The Casumo slots app is the centre of Casumo's mobile offer: the Android version is even titled 'Casumo - Live Casino & Slots'. You'll find the usual slot formats, Reel Races and a Quick Launch for your last four games, all within UK limits of £5 a spin (£2 if you're 18–24). This page explains the slot types, the rules and how to check any slot's RTP.

Key takeaways

  • Maximum slot stake is £5 per spin, or £2 if you're aged 18–24, under UK rules.
  • Every slot's RTP should be on its help or paytable screen before you play.
  • Spins take at least 2.5 seconds and there's no autoplay or turbo on UK slots.
  • Quick Launch reopens your last four slots; Reel Races add timed competitions.
  • While Casumo's welcome bonus is active, the maximum bet is £5.

What the Casumo slots app offers

Casumo's UK site lists 6,000+ games in total, and slots lead both app listings. The Android app is named 'Casumo - Live Casino & Slots', while the iPhone version, 'Casumo Casino & Sports Betting', puts slots, live casino and the sportsbook in one 52.5 MB download that needs iOS 15.0 or later.

The App Store listing names a few slot-friendly features: Quick Launch for the last four slots you played, Reel Races with real-time updates, a haptic feedback toggle and a home screen widget. It doesn't list studios or give a slot count of its own. For the wider game mix, see Casumo app games, and for the overall verdict the Casumo app review.

Slot types you'll meet in the Casumo slots app

Casumo doesn't publish how its slot catalogue splits by format, so treat this as a guide to what the labels mean rather than a list of what's in stock. Check the lobby's categories or search for a specific title.

Slot stake limits in the Casumo app: £5 and £2

UK law limits how much you can stake on an online slot per game cycle, and the limit depends on your age. Operators must apply the limit that matches your verified age.

UK online slot stake limits
Your ageMaximum stake per spinIn force since
25 and over£59 April 2025
18 to 24£221 May 2025

The limit applies to the whole game cycle, from pressing spin until all winnings are paid, so extra stakes inside a feature count towards it. It covers reel-based slots only; roulette and blackjack aren't included. The Gambling Commission's online slots stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) has the detail, and our page on online slot stake limits in the UK has the history.

There's a second, separate cap if you take Casumo's welcome bonus: while it's active, the most you can bet is £5, whatever your age limit would otherwise allow.

Why Casumo slots spin at a set pace

If you've played slots elsewhere in the world, UK slots can feel slower. That's deliberate: the Commission's design rules aim to stop play becoming too fast and intense.

The rules sit in the Commission's RTS 14 responsible product design standard (opens in a new tab). On bonus buying, since a Gambling Commission warning in January 2020, feature buy-ins are not offered to British players; the Commission's games warning for online operators (opens in a new tab) is the background. How to find a slot's RTP in the Casumo slots app

Return to player (RTP) is the share of all stakes a slot is designed to pay back over a very large number of spins. UK rules require information on the likelihood of winning to be available before you play, so every slot in the app should show it.

  1. Open the slot but don't spin yet.
  2. Tap the menu, 'i' or paytable icon inside the game.
  3. Scroll the rules or game information until you reach the RTP line.
  4. Note whether it's a single figure or a range with features.
  5. Compare it with similar slots before deciding where to spend your budget.

Some studios make the same slot in more than one RTP version, which is why you should read the figure in the game itself rather than relying on a figure you saw elsewhere. Apps don't have lower RTP by default; the help screen tells you which version you're on. Our guide on how to find a game's RTP in an app and the explainer is RTP the same on mobile go further.

What a £20 slot budget buys at 10p, 50p and £1

Here's what RTP means in pounds. The table assumes a slot with 96% RTP, so the house keeps an average of 4p of every £1 staked. The 96% is an example; use the real figure from the game's help screen.

£20 budget on a 96% RTP slot
Stake per spinSpins £20 covers with no winsAverage loss per 100 spinsAverage loss per 500 spins
10p200£0.40£2
50p40£2£10
£120£4£20

The formula is stake × number of spins × 4%. At 10p, 100 spins means £10 staked and an average loss of 40p. At £1, the same 100 spins means £100 staked and an average loss of £4. Wins recycle into further spins, so a session usually lasts longer than the 'no wins' column, but the average cost keeps adding up with every spin.

Volatility: why the average can mislead

Volatility describes how a slot spreads its returns. A low-volatility slot pays small amounts often, so a £20 budget tends to last. A high-volatility slot pays less often but in bigger amounts, so £20 at £1 a spin can run out in a couple of minutes, with the occasional large hit. Neither type changes the RTP. Our volatility explainer has examples.

Reel Races in the Casumo slots app

Reel Races are Casumo's slot competitions, and the App Store listing says the app shows real-time updates while they run. Rules, eligible games and prizes are set per race, so read them in the app before joining.

A race doesn't change a slot's maths: RTP and the house edge are the same whether you're racing or not. If a leaderboard makes you want to spin faster or stake more than usual, that's a cue to step back. Our explainer on what a slot race on Casumo is and the slot race glossary entry cover the format.

Playing Casumo slots comfortably on a phone

  • Use Quick Launch to reopen recent slots without scrolling the lobby.
  • Turn off haptic feedback in the app if vibrations are distracting.
  • Keep the app updated; the iPhone version needs iOS 15.0 or later.
  • Slots usually use far less data than live casino, but large games can take a moment to load on a weak signal.
  • Check whether a slot plays in portrait or landscape before you start; it varies by game.

If you're choosing a device, our page on casino apps on iPhone covers requirements and settings, and Casumo's iPhone app page covers this app specifically.

Using offers on Casumo slots

Casumo's welcome offer is a 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of at least £20, for new customers aged 18+ who opt in. The bonus must be wagered 10x within 7 days, with a £5 maximum bet while it's active, and game, play and payment restrictions apply. The full maths is on our Casumo welcome bonus page.

Slots are where welcome bonuses are normally used, but check which slots count towards wagering and at what rate before you start. The house edge applies to bonus spins just as it does to cash spins. Our list of the best slot apps in the UK compares the partner offers for slot players.

Slot offers from Casumo and Coral Casino

Both offers below are for slot play, which makes them relevant here: Casumo's match bonus first, then Coral Casino's spins for comparison. New customers only, 18+, terms apply.

Casumo: opt in and deposit at least £20 for a 50% bonus up to £100; wager the bonus 10x within 7 days, maximum bet £5 while it's active; game, play and payment restrictions apply. Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum stake on Casumo slots?

The maximum is £5 per spin if you're 25 or over and £2 if you're 18 to 24, under UK rules that apply to every online slot. The cap covers the whole game cycle, including any extra stakes within a feature. While Casumo's welcome bonus is active, a £5 maximum bet also applies. See our page on the slot stake limit on apps for more.

How do I check the RTP of a slot in the Casumo app?

Open the slot, tap its information, menu or paytable icon and scroll to the RTP line before you spin. UK rules require information on the likelihood of winning to be available before you play. Read the figure in the game itself, because some slots come in more than one RTP version. Our answer on how to find the RTP in a casino app has more.

Why is there no autoplay on Casumo slots?

Autoplay has been banned on online slots in Great Britain since 31 October 2021, and on all online casino games since 17 January 2025. Every spin must be started with a separate tap, and each slot spin lasts at least 2.5 seconds. The aim is to slow the pace of play. Our page on why there is no autoplay on UK apps explains the background.

Can I buy bonus features on Casumo slots?

No. Since a Gambling Commission warning in January 2020, feature buy-ins are not offered to British players, so you trigger features through normal spins. That applies to Casumo and every other UK-licensed app. A slot's features and RTP are explained on its help screen. For more on how slot rules shape mobile play, see online game design rules.

Does the Casumo slots app have jackpot games?

Casumo's store listings don't say how many jackpot slots it carries, so check the lobby for a jackpot category or search for a specific game. Each jackpot game's help screen shows its RTP and how the prize is won. Our page on jackpot slots on mobile explains how fixed and progressive jackpots work.

Is RTP lower on the Casumo app than on the website?

Apps don't have lower RTP by default. Some slots are released in more than one RTP version, and the operator chooses which to offer, so always read the figure on the game's help screen in the app you're using. If it's different from what you expected, that's the number that applies. See is RTP lower on casino apps for the full explanation.

What stake should I use on Casumo slots with £20?

Pick a stake that gives you the session length you want: £20 covers 200 spins at 10p, 40 at 50p or 20 at £1 before any wins. On a 96% RTP slot, the average cost is 40p per 100 spins at 10p and £4 per 100 spins at £1. Smaller stakes don't change the odds, but they slow losses. Our low stakes casino games page has more ideas.

What is Quick Launch in the Casumo app?

Quick Launch is a feature named in the Casumo App Store listing that lets you reopen the last four slots you played without searching the lobby. It saves time on a phone screen. It doesn't affect a game's RTP or outcomes, and the UK one-game-at-a-time rule still applies. More app features are covered on our Casumo settings and notifications page.
