Is the Midnite iOS app a standalone casino app?
No. Midnite started as a sportsbook in 2018 and added its casino in 2023, and the iPhone app reflects that history. One download holds sports betting, the casino, bingo and Slingo, and the App Store files it under Sports rather than Casino. No separate Midnite casino, bingo or poker app could be found.
A combined app has upsides: one login, one balance and one set of limits across everything. The trade-offs are a larger download and an interface built around sport as well as games. If you only want slots and live tables, a standalone casino app keeps things simpler; our comparison of standalone vs sportsbook apps goes through the differences.
Since 19 January 2026, UK operators can't run promotions that require you to mix products, such as betting on football to get casino spins. That applies to combined apps like Midnite's as much as anyone.
Midnite iPhone requirements: iOS 16 and iPad support
The Midnite app needs iOS 16.0 or later. That's a lower bar than the Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps, which both ask for iOS 18.0, so Midnite may install on an older iPhone that can't run those two. The listing also supports iPad on iPadOS 16.0 or later and Apple Vision on visionOS 1.0 or later, but it doesn't list Mac.
How to check your iPhone's iOS version
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap General, then About.
- Look at the iOS Version line; it needs to read 16.0 or higher.
- If it's lower, go to General then Software Update to see whether a newer version is available for your phone.
Our guides on which iOS version casino apps need and casino apps on older phones explain what to do if your phone can't update. iPad owners can also read casino apps on iPad.
Midnite app download size: 168 MB
At 168 MB, the Midnite app is about 66 MB bigger than the Coral Casino iPhone app (101.6 MB) and the Ladbrokes Casino app (101.2 MB). Much of that difference is likely the sportsbook sharing the same package, though the listing doesn't break the size down.
| App | Size | Requires | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Midnite: Sports & Casino | 168 MB | iOS 16.0 | Sports and casino combined |
| Coral Casino: Slots & Games | 101.6 MB | iOS 18.0 | Standalone casino |
| Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots | 101.2 MB | iOS 18.0 | Standalone casino |
The listed size is the download. Apps often grow once installed, as they store data and cached images, so leave some spare room. Our page on casino app storage space has tips for freeing space.
Reading the Midnite app privacy label
Every App Store listing has an App Privacy section showing what data the app collects and whether it's linked to you or used to track you across other companies' apps. We haven't recorded the detail of Midnite's label, so read it on the listing yourself before you install. Expect a regulated gambling app to collect contact details, identifiers and financial information, because UK rules require identity checks and payment records.
- Data used to track you: shared with other companies for advertising. You can refuse tracking when the app asks.
- Data linked to you: tied to your account, such as your name, payments and usage.
- Data not linked to you: collected without your identity, such as crash diagnostics.
Our guide on how to read a casino app privacy label explains each category, and the glossary entry for privacy label gives a short definition.
How to download the Midnite app on iPhone
Apple only allows real-money gambling apps that are licensed and geo-restricted to the places they're used, and they must be offered at no charge. Under Apple's App Review Guidelines (opens in a new tab), apps in regulated fields such as gambling should also be submitted by the legal entity providing the service, so the seller name is worth checking.
- Open the App Store on your iPhone, signed in with a UK Apple Account.
- Search for "Midnite" and open "Midnite: Sports & Casino".
- Check that the seller is Dribble Media Limited and the age rating is 18+.
- Read the App Privacy section and the compatibility information.
- Tap Get, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your password, and wait for the 168 MB download.
- Open the app, register or log in, and complete identity checks before you deposit.
Apple's age rating definitions (opens in a new tab) class real-money betting as "Gambling", which sits under the 18+ rating. Our general guide to downloading a casino app on iPhone covers common problems, such as the app not appearing in search.
Who runs Midnite? Licence and company
The App Store seller and the Gambling Commission register both name Dribble Media Limited, account 42647, with its head office in London. Its remote licence covers casino (from 15 May 2023), bingo (from 10 July 2024), general betting, pool betting and gambling software.
No parent group was found. Trade press describes Midnite as a venture-funded UK operator, and a $35m Series C round led by The Raine Group was reported on 15 January 2026. Founded by Nick Wright and Daniel Qu, it launched as a sportsbook in 2018.
Midnite's help-centre terms name a different company, Midnite Limited in Gibraltar, with its own licence numbers. The register, the App Store and trade press all point to Dribble Media Limited, so the terms may be out of date. Search the Gambling Commission's public register (opens in a new tab) for the current licence holder before you deposit.
Midnite casino games on iPhone
The App Store listing promises "1,000s of slots and casino games", and a third-party review puts the total at more than 1,900. Reported sections include Jackpot King slots (25+), over 80 live tables, more than 40 Slingo games, bingo and table games, with Midnite-branded live blackjack and roulette. Live games are reported to come from Evolution and Pragmatic Play.
UK design rules apply on any iPhone: no autoplay, at least 2.5 seconds per slot spin and stakes capped at £5 a spin for over-25s or £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds. Our slot stake limits page has the details. RTP isn't lower in an app by default; check the game's help screen for the version you're playing.
Apple Pay and payments in the Midnite iPhone app
Midnite's payments page lists Visa and Mastercard debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay By Bank and Revolut Pay, each with a £5 minimum and £5,000 maximum. Only one payment method can be active at a time, and Midnite says it doesn't charge for debit card deposits.
Apple Pay withdrawals are listed at up to 72 hours. Full payout details are on our Midnite withdrawals page.
Safer gambling on the Midnite app and iPhone
Midnite's terms list deposit limits, daily, weekly or monthly loss limits, a cool-off of 1 to 30 days, self-exclusion for 6 months or 1, 2 or 5 years, and GAMSTOP. Reality checks aren't mentioned in the terms, although a third-party review lists them.
On iPhone, Apple's Content and Privacy Restrictions (opens in a new tab) can block app installs, and our guide to blocking gambling apps on iPhone shows how to use Screen Time for yourself. Gambling should be entertainment that costs money; if it stops feeling that way, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.
Is the Midnite app safe? Regulatory record
No Gambling Commission enforcement action is recorded on the public register against Dribble Media Limited. Separately, on 16 September 2026 the Advertising Standards Authority upheld a ruling against an affiliate's TikTok ad promoting Midnite because it featured a person who appeared to be under 25. That was an advertising ruling, not a Commission action.
Midnite app welcome offer at the time of checking
At the time of checking (25 October 2026), a third-party review listed Midnite's casino welcome offer as 100 free spins on Big Bass Splash, worth 10p each (£10 in total), with no wagering on winnings and 7 days to use them once credited. The qualifying stake was given as £20 on selected slots, but that wording couldn't be confirmed. 18+ and terms apply; check the current terms in the app.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Midnite app for iPhone?
Yes. The UK App Store lists "Midnite: Sports & Casino", sold by Dribble Media Limited and rated 18+. It's one app for sports betting and the casino, needs iOS 16.0 or later and is a 168 MB download. It also runs on iPad and Apple Vision, but Mac isn't listed. Our Midnite app review covers games, payments and support in more depth.
What iOS version does the Midnite app need?
The Midnite app needs iOS 16.0 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 16.0 or later on iPad and visionOS 1.0 or later on Apple Vision. That's a lower requirement than the Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps, which both need iOS 18.0, so Midnite may suit an older iPhone. Check your version under Settings, General, About. Our guide to which iOS version casino apps need explains more.
How big is the Midnite app on iPhone?
The App Store lists the Midnite app at 168 MB. That's around 66 MB more than the Coral Casino app (101.6 MB) and the Ladbrokes Casino app (101.2 MB), most likely because Midnite packs its sportsbook and casino into one download. Installed apps usually grow as they store data, so leave some spare room. Our page on how much storage casino apps take has more.
Does Midnite have a separate casino app?
No separate Midnite casino app could be found. The single iPhone app, "Midnite: Sports & Casino", covers sports betting, the casino, bingo and Slingo, and it's listed in the App Store's Sports category. That gives you one login and balance, but a bigger download. If you want a casino-only app, see our list of standalone casino apps for alternatives.
Who owns the Midnite app?
The App Store seller is Dribble Media Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 42647 and has its head office in London. No parent group was found; trade press describes Midnite as venture-funded, with a $35m Series C led by The Raine Group reported in January 2026. Midnite's help-centre terms name a different company, so check the register. Our guide on how to know a casino app is licensed explains how.
Can I use Apple Pay in the Midnite app?
Yes. Apple Pay is on Midnite's published list of payment methods, alongside debit cards, Google Pay, Pay By Bank and Revolut Pay. Deposits start at £5, the maximum is £5,000, and Apple Pay withdrawals are listed at up to 72 hours. Only one payment method can be active at a time. Our Apple Pay casino apps page explains how Apple Pay works with casino accounts.
Does the Midnite app work on iPad or Mac?
The listing supports iPad on iPadOS 16.0 or later and Apple Vision on visionOS 1.0 or later, but Mac isn't listed, so you'd use the website in a browser on a Mac instead. By contrast, the Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps are listed for Macs with Apple M1 or later chips, as iPad apps. Our casino apps on iPad page covers tablet play in more detail.
Is the Midnite app safe to download?
It's a UK-licensed app sold in the App Store by Dribble Media Limited, which has no Gambling Commission enforcement action on record. Apple requires real-money gambling apps to be licensed and geo-restricted. The one thing to watch is that Midnite's help-centre terms name a different licence holder, so check the register before depositing. Our guide are casino apps safe lists other checks worth making.
