Our Gala Bingo app review looks at a bingo-first app that also carries slots, Slingo, scratchcards and live casino. Gala Bingo is run by LC International Limited, the Entain company behind Coral and Ladbrokes. Here's what the iPhone app needs, how the bingo rooms and the welcome offer work, how payments and withdrawals compare, and which tools help you keep control.

Key takeaways

  • Gala Bingo's app combines bingo rooms, slots, Slingo and live casino, with no sports betting.
  • The iPhone app, Gala - Bingo & Slot Games, needs iOS 18.0 or later and is 99.7 MB.
  • It's licensed through LC International Limited (UKGC account 54743), part of Entain, the same licensee as Coral and Ladbrokes.
  • The reported welcome offer is a bingo bonus with 4x wagering that can only be used on bingo.
  • Published withdrawal times and minimums differ between sources, so check the cashier before you rely on them.

Gala Bingo app review: our overall view

Gala is a familiar bingo name in the UK, and its app keeps bingo at the centre. The App Store listing describes more than 20 bingo rooms and hundreds of slot titles, with Slingo and live casino alongside. There's no sportsbook, which makes it one of the more focused apps in our UK casino app reviews.

The big strengths are a clear licence, a wide set of safer-gambling tools, and low reported minimum deposits from £5. The main drawbacks are a hefty iOS 18 requirement that rules out older iPhones, an Android listing we couldn't confirm, and withdrawal details that vary between sources.

One fact matters more than most here. Gala Bingo shares its licence holder with Coral and Ladbrokes, so the same company, rules and regulatory history sit behind all three. We explain what that means for your accounts and offers further down.

Gala Bingo licence: the Entain connection

Gala Bingo runs under LC International Limited, Gambling Commission account 54743. The Commission's register entry for LC International Limited (opens in a new tab) shows a remote licence covering bingo and casino, active from 1 July 2019. Both galabingo.com and the trading name gala bingo are listed as active, as you can see in the register's trading names for account 54743 (opens in a new tab).

LC International Limited is part of Entain, the group that also owns Coral and Ladbrokes, and those two brands sit on the same licence. In practice that means one set of company policies on verification, safer gambling and complaints across all three brands.

It also affects offers. Coral and Ladbrokes are run by the same company, so one person may not be able to hold new accounts at both, and the same caution is sensible with Gala Bingo. If you already have an account with one Entain brand, read the new-customer terms of another carefully before you sign up. For how one licence can cover several brands, see how casino apps are licensed in the UK.

One review site quotes a different licence number for Gala Bingo. The Commission's register is the authority, and it lists galabingo.com under account 54743.

Gala Bingo app download for iPhone and Android

On iPhone, the App Store lists the app as Gala - Bingo & Slot Games in the Casino category with an 18+ rating. The seller is shown as Gala, with Gala Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited as the provider. It needs iOS 18.0 or later and takes up 99.7 MB.

That iOS 18 floor is the main catch. If your iPhone can't run iOS 18, the app won't install, and the mobile website is your fallback. Our answer on whether casino apps work on older iPhones explains how to check your version. The app is marked Designed for iPad, runs on iPadOS 18, and also lists Apple Vision support; Mac use on Apple silicon is shown as not verified.

On Android, review sites say the app is free on Google Play, but we couldn't confirm the listing, developer name or content rating. Search Google Play for Gala Bingo, then check the developer and PEGI 18 rating before installing. See our Gala Bingo iPhone app and Gala Bingo Android app pages for more.

Installing Gala Bingo on an iPhone

  1. Check your iOS version in Settings under General, then About. You need iOS 18.0 or later.
  2. Free up at least 100 MB of storage for the 99.7 MB app and its updates.
  3. Open the App Store and search for Gala - Bingo & Slot Games.
  4. Check the seller says Gala and the age rating is 18+, then install.
  5. Open the app, log in or register, and complete the age and identity checks before you deposit.
  6. Set a deposit limit when you're prompted before your first deposit.

Gala Bingo games: bingo rooms, Slingo and slots

Bingo is the main draw. Review sites list 30, 40, 50, 75, 80 and 90-ball games, and the App Store mentions more than 20 rooms. There are also TV-themed bingo games based on Emmerdale and The Chase. If you're new to the formats, our bingo apps guide explains how 75-ball and 90-ball differ on a phone.

Beyond bingo, the app carries slots, jackpots, Slingo, scratchcards, live casino and game shows. The App Store says hundreds of slot titles; one review site puts it at over 250. Exclusive games are mentioned, with Bigger Banger and Gold Fish Fortunes named by reviewers. Gala doesn't say which studios supply its games.

Slingo mixes bingo-style number grids with a slot reel, which is why it often sits in bingo apps. As with any game, check its help screen for the return to player, and remember the house edge makes losses the likely outcome over time.

Gala Bingo bonus: the £60 bingo offer explained

At the time of checking (25 October 2026), review sites showed the Gala Bingo welcome offer as Play £10, get £60 Bingo Bonus. The reported terms: 18+, new customers, deposit and spend £10 on bingo within 7 days of registering, 4x wagering, and claim and use the bonus within 7 days. It's for bingo only, and certain payment methods are excluded. We couldn't confirm it on Gala's own site.

In pounds, 4x wagering on a £60 bonus means £240 of bingo tickets before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. That's well under the 10x UK cap that came in on 19 January 2026, as our page on the 10x wagering cap explains. Because it's a bingo bonus, it can't be used on slots, Slingo or live casino.

Your qualifying spend on bingo£10Within 7 days of registering
Bingo bonus£60Claim and use within 7 days
Wagering (4x bonus)£240 of bingo playWithin the 7-day window

A seven-day window for £240 of tickets is tight if you only play occasionally. Don't buy more tickets than you'd normally play just to clear it. The walkthrough on how wagering works in casino apps shows how to read these terms. We don't link to Gala's offer.

Gala Bingo withdrawal times, deposits and minimums

Review sites list debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer for deposits. The reported minimum deposit is £5 for most methods and £10 for PayPal, which is low compared with many apps. No fees were found, but the cashier is the place to confirm.

Withdrawals are reported to debit cards, PayPal, Neteller and Skrill. This is where sources disagree. One review site says PayPal, Neteller and Skrill payouts are instant and debit cards take one to three days; another gives one to three banking days for e-wallets and two to four for bank payments. The minimum withdrawal is quoted as £10 by one site and £5 by another.

Debit card withdrawals1–3 daysNot stated separately
Bank withdrawalsNot stated2–4 banking days
Minimum withdrawal£10£5

Because the figures conflict, treat the faster times as a best case and check the cashier for the current minimum. Gala's own help pages are the place to settle it. Our dedicated page on Gala Bingo app withdrawals and the guide to how to withdraw from a casino app cover the process step by step.

Paysafecard is reported for deposits only, so you'll need another method to cash out; see Paysafecard casino apps. Credit cards can't be used for gambling in Great Britain.

Gala Bingo customer support

Review sites list live chat, email, phone and social media (Facebook and X) for Gala Bingo, with 24/7 cover reported. A phone line is useful if you'd rather speak to someone, though we couldn't confirm the number on Gala's own pages, so use the contact details shown in the app's help area.

For anything about money, such as a withdrawal that hasn't arrived, live chat is usually quickest, and you should keep a note of the chat reference. If a complaint isn't resolved, UK operators must offer a route to an independent adjudicator; our page on complaints and ADR explains how that works.

Gala Bingo safer-gambling tools

Gala Bingo is reported to offer a long list of player controls. The list includes a budget calculator, a self-assessment, ads management, deposit limits, a maximum stake limit, a deposit curfew, reality checks, play breaks, a time-out, account closure, self-exclusion and GAMSTOP.

The deposit curfew stands out for a bingo app, because evening sessions are common. It is designed to block deposits during hours you set, so a late-night top-up is off the table. A maximum stake limit works in a similar way for bet sizes.

Is Gala Bingo safe? Licence and regulatory history

Gala Bingo is UK-licensed, so the Gambling Commission's rules on fair games, age checks, customer funds and complaints apply. For a bingo player, that's the main assurance you need when you hand over identity documents and money.

In August 2022, LC International Limited agreed to pay £14 million after the Commission found anti-money laundering and safer-gambling failures between December 2019 and October 2020. The total was £13,455,952 in lieu of a financial penalty plus £544,048.03 in divestment. The action covered the whole licensee, so it applies equally to Coral and Ladbrokes; Gala wasn't named specifically.

Alternatives to Gala Bingo with a welcome offer

We don't have an offer with Gala Bingo. The partner apps below are alternatives, but be aware of the overlap: Coral and Ladbrokes share Gala Bingo's licence holder, so if you already play with one Entain brand, check the new-customer terms before you sign up elsewhere. PlayOJO is run by a different company and lists bingo among its games. All offers are 18+ and terms apply.

PlayOJO (18+, new UK customers, excluding Northern Ireland): make a first deposit of at least £10 for 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each, worth £8 at face value. There's no wagering, so winnings are paid in cash; it can't be combined with other offers and is only available through the designated offer link. As a different operator that lists bingo, it's the most natural switch for a Gala player. Read the PlayOJO app review.

Coral Casino (18+, new players): from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027, deposit and bet £10 or more on slots for 100 free spins at 10p each on selected games, £10 at face value. Accept them within 48 hours and use them within 7 days; winnings carry no wagering. Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify. See the Coral Casino app review.

Ladbrokes Casino (18+, new customers): deposit and spend £10 or more on slots for 50 free spins a day over the first 10 days, up to 500 spins at 10p each, or £50 at face value. Claim before 23:59 each day; spins are valid for 7 days with no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don't qualify. See the Ladbrokes Casino app review, or weigh the two Entain apps in our Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison.

All three are slot offers, unlike Gala's bingo bonus, and they can't be used on bingo, table or live games. Gambling costs money over time, so only take an offer if you'd have played anyway.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Gala Bingo app?

Yes, there's a Gala Bingo app on the App Store called Gala - Bingo & Slot Games, and review sites say it's also on Google Play. The iPhone version needs iOS 18.0 or later, is 99.7 MB and is rated 18+. It combines bingo rooms with slots, Slingo, scratchcards and live casino, with no sports betting. A separate Gala Spins casino app also exists. Our Gala Bingo iPhone app page has the full listing details.

Who owns Gala Bingo?

Gala Bingo is owned by Entain and licensed through LC International Limited, Gambling Commission account 54743. That's the same licence holder that runs Coral and Ladbrokes, so all three brands share company policies, a complaints process and regulatory history. The App Store lists the app's provider as Gala Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited. Because the brands are connected, new-customer offers at one may be affected if you already hold an account at another. Our Coral vs Ladbrokes comparison covers the other two Entain apps.

How long do Gala Bingo withdrawals take?

Reported Gala Bingo withdrawal times vary by source. One review site says PayPal, Neteller and Skrill payouts are instant and debit cards take one to three days. Another gives one to three banking days for e-wallets and two to four for bank payments. Verification and internal approval can add time. Treat the quicker figures as a best case and check the app's cashier. See Gala Bingo app withdrawals and our answer on how long casino app withdrawals take.

What is the minimum deposit at Gala Bingo?

The reported minimum deposit at Gala Bingo is £5 for most payment methods and £10 for PayPal. That's lower than many casino apps, which suits bingo players buying cheap tickets. The welcome offer needs a £10 spend on bingo, so a £5 deposit wouldn't qualify for it. Credit cards can't be used. Confirm the current minimum in the cashier, and set a limit first. Our minimum deposit glossary entry explains how minimums vary by method.

What is the Gala Bingo welcome offer?

At the time of checking (25 October 2026), review sites showed Play £10, get £60 Bingo Bonus for new customers aged 18+. You deposit and spend £10 on bingo within 7 days of registering, then claim and use the bonus within 7 days. Wagering is 4x, so £240 of bingo play, and the bonus is bingo-only with some payment methods excluded. Check the full terms in the app. Our wagering requirement glossary entry explains how playthrough works.

Is Gala Bingo safe and legit?

Yes, Gala Bingo is a legitimate UK-licensed brand run by LC International Limited, part of Entain, under Gambling Commission account 54743. That gives you UK protections on fair games, identity checks and complaints. In August 2022 the licensee agreed to a £14 million settlement over anti-money laundering and safer-gambling failures from 2019 to 2020, which covered all its brands. Only install the app from the official stores. The checks worth making on any brand are listed in are casino apps safe?

Will the Gala Bingo app work on my older iPhone?

Only if it can run iOS 18.0 or later, which the App Store listing requires. Older iPhones that stopped receiving updates before iOS 18 won't be able to install the app, so you'd need to use Gala's mobile website instead. Check your version in Settings under General, then About. You'll also need about 100 MB free. Our casino apps on iPhone page explains device requirements across the main brands.

Can I set a deposit curfew on Gala Bingo?

Yes, review sites list a deposit curfew among Gala Bingo's safer-gambling tools. It stops deposits during the hours you choose, which helps if late evenings are when you're most likely to top up on impulse. It sits alongside deposit limits, a maximum stake limit, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. Look for these in your account settings in the app. Our guide to taking a time-out in a casino app explains the other options.
