The LeoVegas app for iPhone appears on the App Store as ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’, but only a Malta storefront listing could be found, and it wouldn’t load. So its UK availability, iOS requirement, size and privacy label weren’t verified at the time of checking. This page explains what’s known, how to check it yourself, and what to use if it isn’t there.
Key takeaways
- Name seen on the App Store: ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’, a casino-only app by its name.
- Only a Malta storefront listing was found; a UK App Store listing wasn’t confirmed.
- iOS version, size, seller and privacy label weren’t published in any source we could verify.
- LeoVegas Gaming PLC holds the UK licence (account 39198) and is owned by MGM Resorts International.

LeoVegas app for iPhone: what’s confirmed and what isn’t
LeoVegas is one of the bigger casino names in the UK, so it’s surprising how little of its iPhone app can be confirmed. The only App Store result found was a listing in the Malta storefront, under the name ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’ and the app ID 834294342. That page failed to load, and no UK storefront listing turned up.
| Detail | What’s known | Status |
|---|---|---|
| App name | LeoVegas: Real Money Casino | Seen in the Malta storefront only |
| UK App Store listing | Not found | Unverified |
| Seller | Not published | Check on the listing |
| Requires | Not published | Check on the listing |
| Size | Not published | Check on the listing |
| Category and age rating | Not published | Expect Casino and 18+ if listed |
| App type | Standalone casino, judging by the name | Not confirmed |
| Privacy label | Not published | Check on the listing |
We’d rather tell you that than guess. For the brand as a whole, including games, payments and its regulatory history, see our LeoVegas app review.
Is the LeoVegas app in the UK App Store?
It couldn’t be confirmed. App Store listings are country-specific, and a real-money gambling app only appears in a storefront where the operator has chosen to publish it and holds the right licence. Apple’s App Review Guidelines (opens in a new tab) say such apps must be licensed where they’re used, geo-restricted to those places, free to download and submitted by a legal entity.
So the Malta listing tells you LeoVegas has had an iOS app, but not whether the UK store carries it today. The quickest way to find out is to search on your own iPhone with a UK Apple Account.
- Check your Apple Account country: open Settings, tap your name, then Media & Purchases, then View Account, and look at Country/Region.
- Open the App Store and search for ‘LeoVegas’.
- If a result appears, open it and check the seller name before tapping Get.
- If nothing appears, check Screen Time isn’t limiting apps rated 18+.
- If it’s still missing, the app isn’t offered in your storefront; use the LeoVegas website in Safari instead.
Our explainer on why you can’t find a casino app in the App Store covers the other causes, and Apple’s App Store rules for casino apps explains what Apple demands of operators.
Checking the seller: LeoVegas Gaming PLC and MGM
If you do find a LeoVegas listing, the seller name is the first thing to check. LeoVegas’s UK licence is held by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, a Malta-registered company, under Gambling Commission account 39198 (opens in a new tab). It holds active remote casino (since 1 November 2014), bingo and general betting licences.
The same licence also covers BetMGM, BetUK, 21.co.uk, Pink Casino and Slot Boss. The register’s list of domains for account 39198 (opens in a new tab) shows leovegas.co.uk as active, while leovegas.com is inactive, which is a useful clue if a link sends you somewhere unexpected.
MGM Resorts International completed its takeover of LeoVegas in 2022 in a deal reported at $604m. A listing whose seller is an unrelated individual or company isn’t the real app, however convincing the logo looks. The warning signs are covered in fake casino apps and scams.
Standalone casino or combined app?
By its name, ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’ is a casino app rather than a sportsbook with casino attached. That would put it in the same group as the dedicated casino apps from Coral and Ladbrokes, and apart from combined apps such as kwiff.
There’s a caveat. LeoVegas Gaming PLC also holds a general betting licence, and no listing could be read to confirm what the app contains. Treat ‘standalone’ as likely rather than certain until you see the listing’s description and category.
Why it matters: a casino-only app keeps the lobby focused, and if you also bet on sport you’d keep those apps separate, which some people find easier to manage. Our list of standalone casino apps explains the trade-offs.
LeoVegas iPhone requirements and download size
Neither the iOS version nor the app size was published in any source that could be checked. For a sense of what to expect, here’s how two verified UK casino apps compare. These figures are for Coral and Ladbrokes, not LeoVegas.
| App | Requires | Size | Seller |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeoVegas: Real Money Casino | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Coral Casino: Slots & Games | iOS 18.0 or later | 101.6 MB | Entain |
| Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots | iOS 18.0 or later | 101.2 MB | Entain |
If the LeoVegas listing appears in your store, the Information section at the bottom shows the seller, size, category, compatibility and age rating. Compare them with your iPhone’s iOS version under Settings, General, About. If your phone falls short, which iOS version casino apps need explains your options.
LeoVegas app privacy label: what to look for
Apple requires every app to show an App Privacy section, filled in by the developer. Because LeoVegas’s UK listing couldn’t be read, its label isn’t known. If you find the listing, read it before you install.
- Data Used to Track You: data shared with other companies to target ads across apps and websites.
- Data Linked to You: data tied to your identity, which for a gambling app will usually include contact, financial and identifier details, because UK law requires ID checks.
- Data Not Linked to You: data such as diagnostics, collected without your identity attached.
- Location: casino apps need to confirm you’re in a licensed area, so expect some location data.
You can stop any app tracking you across other apps by turning off its permission under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. For a fuller walkthrough, see how to read a casino app privacy label and our definition of a privacy label.
Playing LeoVegas on iPhone without the app
If the app isn’t in your storefront, LeoVegas’s mobile website works in Safari. Your account, balance and safer-gambling settings are the same whichever way you log in. Adding the site to your Home Screen gives you a shortcut icon that opens it like an app.
- Open Safari and go to leovegas.co.uk, typing it rather than following an ad.
- Log in or register, and complete the age and identity checks.
- Tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
- Name the shortcut and tap Add.
- Use Safari’s saved passwords or Face ID autofill if you want quicker log-ins.
Our guides to adding a casino web app to your Home Screen and whether you need an app at all explain the differences.
LeoVegas games on iPhone
Third-party reviews describe a large lobby: over 4,000 casino games, more than 60 jackpot slots and over 200 live tables. Named exclusives include Gates of LeoVegas 1000, LeoVegas Cluster Gems, LeoVegas Megaways, LeoVegas-branded live blackjack and roulette, and the LeoJackpot. Live studios reported include Evolution, OnAir, Playtech Live and Pragmatic Play Live.
Those numbers aren’t from LeoVegas itself, so use the game lobby to check a specific title. On any UK app or site, slots are capped at £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18–24s, autoplay is banned and each spin takes at least 2.5 seconds. Table and other non-slot games must take at least 5 seconds a round. See best live casino apps and jackpot slot apps for how others compare.
Apple Pay and withdrawals at LeoVegas
Third-party reviews list debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Instant Bank Transfer for deposits. Reported withdrawal times are up to 3 business days for cards and mobile wallets, up to 5 business days for bank transfer, and ‘within as little as 20 minutes’ for PayPal. Fees weren’t published.
On an iPhone, Apple Pay is the most natural way to deposit, because it uses the debit card already in your Wallet. Credit cards aren’t allowed for gambling in Great Britain. More detail is on our LeoVegas withdrawals page.
Is LeoVegas safe on iPhone? Licence and fines
LeoVegas is licensed in Great Britain and still operating, so UK rules on ID checks, fair terms and complaints apply whether you use an app or Safari. Its record includes two Gambling Commission actions.
| Date | Amount | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 3 August 2022 | £1.32m penalty (trade press said £1.2m), with a warning and a third-party audit | Anti-money-laundering and social responsibility failures from October 2019 to October 2020, including customer-interaction and identification failures |
| 2 May 2018 | £627,000 in total: £600,000 in lieu of a penalty, £13,000 costs and a divestment | 41 misleading adverts and self-exclusion failures, including marketing to lapsed self-excluders |
Third-party reviews list deposit limits, spend, loss and wagering limits, time limits, reality checks, self-exclusion and a self-assessment tool. On the phone itself, Screen Time can block or limit gambling apps, and Face ID adds a layer of account protection, as our Face ID guide explains.
LeoVegas welcome offer at the time of checking
At the time of checking (25 October 2026), independent reviews described LeoVegas’s welcome offer as 50 free spins on Big Bass Splash for new players aged 18+. You had to opt in, deposit £10 or more within 7 days of registering and wager it once on eligible casino games within 7 days. The spins are worth 10p each and expire after 72 hours. Terms apply.
The offer is described as having no wagering, but its small print reportedly says ‘wagering contributions vary’, so read the terms in full before opting in. The offer wasn’t confirmed on LeoVegas’s own site. Face value at 10p a spin is £5.

Alternatives to LeoVegas on iPhone with a welcome offer
We don’t have an offer with LeoVegas. If a verified UK App Store listing matters, Coral and Ladbrokes both publish standalone casino apps for iPhone, separate from their sportsbooks. Both need iOS 18.0 or later and are around 101 MB, and both list Entain as seller. See the Coral iPhone app and Ladbrokes iPhone app pages, compare them in Coral vs Ladbrokes, or browse the best casino apps for iPhone.
New Coral players aged 18+ can get 100 free spins between 1 October 2026 and 1 February 2027 by depositing and betting £10 or more on slots. The spins are 10p each on selected games, must be accepted within 48 hours and expire after 7 days, and there’s no wagering on their winnings. Deposits through Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards or certain debit cards won’t count. Terms apply.
New Ladbrokes customers aged 18+ who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots get 50 free spins every day for their first 10 days, capped at 500. They’re worth 10p each on selected games, must be claimed before 23:59 daily, stay valid for 7 days and have no wagering. Prepaid card, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits are ruled out. Terms apply.
Both are run by LC International Limited (Entain), so one person may not be able to open new accounts at both. The spins can only be used on slots, and the house edge means losses are likely over time.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a LeoVegas app for iPhone in the UK?
It couldn’t be confirmed. A LeoVegas iPhone app called ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’ appeared in the Malta App Store, but no UK storefront listing was found at the time of checking. Search the App Store on your iPhone with a UK Apple Account to see if it’s offered to you. If it isn’t, use leovegas.co.uk in Safari. Our guide to downloading a casino app on iPhone has the steps.
What iOS version does the LeoVegas app need?
LeoVegas’s iOS requirement isn’t published in any source that could be verified, because the UK listing wasn’t found. If the app appears in your store, the Information section on the listing shows the minimum iOS version. For comparison, the Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps need iOS 18.0 or later. Read which iOS version casino apps need for more.
Why can’t I find the LeoVegas app on my iPhone?
You may not find the LeoVegas app because it isn’t offered in the UK App Store, your Apple Account is set to another country, or Screen Time is hiding 18+ apps. App Store listings are country-specific, and only a Malta listing was found during research. Check your account region first. See why you can’t find a casino app in the App Store.
Can I play LeoVegas on iPhone without the app?
Yes, you can play LeoVegas in Safari on your iPhone using leovegas.co.uk, the active UK domain on the Gambling Commission register. Your account and safer-gambling settings are the same as in any app. You can add the site to your Home Screen for quicker access. Our list of casino sites that work without an app covers this approach.
Who makes the LeoVegas app?
LeoVegas is run in the UK by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, registered in Malta and licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 39198. MGM Resorts International completed its takeover of LeoVegas in 2022. The seller name on the App Store listing wasn’t available to check, so match it against the licensee before installing. The reason is explained in how casino apps are licensed.
Is the LeoVegas iPhone app a standalone casino app?
Probably, judging by its name, ‘LeoVegas: Real Money Casino’, but it couldn’t be confirmed because the listing didn’t load. LeoVegas Gaming PLC also holds a general betting licence, so check the listing’s description and category if you find it. If you want a verified casino-only app, see our standalone casino apps list.
Is LeoVegas safe to use on iPhone?
LeoVegas is UK-licensed, so your account is protected by Gambling Commission rules on ID checks, fair terms and complaints. It has been sanctioned twice: £627,000 in 2018 over misleading adverts and self-exclusion failures, and £1.32m in 2022 over anti-money-laundering and social responsibility failures. Only install an app whose seller matches the licensee. Our casino app safety guide has a fuller checklist.
Can I use Apple Pay at LeoVegas?
Yes, independent reviews list Apple Pay as a LeoVegas deposit method, alongside debit cards, Google Pay, PayPal and Instant Bank Transfer. Card and mobile wallet withdrawals are reported to take up to 3 business days. Check the cashier on your account to confirm what’s available. See which casino apps accept Apple Pay for other options.
