Ladbrokes Casino app vs William Hill Vegas app

Ladbrokes Casino app vs William Hill Vegas app is a contrast between a casino app whose details are public and one that is far harder to pin down. Ladbrokes publishes its iPhone and Android listings, cashier and payout times; William Hill Vegas’ store listings, payments and support aren’t confirmed. On offers, Ladbrokes’ spins carry no wagering, while the reported Vegas spins do.

Key takeaways

  • Ladbrokes’ casino app is confirmed on both stores: iOS 18.0 or later and 101.2 MB on iPhone.
  • William Hill Vegas has its own casino app according to third-party reports, refreshed on 3 October 2025, but its UK store details aren’t confirmed.
  • Ladbrokes’ up to 500 spins have no wagering; the reported William Hill Vegas offer of 200 spins has 10x wagering on winnings and a £30 cap.
  • Evoke plc owns the Vegas brand and also 888casino; Ladbrokes belongs to Entain alongside Coral.
  • William Hill group companies paid a record £19.2m in March 2023 for social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures.

Ladbrokes Casino app vs William Hill Vegas app: bottom line

Choose Ladbrokes if you value being able to check an app before you install it and want welcome spins you can cash out without playing them through. The Vegas brand has a long history and a refreshed app, but too little of it can be verified for us to recommend it over Ladbrokes on facts.

That isn’t a judgement on William Hill Vegas’ quality. It reflects what is published. For the Ladbrokes side in full, read our Ladbrokes Casino app review; for what is known about the other app, see our William Hill Vegas app review. Other pairings are on our casino app comparisons hub.

Ladbrokes Casino app on iPhone and Android

On iPhone, ‘Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots’ is sold by Entain, sits in the Casino category, is rated 18+ and needs iOS 18.0 or later. At 101.2 MB it’s a mid-sized download, and it also runs on iPad, Apple M1 Macs and Apple Vision. It’s a separate app from the Ladbrokes sportsbook, so you get the casino without the betting markets.

Android users should search for ‘Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games’, the slightly different Google Play title. The developer is Ladbrokes Mobile Development with LC International Limited as contact entity, and the rating is PEGI 18. The Ladbrokes Google Play listing (opens in a new tab) says personal info and app activity are collected and shared, encrypted in transit, with deletion on request.

The iOS privacy label lists no tracking. Data linked to you covers financial info, contact info, user content, search history, identifiers and usage data, and precise location is collected without being linked to you. Install steps are on our Ladbrokes iPhone app page, and our guide to app permissions explains what to allow.

William Hill Vegas app download: what is reported

Third-party sources say William Hill Vegas has its own casino app on both the App Store and Google Play, separate from the main William Hill sports app published by WHG (International) Limited. Trade press reported a refresh of the Vegas app and website on 3 October 2025, mentioning slots, jackpot features, live casino titles and daily free-to-play games.

What isn’t known is just as important: the seller name, iOS requirement, size, age rating and privacy label for the UK listing weren’t confirmed. When you find it, check the seller line names a William Hill or WHG company and the rating is 18+. Our pages on the William Hill Vegas iPhone app and William Hill Vegas Android app explain the checks.

William Hill Vegas vs Ladbrokes welcome bonus: wagering makes the difference

Ladbrokes: new customers aged 18+ who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots get 50 free spins a day for the first 10 days, a maximum of 500, at 10p each on selected games. Claim each batch before 23:59 and use it within 7 days. There’s no wagering on winnings, and no promo code is needed. Deposits by prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers don’t qualify. See the Ladbrokes welcome bonus page for detail.

William Hill Vegas, at the time of checking (25 October 2026) and taken from a third-party article marked as an ad: 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash when you deposit and stake £10, using a code. The £10 must be deposited and staked from your main balance within 7 days of opting in, spins are 10p, winnings must be wagered 10x on the same game, the maximum win is £30, e-wallet deposits are excluded and the offer ends on 31 December 2026. The article gives two different codes and two different spin expiries (72 hours and 24 hours), so check the operator’s terms.

Worked example in pounds

Take an illustrative 96% RTP for both games; the real figure is on each slot’s help screen. Ladbrokes’ 500 spins at 10p are £50 of spins, averaging about £48 back as cash. William Hill Vegas’ 200 spins at 10p are £20 of spins, averaging about £19.20 in winnings, but those winnings then need 10x wagering: about £192 of further play on Big Bass Splash. At a 4% edge that play has an expected cost of about £7.68, leaving roughly £11.52 on average, and anything over £30 is lost to the cap.

The wagering cap introduced on 19 January 2026 limits bonus wagering to 10x, so the Vegas offer is at the legal ceiling. The Commission explains the change in its announcement on safer, simpler promotions (opens in a new tab).

How to work out what any spin offer is worth

The same method works for any spin deal, whether it comes from Ladbrokes, William Hill Vegas or another app. You only need the terms and a calculator.

  1. Multiply the number of spins by the spin value to get the face value; for example, 200 x 10p = £20.
  2. Find the slot’s RTP on its help screen and multiply the face value by it to get average winnings.
  3. If winnings carry wagering, multiply average winnings by the wagering figure to get the extra play needed.
  4. Multiply that extra play by the house edge (100% minus RTP) to get its expected cost, and subtract it.
  5. Apply any maximum-win cap, and check whether the expiry gives you a realistic amount of time.
  6. Add the expected cost of the qualifying stake, which is the £10 stake multiplied by the house edge.

This gives an average, not a prediction: real sessions can return much more or nothing at all. Our guide to how wagering works in casino apps goes further, and the Commission’s guide to free offers and bonuses (opens in a new tab) explains your rights. For offers without wagering, see no wagering casino apps.

Payments and withdrawals in each app

Ladbrokes’ help centre names Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard, with Fast Bank Transfer available for withdrawals. Each deposit is capped at £2,000 and £5 is the published minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank. Three active payment methods are allowed in a rolling 30 days.

Withdrawals pass internal approval first, then take from instantly up to five banking days depending on the method. Visa Fast Funds approval typically takes a couple of hours, then typically up to four hours to reach your bank. Ladbrokes’ Fast Bank Transfer page (opens in a new tab) gives 2–4 business days once approved, with a £5 minimum, and Ladbrokes charges no withdrawal fees.

For William Hill Vegas, only general categories are reported by a third-party article: debit cards, prepaid cards, cash vouchers, e-wallets, mobile methods and online banking. The minimum deposit, withdrawal times and fees weren’t found, so check the cashier before you deposit.

Games: Ladbrokes’ lobby vs the refreshed Vegas app

Ladbrokes’ App Store description promises 1,800+ slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino including game shows, and a third-party review puts the full lobby above 5,700 games. Free-to-play extras include Instant Spins, a daily prize wheel and game show and live roulette contests, with LadBucks to spend on arcade games. Our Ladbrokes live casino app page covers the live side.

No game count is published for the Vegas app. The October 2025 refresh coverage mentions slots, jackpot features, live casino titles and daily free-to-play games, but no studios or exclusives were confirmed. If you’re after a particular slot, such as the Big Bass Splash named in its reported offer, check the app’s game lobby.

Whatever the brand, the maths is the same: RTP is set by the game, not by whether you play in an app. Read more in is RTP the same on mobile.

Support, safer gambling and the evoke connection

Ladbrokes’ support email is support@ladbrokes.com, and a third-party review reports 24/7 live chat and a phone line with unpublished hours. Support channels and safer gambling tools for the Vegas app weren’t found in what could be checked, so they can’t be compared here.

Both apps must meet the same UK rules: a financial limit prompt before the first deposit, time-outs and self-exclusion, GAMSTOP participation and real-time net spend and time shown on casino games. Our Ladbrokes safer gambling tools page covers limits and breaks there. Help is free on the National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, at any hour.

Ownership is worth knowing too. William Hill’s non-US business was bought by 888 Holdings in a deal reported complete in July 2022, and 888 renamed itself evoke plc after its 13 May 2024 AGM. That puts William Hill Vegas in the same group as 888casino, covered in our Coral vs 888casino comparison. Ladbrokes and Coral are both run by LC International Limited for Entain.

Is William Hill Vegas safe? The record £19.2m penalty

William Hill is UK-licensed: the register lists williamhill.com as active under WHG (International) Limited, account 39225, as shown on the WHG (International) Limited register entry (opens in a new tab). The Vegas subdomain isn’t listed separately.

On 28 March 2023, three William Hill group businesses agreed to pay a record £19.2m in total. The failures included customers spending large sums without checks, late or missing interventions, and self-excluded customers being able to gamble, along with anti-money-laundering failings.

At group level, 888 Holdings, now evoke, faced a £9.4m penalty in 2022 over anti-money-laundering and social responsibility failures. Ladbrokes’ operator has its own record, which we cover on our page asking whether Ladbrokes is safe and legit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Ladbrokes Casino app better than William Hill Vegas?

On published facts, yes, though William Hill Vegas may suit existing customers. Ladbrokes’ app listings, cashier, payout times and no-fee policy are all public, and its welcome spins carry no wagering. Its rival has a dedicated app refreshed in October 2025, but its store details, payments and support couldn’t be confirmed, and its reported spins have wagering. See our Ladbrokes Casino app review for the full rating.

Is there a William Hill Vegas app for iPhone and Android?

Third-party sources say yes: a separate William Hill Vegas casino app is reported on both the App Store and Google Play. Its UK listing details, such as the seller, iOS requirement and size, weren’t confirmed. Search the store for the brand, then check the seller names a William Hill or WHG company and the rating is 18+. Our William Hill Vegas iPhone app page explains the checks.

Who owns William Hill Vegas?

The Vegas brand is owned by evoke plc, the company formerly called 888 Holdings. 888 bought William Hill’s non-US business in a deal reported complete in July 2022 and adopted the evoke name after its 13 May 2024 AGM. The UK licence holder for williamhill.com is WHG (International) Limited, account 39225. The same group owns 888casino, as our William Hill Vegas app review explains.

Which has the better welcome offer, Ladbrokes or William Hill Vegas?

Ladbrokes’ is worth more at face value and has no wagering. Its up to 500 spins at 10p total £50 of spins after £10 on slots. The reported William Hill Vegas deal gives 200 spins at 10p, or £20, with 10x wagering on winnings and a £30 maximum win, and needs a code. 18+, terms apply. Our Ladbrokes welcome bonus page sets out every key term.

Why was William Hill fined £19.2m?

It was penalised for social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures. The Commission found customers had spent large sums without checks, interventions were late or missing, and self-excluded customers could still gamble. On 28 March 2023, WHG (International) Limited paid £12.5m, Mr Green Limited £3.7m and William Hill Organization Limited £3m. Our guide on how casino apps are licensed in the UK explains enforcement.

How long do Ladbrokes withdrawals take compared with William Hill Vegas?

Ladbrokes publishes its timings, but William Hill Vegas’ weren’t found. At Ladbrokes, Visa Fast Funds approval typically takes a couple of hours, then the money typically arrives within four hours; Fast Bank Transfer takes 2–4 business days once approved, with no fees. For William Hill Vegas, check the cashier or help pages. Our Ladbrokes withdrawals page lists the steps and rules.

Do I need a promo code for Ladbrokes or William Hill Vegas?

Ladbrokes doesn’t need one, while the reported William Hill Vegas offer does. Ladbrokes’ welcome spins are triggered by depositing and spending £10 or more on slots as a new customer. A third-party article says William Hill Vegas uses a code, but it gives two different codes, so check the operator’s own terms before you deposit. Our guide to how to claim a bonus in a casino app explains the usual steps.

Are the William Hill Vegas free spins wagering-free?

No, according to the third-party article that describes the offer. Winnings from the 200 spins on Big Bass Splash must be wagered 10x on the same game, and the maximum you can win is £30. That’s within the UK’s 10x wagering cap introduced on 19 January 2026. Ladbrokes’ welcome spins, by contrast, have no wagering. Our glossary entry on the wagering cap explains the rule.
