Greentube slots on mobile
Greentube slots on mobile are the online versions of Novomatic’s classic games, such as Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe, Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe and Sizzling Hot Deluxe. They use simple 5x3 layouts with 5 or 10 lines, which read well on a phone, but their RTPs sit between about 95.1% and 95.7%. Here’s what that costs and how the games work.
Key takeaways
- Greentube is Novomatic’s online games studio, based in Vienna, with a UK office in Nottingham and Gambling Commission account 41020.
- Its slots are mostly 5x3 classics with 5 or 10 paylines, which suit a small screen.
- RTPs in our database run from 95.1% to 95.66%, so expect to lose roughly £4.30 to £4.90 per £100 staked over time.
- Some games keep a red-or-black gamble option, which is allowed in the UK but adds risk to each win.
- A Greentube group company, Greentube Alderney Limited, agreed to pay £1m in a 2025 Commission settlement.

What is Greentube, and how does it supply UK casino apps?
Greentube is the online gaming arm of Austria’s Novomatic Group. The business began in 1998, took the Greentube name in 2000 and joined Novomatic in 2010. It is headquartered in Vienna and runs a UK office in Nottingham.
Its job is to take Novomatic’s game library, much of it first seen on land-based machines, and deliver it to online casinos. Greentube holds a Gambling Commission licence for remote gambling software (account 41020) and a Malta licence (MGA/CRP/120/2006). It makes more than slots: its catalogue also covers video bingo, video poker, table games and social casino products.
You won’t find a Greentube casino app of its own in the UK stores. Its games appear inside licensed operators’ apps, which handle your account, payments and limits. Our slot providers hub shows how Greentube compares with the other studios in UK apps.
Greentube or Novomatic: whose name is on the game?
Game lobbies and review sites credit these titles in different ways. Some say Novomatic, some say Greentube, and some use both. The games are the same; the difference is only which company name the listing uses. Our Novomatic slots page covers the parent group’s history in Britain.
| Slot | Credited to | Released |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe | Greentube (Novomatic) | Not published |
| Sizzling Hot Deluxe | Novomatic (Greentube) | Not published |
| Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe | Novomatic (Greentube) | 2009 |
| Lord of the Ocean | Novomatic (Greentube) | 2008 |
| Book of Ra Deluxe | Novomatic | 2008 |
If you search an app’s lobby, try both names in the provider filter. The Diamond Link series is also among Greentube’s best-known slots, though we don’t yet hold verified specifications for it.
Greentube slots on mobile: RTP, volatility and paylines
These are the published figures for the Greentube and Novomatic classics in our slot database. Where a maximum win isn’t listed, it isn’t in the specifications we hold.
| Slot | RTP | Volatility | Lines | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sizzling Hot Deluxe | 95.66% | Medium | 5 | 5,000x |
| Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe | 95.13% | Medium to high (sources differ) | 10 | – |
| Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe | 95.13% | High | 10 | – |
| Lord of the Ocean | 95.1% | High | 10 | – |
| Book of Ra Deluxe | 95.1% (94.26% version also exists) | Very high | 10 | 5,000x (figures vary by source) |
Every title here uses five reels and three rows. That small, fixed layout is the main reason these games are easy to follow on a phone, and it also explains their character: with only 5 or 10 lines, a spin either hits a line or it doesn’t, so wins come in fewer, chunkier pieces than on a game with hundreds of ways.
How Greentube’s Deluxe features work
The Deluxe games share a short list of ideas, so learning one helps with the rest. Our free spins glossary entry explains the general term.
Wilds that double the win
In Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe the Lucky Lady wild stands in for every paying symbol and doubles any line it completes. Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe uses the same rule with a dolphin. A line finished by a wild therefore pays twice its paytable value.
Free games with tripled wins
In both games, three or more scatters anywhere start 15 free games in which every win is multiplied by three. Landing three more scatters during the round adds another 15 games.
An expanding symbol
Lord of the Ocean and Book of Ra Deluxe work differently. One symbol acts as both wild and scatter, and three or more start 10 free games. Before they begin, a random symbol is chosen to expand: when enough of it lands, it fills whole reels and pays on all lines, even on reels that aren’t next to each other.
No features at all
Sizzling Hot Deluxe strips everything back. It has five fixed lines, no wild and no free spins, and only the Star scatter pays in any position. Every return comes from the base game.
What a 95% RTP costs on Greentube slots
RTP, or return to player, is the share of all money staked that a game pays back over a very long run. The rest is the house edge. Expected loss is simply stake × (100% − RTP), so the gap between 95% and 96.5% is easy to put in pounds.
| Slot or benchmark | RTP | Loss per £100 | Loss per hour at 20p (1,440 spins) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sizzling Hot Deluxe | 95.66% | £4.34 | £12.50 |
| Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe | 95.13% | £4.87 | £14.03 |
| Lord of the Ocean | 95.1% | £4.90 | £14.11 |
| Book of Ra Deluxe (lower version) | 94.26% | £5.74 | £16.53 |
| A typical 96.5% modern slot | 96.5% | £3.50 | £10.08 |
The hourly column uses 1,440 spins, the most possible at the UK minimum of 2.5 seconds a spin, so £288 staked. Real sessions are slower. Even so, picking a 96.5% game over a 95.1% one cuts the expected cost of an hour at 20p by about £4. If return matters most to you, our high RTP slot apps page is a better starting point than the Greentube catalogue.
The red-or-black gamble button on Greentube slots
Sizzling Hot Deluxe lets you gamble a win by guessing whether a hidden card is red or black. Get it right and the win grows; get it wrong and you lose it. Gamble features are not banned in Britain, so you may still see this option in a UK app.
It is always optional. Collecting a win keeps it, while gambling it puts money you have already won back at risk on a single guess. If you want to keep sessions predictable, simply take every win as it comes.
UK game design rules stop slots from celebrating a return that is equal to or lower than your stake. You won’t get fanfare for a 10p return on a 10p spin, which makes it easier to see what you have really won or lost.
Why Greentube slots suit a small phone screen
A 5x3 grid shows just 15 symbols, so each one is large enough to read on a compact phone. Lines are easy to trace, and paytables are short. That contrasts with cluster and Megaways games, where dozens of symbols share the same space.
- Simple paytables: with 5 or 10 lines and a handful of symbols, the help screen fits on one or two pages.
- Fewer animations: classic games have less going on between spins, which can mean shorter load times on a weaker connection.
- Stake buttons matter: on a small screen, check your stake before each session, because the coin and line settings can sit close together.
- Older phones: the casino app’s store listing, not Greentube, sets the minimum iOS or Android version. See our Android phones guide.
Playing Greentube slots on mobile: a step-by-step checklist
This checklist works in most licensed UK casino apps. Filter and menu names vary, so look for the closest match.
- Install a UK-licensed casino app from the App Store or Google Play and complete age and identity verification.
- Answer the prompt to set a financial limit before your first deposit; our deposit limits guide explains the options.
- Search the slots lobby for a title such as Lucky Lady’s Charm, or filter by Greentube or Novomatic.
- Open the game’s help screen and check the RTP, because some titles exist in more than one version.
- Set your stake, remembering the £5 limit if you’re 25 or over and £2 if you’re 18 to 24.
- Decide before you start whether you will use the gamble option, and stick to it.
If a game is missing, that operator probably doesn’t carry it. Our slots on mobile guide explains the main slot formats you’ll meet instead.
UK rules that shape Greentube slots in apps
Greentube’s games follow the same British rules as every online slot. The Commission’s responsible product design standard (opens in a new tab) holds the game design rules, and the online slots stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) sets the maximum spin.
| Date | Rule |
|---|---|
| January 2020 | Commission warning; feature buy-ins are not offered to British players since |
| 14 April 2020 | Credit cards can’t be used to gamble |
| 31 October 2021 | No autoplay, no turbo or slam-stop, at least 2.5 seconds per spin |
| 17 January 2025 | Only one game at a time; real-time display of net spend and time played |
| 9 April 2025 | £5 maximum slot stake for players aged 25 and over |
| 21 May 2025 | £2 maximum slot stake for players aged 18 to 24 |
| 31 October 2025 | Prompt to set a financial limit before the first deposit |
Our game design rules page explains each change in more detail.
Greentube’s UK regulatory record
In January 2025, Greentube Alderney Limited agreed to pay £1m for regulatory failures (opens in a new tab), according to the Gambling Commission. The settlement concerned anti-money laundering and social responsibility failures at Admiral Casino, the consumer brand that company ran.
That company is a separate licence holder (Commission account 39050) from the software business that supplies games under account 41020. The case is about how a casino treated its customers, not about how the Greentube slots themselves work, but it is part of the group’s record in Britain.
Other studios with classic-style slots
If you like short paytables and simple lines, Barcrest built many of the UK’s best-known fruit-machine-style games, and IGT carries a long list of land-based conversions. Both pages list RTPs so you can compare them with Greentube’s 95% range.
Alternatives to Greentube games with a welcome offer
We have no offer linked to Greentube, and none of these offers is for its games. Each one is a slot offer on selected titles, which is a way to try a partner app rather than a discount on Lucky Lady’s Charm. 18+ and terms apply.
- PlayOJO: 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, each worth 10p, with your first deposit of at least £10. There is no wagering, so winnings are paid in cash. Open to new UK customers outside Northern Ireland, through the designated offer link only, and not combinable with other offers.
- Coral Casino: bet £10 or more on slots after depositing to get 100 free spins at 10p each on selected games, accepted within 48 hours and valid for 7 days. No wagering applies to free spin winnings. Paying in by Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid card or certain debit cards rules you out. Live from 1 October 2026 until 1 February 2027.
- Ladbrokes Casino: deposit and spend £10 or more on slots for 50 free spins a day over your first 10 days, up to 500, at 10p each. Claim them before 23:59 each day and use them within 7 days; no wagering. If you deposit by prepaid card, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill or Moneybookers, the spins won’t apply.
Because LC International Limited operates both Coral and Ladbrokes, you may be limited to a new account with only one of them. With or without spins, the house edge means you should expect to lose over time.

Frequently asked questions
Is Greentube the same as Novomatic?
Greentube is part of Novomatic, not a separate rival. It joined the Novomatic Group in 2010 and acts as the group’s online studio, bringing Novomatic’s games to internet casinos. That’s why lobbies credit titles like Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe to Greentube, Novomatic or both. Greentube is based in Vienna and has a UK office in Nottingham. Our Novomatic slots page covers the parent group in more detail.
Can I play Greentube slots on my phone?
Yes, Greentube slots work on phones through licensed UK casino apps and mobile sites that carry them. You need an account with the operator, and you must pass age and identity checks first, even for demo play. The simple 5x3 layouts are easy to read on a small screen. Check the game lobby for titles, and see our slot providers hub for other studios you might find there.
What is the RTP of Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe?
Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe has a published RTP of 95.13%. That means an expected long-run loss of about £4.87 for every £100 staked, though any one session can land well above or below that. The game uses 10 lines, a wild that doubles wins and 15 free games with tripled wins. Read our Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe review for the full feature breakdown.
Why do Greentube slots have lower RTPs?
Greentube’s classics carry published RTPs of about 95.1% to 95.7%, below many modern online slots, and the studio doesn’t publish a reason. A lower RTP means a bigger house edge: 95.1% costs about £1.40 more per £100 staked than a 96.5% game. If return is your priority, compare figures before you play. Our best RTP slot question explains how.
Is the gamble feature allowed on UK slot apps?
Yes, gamble features are allowed in UK slot apps. Games such as Sizzling Hot Deluxe can still offer a red-or-black card guess after a win. It is optional: guessing right grows the win, while guessing wrong loses it. Autoplay, turbo spins and feature buy-ins are the things UK players won’t see. Our game design rules page sets out what changed and when.
Has Greentube been fined in the UK?
A Greentube group company has. In January 2025 the Gambling Commission announced that Greentube Alderney Limited would pay £1m for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failures at Admiral Casino. That company holds a different Commission account (39050) from the Greentube software business (41020), and the case concerned casino operations rather than game design. Our Novomatic page puts this in the context of the wider group.
What is Greentube’s most famous slot?
Book of Ra Deluxe is among the best-known titles linked with Greentube, alongside Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe, Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe and the Diamond Link series. Book of Ra Deluxe was released in 2008, uses 10 lines and has a very high volatility rating. It’s credited to Novomatic in our specifications, with a 95.1% RTP and a 94.26% version. See our Book of Ra Deluxe review.
Do Greentube slots have free spins?
Most of them do, but Sizzling Hot Deluxe doesn’t. Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe and Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe give 15 free games with tripled wins from three or more scatters, while Lord of the Ocean gives 10 free games with an expanding symbol. Sizzling Hot Deluxe has no wild and no bonus round at all. Our Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe review shows how its round retriggers.
