Low deposit casino apps UK

Low deposit casino apps UK players can join start at £5: Coral and Ladbrokes publish that minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank. But the deposit is only one of three small-money hurdles. This page ranks our partner apps on the whole round trip: the smallest amount in, the cheapest way to qualify for an offer and the smallest amount you can take back out.

Key takeaways

  • Coral and Ladbrokes publish a £5 minimum deposit for Google Pay and Pay by Bank, and a £5 minimum withdrawal for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay.
  • Casumo sets £10 for every method but charges £3 on withdrawals under £10, so small cash-outs cost more there.
  • Every partner welcome offer needs £10 or more, so a £5 deposit buys play but no sign-up offer.
  • At 10p a spin, UK speed rules still let you stake up to £144 an hour, so a limit matters more than the minimum.

Low deposit casino apps UK: the quick answer

If you want to start small, Coral and Ladbrokes have the lowest published entry point among our partners: £5 by Google Pay or Pay by Bank. Casumo states £10 for all methods. PlayOJO and 10bet don't publish a general minimum, so the figure is whatever the cashier shows you.

A low deposit is only half the story. If the smallest withdrawal is high, or small cash-outs carry a fee, a cheap start can leave money stuck in the app. That's why this ranking looks at the whole loop, from first payment to the last pound you take back to your bank. For a wider view of every brand, see our full list of the best casino apps.

The three floors of a low deposit casino app

Every casino app has three separate minimums, and they rarely match. Think of them as floors you have to step over before small-stakes play makes sense.

  1. The deposit floor: the smallest payment the cashier accepts. It often depends on the payment method, not just the app.
  2. The offer floor: the smallest deposit or stake that triggers the welcome offer. For our partners that's £10 or £20.
  3. The withdrawal floor: the smallest amount you can cash out, plus any fee on small withdrawals.

Our guide to casino app minimum deposits goes method by method. Here we use those floors to decide which app wastes the least of a small budget.

How we ranked the best low deposit casino apps

We scored each app from its own help pages, terms and store listings, not from playing. Four things mattered most:

  • a published minimum deposit, and how many methods reach it;
  • a published minimum withdrawal, with no fee on small amounts;
  • the smallest spend that triggers the welcome offer, with its terms;
  • a UK licence and the usual tools for keeping a small budget small.

Apps that leave figures unpublished lose ground, because you can't plan a £5 or £10 budget around a number you only find at the cashier. The order below is our partner ranking, and each entry explains how it fits the low-deposit criterion.

Low deposit casino apps in the UK, ranked

1. Coral Casino: £5 in, £5 out, no fees

Coral's Google Pay help page (opens in a new tab) publishes a £5 minimum, as does its Pay by Bank page, and a £5 minimum withdrawal by Fast Bank Transfer or Google Pay. It also states that Coral doesn't charge withdrawal fees. That makes it the cleanest small-money loop among our partners. The dedicated app, Coral Casino: Slots & Games, needs iOS 18.0 or later and is 101.6 MB on the App Store.

The catch is the offer: you need to bet £10 on slots to get 100 free spins at 10p each, so £5 alone won't trigger it. Our Coral payments guide lists every method and limit.

2. Ladbrokes Casino: the same floors, a bigger spin offer

Ladbrokes runs on the same LC International Limited licence and help-centre rules as Coral: £5 in by Google Pay or Pay by Bank, £5 out by Fast Bank Transfer or Google Pay, and no withdrawal fees. Its casino app is 101.2 MB and also needs iOS 18.0.

It ranks second only because its offer asks more of you over time: up to 500 spins arrive as 50 a day for 10 days, each claimed before 23:59. Both brands belong to Entain, so you may not be able to open new accounts at both.

3. PlayOJO: tiny withdrawals, unpublished deposit minimum

PlayOJO's help page (opens in a new tab) says you can withdraw as little as you want, which is the best withdrawal floor here. It doesn't publish a general minimum deposit, and it warns that some deposit methods can take up to 3 working days to credit. Its welcome offer needs a £10 first deposit. The iOS app is just 25.4 MB and runs on iOS 15.0 or later.

4. Casumo: clear £10 rule, but a small-withdrawal fee

Casumo is the most transparent on deposits: £10 for every method. The trade-off sits at the other end. Its withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) charges £3 on withdrawals below £10, so cashing out £8 would leave you £5. Its welcome bonus needs £20, the highest offer floor in this list.

5. 10bet: little published for small budgets

10bet's help centre doesn't give a minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal or fee figure, so it's the hardest to plan around. It does publish payout times of up to 2 business days for cards and e-wallets. The app is a combined sportsbook and casino, 112.3 MB on iOS.

Both Entain brands also cap UK accounts at three active payment methods in a rolling 30 days, so pick your low-deposit method with care. Their paysafecard option works through a paysafecard account, not vouchers.

How far a small deposit goes in a casino app

A small deposit doesn't mean small spending. UK rules set a minimum of 2.5 seconds per slot spin, which still allows up to 24 spins a minute, or 1,440 an hour. The expected cost is the amount staked multiplied by the house edge. Here we use a slot with a 96% RTP (a 4% edge) as an illustration; check each game's help screen for its real figure.

Expected cost of an hour of non-stop slot play at a 4% house edge
Stake per spinStaked per hour (1,440 spins)Expected loss per hour
10p£144£5.76
20p£288£11.52
50p£720£28.80
£1£1,440£57.60

Those are averages over time. Real sessions swing widely, and a £5 balance can go in minutes or last a while. The point is simple: if you've chosen a low deposit app to keep spending down, a deposit limit does more for you than the cashier's minimum. Our page on low stakes casino apps covers the stake side.

How to make a low first deposit in a casino app

  1. Download the official app from the App Store or Google Play, checking the publisher name matches the casino's licence holder.
  2. Register and complete age and identity checks. UK apps must verify you before you can deposit or play.
  3. When the app asks for a financial limit ahead of your first payment, enter the small budget you planned rather than skipping it.
  4. Open the cashier and check the minimum shown next to each payment method.
  5. Pick a method that reaches the lowest figure, such as Google Pay or Pay by Bank at Coral or Ladbrokes, and remember you'll usually withdraw back to it.
  6. If you want the welcome offer, check its own minimum first, because a £5 deposit won't qualify for any partner offer.

Our first deposit guide walks through the cashier in more detail.

Other UK casino apps with low published minimums

These apps aren't part of our ranking and we have no offers with them, but their published figures show how the round trip varies. Where a figure comes from a third-party review rather than the operator, we say so.

What to avoid with low deposit casino apps

  • Unlicensed apps that advertise £1 deposits. If the operator isn't on the Gambling Commission's register, you have no UK protection. You can spot an unlicensed casino app in a couple of minutes.
  • Paying with a credit card. It's banned for gambling in Great Britain, including through e-wallets topped up by credit card.
  • Small withdrawals that trigger a fee. At Casumo, wait until your balance is £10 or more if you want to avoid the £3 charge.
  • Excluded methods. Several partner offers exclude e-wallets and prepaid cards, so a low deposit by those routes won't count. See payment method exclusions.

Keeping a low deposit low: limits and blocks

Since 31 October 2025, UK apps must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Use it. A £5 or £10 daily or weekly limit turns a low minimum into a real ceiling. The Gambling Commission explains the rules on its page about new deposit limit rules (opens in a new tab).

If small deposits keep adding up, your bank may let you block gambling payments, and GAMSTOP can exclude you from every UK-licensed app at once. Our budgeting for casino apps page has a simple plan, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open 24/7.

Welcome offers at our low deposit casino app picks

Each of the offers below needs more than the lowest deposit, so a £5 payment gets you real-money play but not a welcome offer. Each is limited to new customers aged 18+, with full terms on the operator's site.

  • Coral: deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10+ on slots for 100 free spins at 10p on selected games; accept within 48 hours, use within 7 days, no wagering on spin winnings. Offer period: 1 October 2026 until 1 February 2027.
  • Ladbrokes: deposit and spend £10+ on slots for 50 free spins a day for 10 days (up to 500), 10p each, claim before 23:59 daily, valid 7 days, no wagering.
  • PlayOJO: a first deposit of at least £10 brings 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, 10p each, with no wagering and cash winnings. Not available in Northern Ireland.
  • Casumo: 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of £20 or more; wager the bonus 10x within 7 days, £5 maximum bet, opt-in required.
  • 10bet: 100% bonus up to £25; choose it at sign-up, deposit within 7 days, wager 10x on slots within 3 days, maximum bonus winnings £1,000. Skrill and Neteller excluded.

Free spins and bonuses are slot offers, and table and live games are often excluded or count for less. The house edge still applies while you play, so treat any offer as extra entertainment, not a way to make money.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lowest deposit casino app in the UK?

Among our partners, Coral and Ladbrokes publish the lowest figure: £5 by Google Pay or Pay by Bank. Other methods may need more, and the cashier shows the exact minimum for each. Midnite also states £5 for all methods on its help centre. Very low figures such as £1 are rare at UK-licensed apps, so treat them with care. Our minimum deposit explainer compares more apps.

Can I get a welcome bonus with a £5 deposit?

No, not at any of our partners. Coral and Ladbrokes need £10 of slot bets, PlayOJO needs a £10 first deposit, Casumo needs £20 and 10bet asks you to deposit within 7 days of choosing its bonus. You can still play with £5, but you'd miss the sign-up offer. Our page on £10 deposit casino apps looks at the offer threshold.

Which casino app lets me withdraw the smallest amount?

PlayOJO's help page says you can withdraw as little as you want. Coral and Ladbrokes publish a £5 minimum for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay, with no withdrawal fees. Casumo doesn't publish a minimum but charges £3 on withdrawals under £10. Our withdrawal fees guide explains how fees work across apps.

Are low deposit casino apps safe?

They're as safe as any other app if the operator holds a Gambling Commission licence. The deposit size has nothing to do with safety. Check the licence holder on the Commission's public register and download only from the App Store or Google Play. Our guide to whether casino apps are safe covers the checks step by step.

Is a lower minimum deposit always better?

Not necessarily. A £5 minimum helps you try an app cheaply, but it doesn't limit how much you can spend afterwards. A high withdrawal minimum or a small-withdrawal fee can also cancel out the saving. What protects a small budget is a deposit limit you set yourself. Our walkthrough on setting deposit limits in a casino app takes a few minutes.

Why is the £5 minimum only for some payment methods?

Each payment route has its own costs and rules, so operators set minimums per method. The Coral and Ladbrokes help centres publish £5 only for Google Pay and Pay by Bank and say other minimums are shown in the cashier. Casumo is an exception, with £10 for all methods. Our Pay by Bank casino apps page explains that method.

Can I use a credit card for a small deposit?

No. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, whatever the amount. That includes e-wallets funded by a credit card. Use a debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank or another method the app lists. Our page on the credit card ban sets out the rule.

How long does a small withdrawal take?

The amount doesn't usually change the speed; the method does. Both Entain brands say Visa Fast Funds payouts are typically approved within a couple of hours and then take up to about 4 hours to reach the bank. 10bet says up to 2 business days for cards and e-wallets. Our fast withdrawal casino apps page compares more times.

Do low deposit casino apps have lower stakes too?

Not automatically. The minimum deposit and the minimum stake are separate settings, and each game sets its own stake range. Many slots start at 10p or 20p a spin, but check the game itself. UK slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds. See our slot stake limits page.
