Which iPhones run the Sky Vegas app? The iOS 15 requirement
Sky Vegas asks for iOS 15.0 or later. That's a lower bar than many current casino apps: Coral's and Ladbrokes' casino apps both list iOS 18.0 or later. In practice, an iPhone that has stopped receiving the newest iOS updates may still install Sky Vegas when it can't install those two.
To see your version, open Settings, tap General, then About, and look at the iOS Version line. If it reads 15 or higher, the listing says the app is supported. Keeping iOS as up to date as your phone allows is still sensible for security, even when an app doesn't demand it.
| App | Requires | Size |
|---|---|---|
| Sky Vegas: Casino Games | iOS 15.0 or later | 155.7 MB |
| Sky Casino Blackjack, Roulette | iOS 15.0 or later | 155.9 MB |
| Coral Casino: Slots & Games | iOS 18.0 or later | 101.6 MB |
| Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots | iOS 18.0 or later | 101.2 MB |
Our guide to which iOS version casino apps need explains why requirements rise over time, and do casino apps work on older iPhones covers the options if yours is out of support.
Sky Vegas app size: how much storage it needs
The listing gives a download size of 155.7 MB. Compared with Coral's 101.6 MB casino app, that's 54.1 MB more; against Ladbrokes' 101.2 MB it's 54.5 MB more. On a 64 GB iPhone that's a small slice, but on an older 16 GB or 32 GB model every app counts.
Listed sizes are the install size; apps can grow as they store data and updates. If space is tight, iPhone Storage in Settings lets you offload apps you rarely use while keeping their data. There's more in our casino app storage space guide, and you can sort apps by footprint in our list of casino apps with the smallest download size.
Is the Sky Vegas app standalone or part of Sky Bet?
It's standalone. Sky Vegas: Casino Games is a casino-only app, and Sky Bet is a separate sports betting app. That suits anyone who wants casino games without a sportsbook on the same home screen, and it also means a block or limit you set on one app icon doesn't automatically cover the other.
Sky Casino, a sister brand under the same licence, has its own separate iPhone app too, covered on our Sky Casino iPhone app page. For more apps built this way, see our list of standalone casino apps.
How to download the Sky Vegas app on iPhone
Real-money casino apps must be free on the App Store, so you should never be asked to pay to install Sky Vegas. Follow these steps to make sure you get the genuine app.
- Check your iPhone runs iOS 15.0 or later and has at least 155.7 MB free, plus room for updates.
- Open the App Store app and search for "Sky Vegas".
- Open the result named "Sky Vegas: Casino Games" and confirm the seller is Sky Betting & Gaming.
- Read the App Privacy section and the age rating, which should be 18+.
- Tap Get and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple Account password.
- Open the app and register or sign in. You'll need to pass age and identity checks before you can deposit or play.
- Set a deposit limit when you're prompted. Since 31 October 2025, UK operators must ask you to set one before your first deposit.
A "Sky Vegas Lite" iPhone app has appeared on a third-party app tracker, but it couldn't be verified on the UK App Store. Stick to the listing named above and check the seller name before installing.

The Sky Vegas app privacy label explained
Every App Store listing includes an App Privacy section that sorts data into three groups: data used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, data linked to your identity, and data not linked to you. The specific categories on the Sky Vegas listing weren't captured for this page, so read them on the listing before you install.
To give you a benchmark, here's what two other standalone casino apps declare. Casino apps typically collect financial and contact details because they must verify who you are and process payments, so the more telling line is whether anything is used to track you.
| Label section | Coral Casino | Ladbrokes Casino |
|---|---|---|
| Used to track you | User Content, Usage Data | No tracking category shown |
| Linked to you | Location (coarse), Contact Info, User Content, Search History, Usage Data, Financial Info, Identifiers | Financial Info, Contact Info, User Content, Search History, Identifiers, Usage Data |
| Not linked to you | Diagnostics | Location (precise), Diagnostics |
When you open the Sky Vegas listing, compare its tracking line with these. Our guide to reading a casino app privacy label explains each category, and the glossary defines the privacy label itself.
Apple's rules for real-money casino apps like Sky Vegas
Apple treats gambling as one of its most regulated categories. Under guideline 5.3.4 of the App Store Review Guidelines (opens in a new tab), real-money gaming apps must hold the right licences where they're used, must be geo-restricted to those places and must be free to download. Guideline 5.3.3 bans using in-app purchase to buy credit for real-money gaming, which is why deposits go through the casino's own cashier.
Apple also asks that apps in highly regulated fields such as gambling are submitted by the legal entity providing the service, not an individual developer. Its age rating definitions (opens in a new tab) put real-money gambling in the 18+ tier, which matches the Sky Vegas listing. More in our guide to Apple App Store rules for casino apps.
Games, payments and support in the Sky Vegas iPhone app
Sky Vegas hasn't published an official game count in the sources available to us, and third-party figures disagree: one review says 900+ games, another about 1,200 from 38+ studios. Third-party reviews describe slots, jackpots (mostly Jackpot King), live casino, table games and game shows, plus Sky Vegas-branded slots. If jackpots are your interest, see our list of apps with Jackpot King slots.
For payments, third-party reviews list Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Maestro, Apple Pay and Pay by Bank for deposits, with a reported £5 minimum. Apple Pay is handy on iPhone because you confirm with Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple says it doesn't charge for Apple Pay. Credit cards can't be used to gamble in Great Britain, including through a wallet. Our Apple Pay casino apps page explains more, and payout details are on the Sky Vegas app withdrawals page.
Support is reported as 24/7 live chat, starting with an AI chatbot that hands over to a human, plus email and social media. Third-party reviews also describe a deposit limit prompt at sign-up, reality checks, cool-off periods, self-exclusion and a profit and loss view. None of these details was confirmed on Sky Vegas's own help pages, so check them in the app.
Sky Vegas iPhone app welcome offer (checked 25 October 2026)
At the time of checking (25 October 2026), a third-party listing described the Sky Vegas welcome offer as "Get up to 250 free spins": 50 spins on registration with no deposit, plus 200 more after you deposit and stake £10 within 30 days. Debit card deposits only, spins expire 7 days after they're credited, and there's no wagering on spin winnings. 18+, terms apply.
That wording wasn't confirmed on the Sky Vegas site itself, and the source page carried conflicting update dates, so check the current terms in the app. We don't have a partnership with Sky Vegas and don't link to its offer. Nothing in the reported terms conflicts with the current UK rules: there's no wagering, and the 10x wagering cap from 19 January 2026 wouldn't be breached.
Who runs Sky Vegas: licence, owner and record
Sky Vegas now trades under Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, registered in Gibraltar, with a remote casino and remote bingo licence active from 18 November 2024. You can check the register entry for account 65519 (opens in a new tab). The previous licensee, Bonne Terre Limited (account 38718), surrendered its licence on 31 October 2025, which is why the App Store still showing "Bonne Terre Ltd" as provider can look slightly out of step with the register.
The brand belongs to Flutter Entertainment, which gained Sky Betting & Gaming through The Stars Group merger completed on 5 May 2020. On 9 March 2022 the Commission announced a £1.17m penalty against Bonne Terre Limited after a "Bet £5 get 100 free spins" Sky Vegas email went out on 2 November 2021 to about 41,395 self-excluded and 249,159 unsubscribed customers. Head-to-head comparisons are on Coral vs Sky Vegas and Ladbrokes vs Sky Vegas.

Frequently asked questions
What iOS version does the Sky Vegas app need?
The App Store listing says Sky Vegas: Casino Games needs iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 15.0 or later on iPad. That's lower than Coral's and Ladbrokes' casino apps, which list iOS 18.0 or later. Check your version in Settings, General, About. Our guide to which iOS version casino apps need explains what to do if your iPhone is older.
How big is the Sky Vegas app on iPhone?
Sky Vegas takes 155.7 MB, according to its App Store listing. That's about 54 MB more than the Coral (101.6 MB) and Ladbrokes (101.2 MB) casino apps. Apps can take up more space over time as they store data and updates, so leave some headroom. Our page on how much storage casino apps take explains how to check and free space.
Is the Sky Vegas app the same as Sky Bet?
No. Sky Vegas: Casino Games is a standalone casino app, while Sky Bet is a separate sports betting app. Sky Casino also has its own iPhone app. All three brands sit within the same group, and Sky Vegas and Sky Casino trade under the same licence, Bonne Terre Gaming Limited. See our Sky Vegas app review for the brand overview.
Is the Sky Vegas iPhone app safe to download?
Yes, provided you install the genuine listing, "Sky Vegas: Casino Games", sold by Sky Betting & Gaming. The brand is licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 65519, and Apple requires real-money gambling apps to be licensed, geo-restricted and free. Avoid unverified versions such as a "Sky Vegas Lite" listed on third-party trackers. Our guide are casino apps safe has a fuller checklist.
Does the Sky Vegas app work on iPad or Mac?
iPad is supported on iPadOS 15.0 or later, using the same app as iPhone. No Mac version is listed, so on a Mac you'd use the Sky Vegas website in a browser instead. Coral and Ladbrokes, by contrast, list compatibility with Macs that have an Apple M1 chip or later. See casino apps on iPad for set-up tips.
What does the Sky Vegas app privacy label show?
The specific categories on the Sky Vegas listing weren't captured for this page, so read the App Privacy section before installing. It splits data into what's used to track you, what's linked to you and what isn't. For comparison, Coral's casino app lists User Content and Usage Data under tracking, while Ladbrokes shows no tracking category. Each heading is explained in the glossary entry on the privacy label.
Can I use Apple Pay in the Sky Vegas app?
Third-party reviews list Apple Pay among Sky Vegas deposit and withdrawal methods, but this wasn't confirmed on Sky Vegas's own help pages, so check the cashier. Apple says it doesn't charge for Apple Pay, though your bank may for overseas use. Credit cards can't be used to gamble in Great Britain, even through Apple Pay. Read more on Apple Pay casino apps.
What is the Sky Vegas welcome offer on iPhone?
At the time of checking (25 October 2026), a third-party listing described it as up to 250 free spins: 50 on registration without a deposit and 200 after depositing and staking £10 within 30 days, debit card deposits only, spins expiring after 7 days and no wagering on spin winnings. 18+, terms apply. It wasn't confirmed on the operator's site. Compare offers in our casino apps with free spins list.
