Ladbrokes Casino app vs bet365 app

Ladbrokes Casino app vs bet365 app is really a choice between a dedicated casino download and one big betting app with a casino inside it. Ladbrokes publishes its casino app’s iPhone and Android details in full; bet365’s UK casino route runs through its main sports app, which isn’t confirmed on the UK store. Both advertise up to 500 spins, built very differently.

Key takeaways

  • Ladbrokes has a casino-only app: ‘Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots’ on iPhone, 101.2 MB, iOS 18.0 or later.
  • bet365’s casino appears to sit inside its main sports betting app in the UK; standalone bet365 Casino apps were found only on the US and Canadian stores.
  • Ladbrokes gives 50 spins a day for 10 days after £10 on slots; bet365’s reported deal uses up to 10 reveals worth 5 to 50 spins each.
  • Ladbrokes says it charges no withdrawal fees and publishes Visa Fast Funds timings; bet365’s payout times come from affiliate pages only.
  • bet365’s licence holder agreed a £343,035 payment in April 2024 over anti-money-laundering and customer interaction failures.

Ladbrokes Casino app vs bet365 app: the quick take

Pick Ladbrokes if you want a casino app that does one job and tells you exactly what it is before you download. Pick bet365 if you already bet on sport there and like having casino, games and poker in the same login. That’s the honest split, and the rest of this page fills in the numbers. Our full Ladbrokes Casino app review has the wider picture.

The weak point on bet365’s side is what can be checked. Its UK App Store page couldn’t be fetched, its Google Play page wasn’t found, and its payment and payout details come from affiliate pages rather than bet365’s own help centre. None of that means the app is poor, only that you should read the listing yourself. Our bet365 app review sets out what is known.

One app for everything or a casino-only download?

Entain splits Ladbrokes into separate apps. The App Store listing for the casino says it is separate from the Ladbrokes sportsbook app, filed under Casino, so the home screen opens on games rather than football odds. If you never bet on sport, that keeps the app focused and the storage spent on casino content.

bet365 takes the opposite approach in the UK. A third-party app index lists ‘bet365 - Sports Betting’ (seller Hillside (New Media) Limited) as the app that gives access to Casino, Games, Poker and Vegas products. Separate ‘bet365 Casino’ listings turned up only on the US and Canadian stores. Treat this as unverified for the UK until you see the listing on your phone.

The practical difference shows up in notifications and habits. An all-in-one app means sports and casino promotions can arrive through the same app, so it’s worth reviewing which notifications you allow. Our guide to turning off casino app notifications covers both iPhone and Android, and our list of standalone casino apps shows which brands keep casino separate.

Ladbrokes Casino app download details for iPhone and Android

On iPhone the app is called ‘Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots’, sold by Entain with Entain Operations Limited as provider. It needs iOS 18.0 or later, takes 101.2 MB and is rated 18+. It also runs on iPad, Macs with Apple M1 or later (as an iPad app that isn’t verified for macOS) and Apple Vision. You can see it on the Ladbrokes App Store listing (opens in a new tab).

On Android the word order flips: ‘Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games’, from developer Ladbrokes Mobile Development with LC International Limited as the contact entity, rated PEGI 18. The Ladbrokes Google Play listing (opens in a new tab) doesn’t show a minimum Android version on the web, so your phone will tell you if it’s compatible.

Privacy on each platform

The iOS privacy label shows no tracking category. Financial info, contact info, user content, search history, identifiers and usage data are linked to you, while precise location and diagnostics are collected but not linked. On Android, the Data safety section says personal info and app activity are both collected and shared, encrypted in transit, with deletion available on request.

bet365 app for iPhone and Android: what’s confirmed

Very little of bet365’s UK app listing could be confirmed. The UK App Store page wasn’t reachable, so the iOS requirement, size, category and age rating aren’t published here. The Google Play listing for Android wasn’t found either. What is known comes from a third-party app index describing the main sports app as the doorway to the casino.

Because a sports app carries in-play betting, streaming and the casino together, it’s reasonable to expect it to be a large download, but no size is published, so check the listing before you install. If storage is tight, our guide to casino app storage space explains how to free room.

When you do find the listing, look for Hillside in the seller line, an 18+ rating and the UK storefront. Our pages on the bet365 iPhone app and bet365 Android app cover what to check.

Ladbrokes vs bet365 bonus: two ways to reach 500 spins

Both brands headline ‘up to 500 free spins’, but one is a fixed daily drip and the other a run of reveals with varying prizes.

Ladbrokes: new customers aged 18+ deposit and spend £10 or more on slots, then get 50 free spins a day for the first 10 days, up to 500. Each spin is worth 10p on selected games, each day’s batch must be claimed before 23:59 and is valid for 7 days, and there’s no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don’t qualify. More on our Ladbrokes welcome bonus page.

bet365, at the time of checking (25 October 2026) and according to an affiliate page rather than bet365 itself: spend £10 in lifetime deposits within 30 days of registering, then get up to 10 reveals within 20 days, at least 24 hours apart. Each reveal gives 5, 10, 20 or 50 spins, there’s no wagering on spin winnings, and spins expire after 7 days. The spin value isn’t stated in that summary.

What the Ladbrokes spins are worth

If you claim all ten days, 500 spins at 10p have a face value of £50. Using an illustrative 96% RTP (check each game’s help screen), that averages out at about £48 of returns, paid as cash because there’s no wagering. The £10 qualifying stake costs about 40p on average at the same RTP. Miss a day’s claim and that 50-spin batch, worth £5 at face value, is gone. bet365’s value can’t be worked out without a confirmed spin value, and its total could land anywhere from 50 to 500 spins.

Both offers are for slots only. Blackjack, roulette and live tables don’t take free spins, and bonus terms often exclude them or count them for less. 18+, terms apply.

How the Ladbrokes daily spins work, step by step

A ten-day offer asks you to open the app each day, which is worth thinking about before you sign up. If daily prompts would push you to play more than you planned, a one-off offer may suit you better.

  1. Download the Ladbrokes Casino app from the App Store or Google Play and check the publisher is Entain or Ladbrokes Mobile Development.
  2. Register and complete age and identity checks, which UK rules require before you can deposit.
  3. Set a deposit limit when the app prompts you before your first deposit.
  4. Deposit with a qualifying method such as a debit card; avoid PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and prepaid cards for this offer.
  5. Spend £10 or more on slot games.
  6. Claim each day’s 50 spins before 23:59 and use them on the selected games within 7 days.

What an hour of slots costs in either app

Free spins end quickly; ordinary play is where most money goes. UK rules require at least 2.5 seconds per slot spin, so the fastest possible pace is 1,440 spins an hour. Expected loss is stake multiplied by house edge, and a 96% RTP slot has a 4% edge. These figures apply whichever app you use, because game maths doesn’t change between brands or between app and website.

Expected cost of an hour at the fastest legal pace, 96% RTP example
Stake per spinTotal staked in an hourExpected loss (4%)
10p£144£5.76
50p£720£28.80
£1£1,440£57.60
£2 (cap for ages 18–24)£2,880£115.20

Most people spin slower than the maximum, so real figures are usually lower, but short-term results swing widely around the average. Slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin for players 25 and over and £2 for ages 18–24, as set out in the Commission’s online slots stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab). Our house edge by game table shows how other games compare.

Ladbrokes vs bet365 deposits, withdrawals and fees

Ladbrokes’ help centre lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank (TrueLayer), Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard through an account. Fast Bank Transfer is withdrawal-only. £5 is the published minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank, each deposit is capped at £2,000, and you can have three active payment methods in a rolling 30 days.

Withdrawals go through internal approval, then take ‘instantly to five banking days depending on your method’. With Visa Fast Funds, approval typically takes a couple of hours and the money then typically arrives within four hours, with payouts above £2,000 taking longer, according to Ladbrokes’ Visa Fast Funds help page (opens in a new tab). Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days, and Ladbrokes says it charges no withdrawal fees.

bet365’s figures come from affiliate pages: deposits by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, Paysafecard, Trustly, Pay by Bank App and bank transfer, with Google Pay disputed between two pages. Withdrawal times quoted are 1–4 hours for cards and Trustly, instant for Apple Pay and up to 24 hours for PayPal and bank transfer, with no fees. bet365’s own help pages weren’t reached, so check the cashier.

Slots, live games and free-to-play extras

The Ladbrokes iPhone listing describes 1,800+ slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino including game shows. It also lists free-to-play games such as Instant Spins, a daily prize wheel and contests based on game shows and live roulette, plus LadBucks, a reward currency used on arcade games. A third-party review puts the whole lobby above 5,700 games. Browse it by type on our Ladbrokes games page.

bet365’s reported lobby, from an affiliate page, is over 3,100 games: about 2,700 slots, roughly 170 to 200 live tables, 100+ table and card games and 70+ crash and arcade titles. The live-table figure isn’t consistent on that page, and bet365’s own wording wasn’t found.

Neither brand’s game list is confirmed by its operator in full, so check the app’s game lobby for a specific title. If live dealer games matter most, our best live casino apps list compares the partner apps on that point.

Support and safer gambling tools

Ladbrokes’ email is support@ladbrokes.com. A third-party review says live chat is available 24/7 and that phone support exists, though hours aren’t published. bet365’s support channels and safer gambling tools weren’t found on its own pages, so this comparison can’t rate them.

The baseline is the same for both because UK rules require it: a prompt to set a financial limit before the first deposit, time-outs, self-exclusion, real-time net spend and session time on casino games, and GAMSTOP participation. Our Ladbrokes safer gambling tools page explains where to find them in the casino app, and taking a time-out in a casino app covers breaks in general.

Is bet365 safe? Licences, owners and enforcement

bet365’s casino is licensed through Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC, account 55149, which holds a remote bingo and casino operating licence and lists bet365.com as an active domain. A separate company, Hillside (Technology) Limited (38721), lists the bet365 trading name and has no recorded regulatory actions. bet365 was set up in 2000 by Denise Coates and remains privately owned by the Coates family; the last published ownership split dates from 2015.

On 4 April 2024, Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC agreed a £343,035 payment in lieu of a financial penalty, plus a public statement and costs. It followed a review that found anti-money-laundering failures between May 2021 and July 2022 and customer interaction failures between October 2021 and September 2022.

Ladbrokes is licensed through LC International Limited (account 54743), part of Entain, which also runs Coral; see the LC International register entry (opens in a new tab). Entain’s own enforcement history is covered on our page asking whether Ladbrokes is safe and legit.

Frequently asked questions

Does bet365 have a separate casino app in the UK?

Not as far as could be confirmed: in the UK, bet365’s casino appears to sit inside its main sports betting app. A third-party app index lists ‘bet365 - Sports Betting’ as giving access to Casino, Games, Poker and Vegas. Standalone ‘bet365 Casino’ apps showed up only on the US and Canadian stores. Check the UK listing on your phone. Our bet365 app review explains the details.

Is the Ladbrokes Casino app better than bet365?

For casino-only players, Ladbrokes is the clearer choice on published facts. It has a dedicated casino app with full store details, a fixed spin offer at 10p a spin with no wagering, and published no-fee withdrawals. bet365 suits people who already bet on sport there and want one app. Its UK app and payment details aren’t confirmed by the operator. See our Ladbrokes Casino app review for the full rating.

How many spins do you really get from bet365’s 500 spins offer?

Between 50 and 500, according to the affiliate page that describes it. After £10 in lifetime deposits within 30 days of registering, you get up to 10 reveals at least 24 hours apart within 20 days, each worth 5, 10, 20 or 50 spins. Ten reveals of 5 gives 50; ten of 50 gives 500. The spin value isn’t stated there. Compare spin deals on our casino apps with free spins page.

What happens if I miss a day of the Ladbrokes spins?

You lose that day’s batch of 50 spins. Each batch must be claimed before 23:59 on the day, and claimed spins last 7 days. Missing one day removes 50 spins worth £5 at face value but doesn’t affect the other days. There’s no need to log in every day if you don’t want to. Our Ladbrokes welcome bonus page lists all the key terms, including excluded payment methods. 18+, terms apply.

Which pays out faster, Ladbrokes or bet365?

Both quote quick card payouts, but only Ladbrokes publishes its timings on its own help pages. Ladbrokes says Visa Fast Funds approval typically takes a couple of hours, then payment typically reaches your bank within four hours; Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days. Affiliate pages quote bet365 cards and Trustly at 1–4 hours and Apple Pay as instant. See how long casino app withdrawals take for more.

Has bet365 been fined by the Gambling Commission?

Yes. On 4 April 2024, Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC, the company behind bet365’s UK casino, agreed a £343,035 payment in lieu of a financial penalty. The review found anti-money-laundering failures from May 2021 to July 2022 and customer interaction failures from October 2021 to September 2022. bet365 remains licensed. Our guide on how casino apps are licensed in the UK explains how enforcement works.

Can I use PayPal for the Ladbrokes welcome offer?

No, PayPal deposits don’t qualify for the Ladbrokes welcome spins. The same goes for prepaid cards, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers. You can still use PayPal for ordinary deposits and withdrawals, though withdrawing to PayPal needs a PayPal deposit in the last six months. A debit card is the usual route for the offer. See payment methods excluded from bonuses for why brands do this.

What iPhone do I need for the Ladbrokes Casino app?

You need an iPhone that runs iOS 18.0 or later. The app takes 101.2 MB and also runs on iPads with iPadOS 18.0, Macs with Apple M1 or later, and Apple Vision. If your phone can’t update to iOS 18, the mobile website is an alternative. Our Ladbrokes iPhone app page covers installation and the privacy label in more detail.
