Storage and iOS version: which app fits your phone

Two numbers decide whether an app installs: the iOS version and the free space. On iOS version, the Betfair Live Casino listing asks least, but an app that old may not be maintained. 10bet asks for iOS 16.0, and Betfair Sports Betting for iOS 16.4, so any iPhone that can’t reach iOS 16 is left with the Betfair live app or a mobile website.

Why the Betfair Live Casino listing shows 17+

10bet’s App Store listing shows an 18+ rating, and so does Betfair’s own sports app. Betfair Live Casino shows 17+, with a note that users must be 18 or over and hold a Betfair account. That mismatch is another sign of an older listing, and it may reflect an earlier rating scheme.

Privacy: what each listing says it collects

10bet’s App Store privacy label says Usage Data may be used to track you; Financial Info and Contact Info are linked to you; and further Usage Data and Advertising Data are collected without being linked to you. Why live tables are a poor way to clear 10bet’s wagering

If live tables are what draw you to Betfair, it is worth knowing how 10bet’s bonus treats them. 10bet’s bonus FAQ says table and live games count only 10% towards wagering. Every £10 staked at a live table clears just £1 of the £250 needed.

To clear £250 at a live roulette table, you would need to stake £2,500. A single-zero wheel has a house edge of 2.70% (1 in 37), so that much staking costs £67.50 on average, which is far more than the £25 bonus is worth. That is why spin and match offers are best thought of as slot offers.
