Is the bet365 Android app on Google Play in the UK?

No UK Google Play listing for a bet365 app, combined or casino-only, could be confirmed as of 25 October 2026. On iPhone, a third-party index points to one combined app, bet365 - Sports Betting, that includes the casino, but it would be guesswork to assume the Android version is packaged the same way. Search the Play Store yourself with a UK account and check the details below.

Google Play's web listings no longer show a minimum Android version; your phone tells you if it's incompatible when you open the listing.

Which bet365 company should appear as the Android developer?

bet365 operates through several companies with Hillside in the name, which can look odd on a store listing. A developer line naming a Hillside company is consistent with the brand; one naming an individual or an unrelated firm is not. These are the entities found in the Gambling Commission register and app listings:

The Android developer name for the UK hasn't been confirmed, so use the table as a reference rather than a prediction. How Google vets UK gambling apps like bet365

A real-money app only reaches Google Play after the developer completes Google's gambling application form (opens in a new tab), one per market. It asks for the licensee's name and address, the licence type, number and dates, the issuing regulator and the app's package name, plus copies of the licences.

• An Adults Only rating and an 18+ notice in the app.
• A responsible gambling statement with local help resources.
• No install incentives in the store listing.
• Free to download, with no Google Play billing for deposits.
• Blocking of under-18s and of users outside the licensed area.

How to install the bet365 Android app safely

1. Make sure you're 18 or over and physically in Great Britain.
2. Open the Play Store on your phone, signed in with a UK Google account.
3. Search for bet365 and ignore tips, odds-comparison or results apps with similar names.
4. Open the listing and check the developer against the Hillside companies above, the adult rating and that it's free.
5. Read the Data safety section to see what's collected and shared.
6. Install, open the app and register or log in; complete age and ID checks before depositing.
7. Set your deposit limit at the prompt before your first deposit.

bet365 APK files: why a store install is safer

Whether bet365 offers an Android install file directly to UK players isn't confirmed. Third-party sites that host a bet365 APK can't prove it's the operator's file, and an altered app could capture your login, card details or ID documents. Two Android safeguards help. Since Android 8.0, Google's per-app install permission (opens in a new tab) means you have to approve a specific app, such as Chrome, before it can install others, and you can withdraw that approval at any time. Google Play Protect (opens in a new tab) checks apps from outside the store for harmful behaviour and may warn about, deactivate or remove them.

• Don't switch off Play Protect to get an install through.
• If a casino link arrives by text, email or social media, don't follow it to an install file.
• If you did grant a browser permission to install apps, revoke it afterwards in settings.
• Check the sideloading basics before going outside the store at all.

Google Pay and other payments in the bet365 Android app

Google Pay is the obvious wallet on Android, but the two affiliate pages that describe bet365's payments disagree: one lists it as accepted, the other says it isn't supported. bet365's own help pages weren't reached, so open the cashier and see. Sports betting and casino in one Android app

If bet365's Android app follows the iPhone pattern, casino will sit inside the sportsbook app. Partner apps show both approaches on Android. 10bet uses the same combined name on both stores, while Casumo has a casino-focused Android title even though its iPhone app is combined.

A combined app is convenient if you bet on sport and play casino, but it means more of the app is unrelated to casino, and mixed sports-and-casino promotions have been banned in Great Britain since 19 January 2026. Limits and blocks for bet365 on an Android phone

bet365's in-app safer-gambling tools weren't published in any source we could verify, but every GB-licensed operator must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit and take part in GAMSTOP. Android and your bank add layers outside the app.

bet365's UK licence and 2024 regulatory settlement

bet365 was set up in 2000 and remains privately owned by the Coates family, according to a 2015 report that put Denise Coates's holding at 50.2% and John Coates's at 25%. Its UK casino operation is licensed to Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC under a remote bingo and casino operating licence, account 55149, which you can check via our guide to remote gambling licences.

On 4 April 2024, the Commission published the outcome of a review of Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC that followed a March 2022 compliance assessment. The company agreed to pay £343,035 in lieu of a financial penalty, publish a public statement and cover the Commission's costs. The failings were in anti-money-laundering controls (licence conditions 12.1.1 and 12.1.2) from May 2021 to July 2022, and in customer interaction (social responsibility code 3.4.1) from October 2021 to September 2022.

Alternatives to bet365 on Android with a welcome offer

We don't have an offer with bet365. At the time of checking (25 October 2026), an affiliate page described its casino offer as spend £10, get up to 500 free spins: £10 in lifetime deposits within 30 days of registering, then up to 10 reveals within 20 days, 24 hours apart, each worth 5, 10, 20 or 50 spins, with no wagering on spin winnings and a 7-day expiry. It wasn't confirmed on bet365's site. 18+, terms apply.

For a confirmed UK Play Store listing, the Coral Android app and the Ladbrokes Android app are the closest alternatives: both are casino-only, rated PEGI 18, and their operator lists Google Pay with a £5 minimum deposit and withdrawal. Coral: 18+, new players, deposit and bet £10 or more on slots for 100 free spins on selected games at 10p each, accept within 48 hours, use within 7 days, no wagering on winnings; Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify.

Ladbrokes: 18+, new customers, deposit and spend £10 or more on slots for 50 free spins a day for 10 days, up to 500 at 10p each, claimed before 23:59 daily and valid for 7 days, no wagering; prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers don't qualify. Interestingly, the bet365 and Ladbrokes offers both reach 500 spins, but Ladbrokes sets a fixed 50 a day while bet365's reveals vary. Spins are for slots only and the house edge applies.
