as compatible. Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet all do, and so do brands such as Betway, Virgin Games and Paddy Power Games. The app runs as its iPhone or iPad version in a window. Our casino apps by device hub compares every platform.

Is there a casino app made specifically for visionOS?

None of the casino app listings we've covered describes a version built specifically for visionOS. They're iPhone and iPad apps that the developers allow to run on the headset, so there are no advertised 3D tables or immersive environments. If that changes, the listing's description would say so. For the nearest touch-screen experience, see casino apps on iPad.

Which visionOS version do Coral and Ladbrokes need?

Coral and Ladbrokes both need visionOS 2.0 or later on Apple Vision, in line with their iOS 18.0 requirement on iPhone. PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet list visionOS 1.0 or later, so they'll install on an older headset setup. Update the headset first if the App Store won't let you download them. Read the Ladbrokes app review for its full listing details.

Do live casino games work on Apple Vision Pro?

Live casino should work if the operator's app runs on the headset, because live tables stream as video inside the app. What changes is only the screen, not the rules: non-slot games must allow at least 5 seconds per round and you can't play several games at once. Check the operator's lobby for specific tables. Our live casino apps hub covers the main games.

Is it safe to gamble with a headset on?

It can be, but you lose many of the everyday cues that tell you how long you've been playing, so set limits first. UK rules make full-screen games that hide the clock show the time, and you can choose how often reality checks appear. Set a deposit limit and a reality check before the session starts. Our reality checks guide explains how they work.

Can I use Apple Pay in a casino app on Vision Pro?

Possibly, but no operator publishes whether Apple Pay appears in its cashier on the headset, so check before you rely on it. Coral and Ladbrokes list Apple Pay on their help pages, PlayOJO's help page names it and Casumo's listing mentions it. Deposits are made through the operator, never through App Store purchases. See Apple Pay casino apps for more.

Can I block gambling apps on Apple Vision Pro?

Yes, through blocks that work on your account or bank rather than the headset. Gamban doesn't list visionOS among its supported systems, so GAMSTOP self-exclusion, a bank gambling block and the casino's own self-exclusion are the reliable options. GAMSTOP covers every online operator licensed in Great Britain. Start with our GAMSTOP self-exclusion guide.

Do Apple Vision casino apps use my location?

Some privacy labels list location. Coral's label shows coarse location linked to you, Ladbrokes shows precise location not linked to you, and PlayOJO's listing says it may use your location even when the app isn't open. Apple requires real-money apps to be geo-restricted to licensed areas. Our guide on whether casino apps track your location explains more.
