Casumo app vs Sky Vegas app

Casumo app vs Sky Vegas app comes down to what you want on your phone: one 52.5 MB download that holds casino and sport, or a 155.7 MB app built only for casino games. Both need iOS 15.0. Casumo publishes more about its payouts; Sky Vegas leans on spin offers and its own Jackpot King-heavy lobby.

Key takeaways

  • Casumo’s iPhone app is about a third of the size of Sky Vegas’ (52.5 MB vs 155.7 MB); both need iOS 15.0 or later.
  • Casumo gives a 50% match up to £100 (min £20, 10x in 7 days); Sky Vegas’ reported offer is spin-based with no wagering on spin winnings.
  • Casumo publishes instant e-wallet payouts after approval and a £3 fee under £10; Sky Vegas’ payout times come from third-party reviews only.
  • Sky Vegas moved to a new licence holder, Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, and its former licensee was fined £1.17m in 2022.

Casumo app vs Sky Vegas app: the short answer

Pick the Casumo app if you want a light download, a matched deposit bonus with a clear 10x cap and published payout times by payment method. Pick the Sky Vegas app if you only want casino games on your phone and you like spin-based offers and Jackpot King slots.

Neither choice changes the odds. The games inside both apps carry a house edge, so over time you should expect to lose more than you win. Treat any spend as the price of entertainment, and set a limit before you start.

For other head-to-heads, the casino app comparisons hub lists every pairing we cover, including Coral vs Sky Vegas and Casumo vs bet365.

All-in-one or casino-only: what each download contains

On iPhone, Casumo publishes a single app called Casumo Casino & Sports Betting. It sits in the App Store’s Casino category, but the same download includes the sportsbook. On Google Play the title changes to Casumo - Live Casino & Slots, which puts the casino side first.

Sky Vegas takes the opposite approach. Its App Store listing, Sky Vegas: Casino Games, is a standalone casino app, and Sky Bet is a separate sports app. If you only ever play slots and table games, a casino-only app means fewer sports menus to scroll past. If you bet on football too, Casumo keeps both in one account and one icon.

Mixing products in one app isn’t a problem in itself, but since 19 January 2026 UK operators can’t run promotions that require you to use more than one product to qualify. Our explainer on the mixed-product bonus ban covers what changed, and what a standalone casino app is explains the trade-off.

Casumo vs Sky Vegas app download: storage, iOS and devices

Both App Store listings ask for iOS 15.0 or later, so any iPhone that runs iOS 15 can install either. The gap is storage. Sky Vegas needs about 103 MB more than Casumo (155.7 − 52.5 = 103.2 MB), roughly three times the space before any game assets download.

On Android, Casumo’s Google Play listing is published by Casumo Services Limited with a PEGI 18 rating. Sky Vegas is on Android too, according to third-party reviews, but we couldn’t confirm its Google Play listing, so search the store carefully and check the developer name before installing. Our guides to Casumo on Android and Sky Vegas on Android go into more detail.

Sky Vegas vs Casumo bonus: your first £20 in pounds

Casumo’s welcome offer is a 50% bonus up to £100 on the first deposit for new customers aged 18+. You opt in, deposit at least £20, then wager the bonus 10x within 7 days, with a £5 maximum bet while it’s active. Game, play and payment restrictions apply.

At the time of checking (25 October 2026), a third-party site described the Sky Vegas offer as up to 250 free spins: 50 spins when you register, with no deposit needed, plus 200 more after you deposit and stake £10 within 30 days. Its reported terms say debit card deposits only, spins expire 7 days after they’re credited and spin winnings carry no wagering. We couldn’t confirm this on Sky Vegas’ own site, and the spin value wasn’t stated in what we saw.

Casumo bonus at different deposits (96% RTP slot, 18+, terms apply)
First depositBonusWagering needed (10x)Average cost of wageringDays to wager
£20£10£100£47
£40£20£200£87
£100£50£500£207
£200£100£1,000£407

The cost column uses standard game maths: amount wagered × house edge. A 96% RTP slot has a 4% edge, so £100 of wagering costs £4 on average. A £20 deposit therefore adds a £10 bonus that you’d expect to wear down to about £6 by the time it’s cleared, though real sessions swing far above and below that.

A spin bundle works differently. Each spin is a fixed stake on a set game, and what you keep is whatever the spins return. As an illustration only, if each spin were worth 10p, 250 spins would be £25 of stakes, and at a 96% RTP the average return would be about £24. Check the real spin value and eligible games in the Sky Vegas terms before you compare.

Neither offer is designed for blackjack, roulette or live dealer games. Those are usually excluded or count for less towards wagering, so check the terms. For the sums, read how wagering works in casino apps.

Beyond the welcome offer: Reel Races, the Adventure and branded slots

Casumo’s App Store listing names several features you won’t find described in most casino app listings. Reel Races are slot tournaments with real-time updates in the app. The Adventure and Trophy Collection add a levelling avatar and rewards. Our explainer on what a slot race on Casumo is covers how they work.

Sky Vegas’ draw is its lobby. Third-party reviews describe slots, Jackpot King jackpots, live casino, table games and game shows, plus Sky Vegas-branded slots such as Big Bass All-In, Gold Blitz and Fortune Hotel. Game counts in those reviews conflict (900+ in one, about 1,200 in another), and Sky Vegas’ own figure wasn’t found. Casumo’s homepage quotes 6,000+ games.

Tournaments and levels are designed to hold your attention, so decide in advance how long you’ll play. If you’re interested in progressive jackpots, read what Jackpot King is first: the extra jackpot contribution usually comes out of the base game’s return.

Casumo vs Sky Vegas withdrawal times and payment methods

Casumo publishes its cashier rules on its own pages. The minimum deposit is £10 for every method, and its FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking. Withdrawals are said to be reviewed within a matter of hours, and its withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) says each request is approved or denied within 3 days.

Sky Vegas’ payment details here come from third-party reviews, because operator help pages weren’t reached. They name Visa and Mastercard debit, Maestro, Apple Pay and Pay by Bank for deposits, with a £5 minimum.

Withdrawing from either app

  1. Finish identity checks before you request a payout, so the review isn’t held up.
  2. Open the cashier and choose withdraw.
  3. Pick the method you deposited with; most operators send money back the way it came.
  4. At Casumo, withdraw £10 or more to avoid the £3 small-withdrawal fee.
  5. Note the date and amount, then check your transaction history if it hasn’t arrived within the published time.

Credit cards can’t be used to gamble in Great Britain, so neither app will take one. See how long casino app withdrawals take and our Casumo withdrawals page for more.

Getting help: Casumo email hours vs Sky Vegas chat

Casumo lists email support at hey@casumo.com, with UK support hours of 7:00 to 23:00. Its pages don’t publish live chat or a phone number, so check the help section inside the app for the current contact options.

According to third-party reviews, Sky Vegas offers 24/7 live chat, starting with an AI chatbot that hands you to a human agent, plus email at support@skyvegas.com and social media. If round-the-clock chat matters to you, that’s a point to Sky Vegas, though we couldn’t check it on the operator’s own pages. For what to expect from app chat, see live chat in casino apps.

Is Sky Vegas safe? Its licence move and the 2022 fine

Both apps are licensed by the Gambling Commission. Casumo is run by Recro Limited, whose register entry for account 61549 (opens in a new tab) shows a remote casino licence active since 21 December 2023.

Sky Vegas changed licence holder recently. It now trades under Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, based in Gibraltar, whose register entry for account 65519 (opens in a new tab) shows remote casino and bingo licences from 18 November 2024. The former licensee, Bonne Terre Limited (account 38718, Leeds), surrendered its licence activities on 31 October 2025. The App Store listing still names Bonne Terre Ltd as provider. Sky Betting & Gaming has been part of Flutter Entertainment since May 2020.

On 9 March 2022 the Commission announced a £1.17m fine against Bonne Terre Limited, trading as Sky Betting and Gaming. A Sky Vegas “Bet £5 get 100 free spins” email was sent on 2 November 2021 to about 41,395 self-excluded customers and 249,159 who had unsubscribed from marketing. The register’s actions page for the old account shows no actions, even though the Commission’s own news item records the fine.

We know of no published Commission enforcement against Recro Limited. A clean record is good to see, but it isn’t proof of anything on its own. Our guide to how casino apps are licensed in the UK shows how to read a register entry.

Limits and breaks in the Casumo and Sky Vegas apps

All UK-licensed apps must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and since 31 October 2025 they must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Third-party reviews say Sky Vegas adds reality checks, cool-off periods and a profit and loss view. Casumo’s specific tool list isn’t published in the sources we used, so look for the deposit limit option in your account settings.

  1. Before you deposit, decide a monthly amount you can afford to lose.
  2. Set that as a deposit limit when the app prompts you, or later in your account settings.
  3. Turn on reality checks if the app offers them, so you see how long you’ve played.
  4. Use a time-out if you want a short break, or GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) to block every UK-licensed site and app at once.

On an iPhone you can also hide or limit gambling apps with Screen Time. If gambling stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, 24 hours a day.

Our editorial score for Casumo is 4.2/5, built from published facts. We don’t score Sky Vegas because we don’t review non-partner apps on the same basis. For a wider view, see the best real money casino apps.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Casumo app better than the Sky Vegas app?

Neither is better for everyone; it depends on how you play. Casumo is the smaller download at 52.5 MB, covers casino and sport in one app and publishes its payout times and fees. Sky Vegas is a casino-only app at 155.7 MB with a spin-based welcome offer and a Jackpot King-heavy lobby, according to third-party reviews. Compare both on our casino app comparisons hub, or read the full Sky Vegas app review.

Do Casumo and Sky Vegas work on the same iPhones?

Yes, both App Store listings ask for iOS 15.0 or later, so any iPhone that runs iOS 15 can install either. Storage is the bigger difference: Sky Vegas needs about 103 MB more. Casumo’s listing also names Mac with Apple silicon and Apple Vision support, which Sky Vegas’ doesn’t. Read which iOS version casino apps need to see how to check your phone’s version in Settings.

Does Sky Vegas have a no-deposit offer?

At the time of checking (25 October 2026), a third-party site said Sky Vegas gave 50 spins on registration without a deposit, plus 200 after depositing and staking £10 within 30 days. Debit card deposits only, spins expire after 7 days and spin winnings carry no wagering, it said. We couldn’t confirm this on Sky Vegas’ own site. 18+ and terms apply. Casumo has no no-deposit offer; see Casumo’s welcome bonus for its match.

How much do I need to wager for the Casumo bonus?

You wager the bonus 10 times within 7 days. A £20 deposit brings a £10 bonus and £100 of wagering; the maximum £100 bonus, from a £200 deposit, needs £1,000. On a 96% RTP slot, the average cost of that wagering is 4% of the amount staked. The £5 maximum bet applies while the bonus is active. Our page on the UK 10x wagering cap explains the rule behind the limit.

Who owns Sky Vegas now?

Sky Vegas is part of Flutter Entertainment, which took over Sky Betting & Gaming when its merger with The Stars Group completed in May 2020. The licence holder is now Bonne Terre Gaming Limited in Gibraltar, Gambling Commission account 65519. The former licensee, Bonne Terre Limited, surrendered its licences on 31 October 2025. You can check this yourself: how to know a casino app is licensed walks through it.

Why was Sky Betting and Gaming fined £1.17m?

The fine, announced on 9 March 2022, was for marketing to people who shouldn’t have received it. A Sky Vegas “Bet £5 get 100 free spins” email went out on 2 November 2021 to about 41,395 self-excluded customers and 249,159 who had unsubscribed. The Commission found breaches of its self-exclusion and marketing codes. Our page on gambling marketing consent rules explains what operators must do now.

Which app pays out faster, Casumo or Sky Vegas?

It depends on the method, and the two sets of figures come from different kinds of sources. Casumo says e-wallets and Apple Pay are instant after approval, cards take up to 2 days and bank transfers up to 5. Reviewers report Sky Vegas paying by Pay by Bank instantly and fast card payouts in 1 to 4 hours. See which casino app pays out fastest for the wider picture.

Can I phone Casumo or Sky Vegas?

Neither operator publishes a phone number in the sources we used. Casumo lists email at hey@casumo.com with UK support hours of 7:00 to 23:00. Third-party reviews say Sky Vegas has 24/7 live chat that starts with a chatbot, plus email and social media. Check the help section in each app for current options, and see our Casumo customer support page for details.
