Infinite Blackjack on mobile

Infinite Blackjack on mobile is Evolution's live blackjack table with no seat limit: everyone gets the same first two cards, then makes their own decisions. You never wait for a seat, and Wizard of Odds puts the house edge at 0.45% with basic strategy. Here's how the shared hand works, what side bets cost and how to play it well on a phone.

Key takeaways

  • Infinite Blackjack has unlimited seats; every player starts with the same two cards and then plays their own hand.
  • Wizard of Odds lists it as an eight-deck game where the dealer stands on soft 17, with a Six Card Charlie rule and a 0.45% house edge.
  • At £5 a hand, 0.45% works out at about £2.25 expected loss per 100 hands, if you follow basic strategy.
  • The four side bets (Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3, Bust It) cost far more: 21+3 is 3.70% and Bust It 6.18% on the paytables Wizard of Odds analysed.
  • No seat queue means no natural pause, so set a deposit limit and reality check before you start.

Infinite Blackjack on mobile: one hand, unlimited players

Classic live blackjack has seven seats. When they're full, you either wait or bet behind someone else's hand. Evolution built Infinite Blackjack to remove that queue: any number of players can join the same round, and all of them are dealt the same initial two-card hand.

After that common start, each player decides independently whether to hit, stand, double or split. So two people at the same table can finish the round with different hands and different results. The dealer's hand is shared by everyone.

For a phone player, that design has practical upsides. There's always room at the table, so you can open the app and play straight away. You also get a full say over your hand, unlike bet behind. It's one of several Evolution tables in our live casino apps section, and it sits alongside the classic seated game covered in live blackjack on mobile.

How the shared Infinite Blackjack hand works

A round runs like this. The exact screens differ between apps, but the order of play is the same.

  1. Place your main bet, plus any side bets, while the betting timer runs.
  2. Betting closes. The dealer deals the common two-card starting hand that every player shares, plus the dealer's own cards.
  3. Side bets that depend on the first cards, such as Any Pair or 21+3, are settled.
  4. Your decision timer starts. Choose hit, stand, double or split for your own hand; other players' choices don't affect yours.
  5. If you don't decide before the timer ends, the round carries on without your input, so check the help screen to see what the game does with your hand.
  6. Once all decisions are in, the dealer completes their hand and every player's bet is settled against it.

Because everyone starts with identical cards, you'll often see a crowd making different choices with the same hand. That's a good reminder to follow a strategy rather than copy the chat.

Infinite Blackjack rules and the Six Card Charlie

Evolution's public game page lists the Six Card Charlie rule and the four side bets but not every table rule. Wizard of Odds fills in the gaps in its survey of live dealer blackjack. Confirm them in the game's help screen, as operators can run different versions.

The Six Card Charlie helps you a little. By Wizard of Odds' reckoning the rule is worth about 0.16% to the player, compared with a game without it. It's not something to aim for, since drawing to six cards usually means hitting totals you'd normally stand on, but when it happens your hand wins automatically.

Infinite Blackjack house edge in pounds

Wizard of Odds' live dealer blackjack listing (opens in a new tab) gives Evolution's Infinite Blackjack a house edge of 0.45%, assuming basic strategy. That's among the lowest of any live casino game, but it only applies if you play each hand correctly. Mistakes add to it.

Measuring per 100 hands keeps the arithmetic simple, because the number of hands you play in an hour depends on the table's pace and how often you sit out.

Expected loss per 100 hands at a 0.45% house edge
Stake per handTotal staked over 100 handsExpected loss
£1£10045p
£5£500£2.25
£10£1,000£4.50
£25£2,500£11.25

Doubles and splits add extra money to some hands, so your total staked will be a little higher than the base bet suggests. The edge still applies to every pound on the table. And remember this is a long-run average: in a short session you could finish well up or well down. Our house edge on mobile blackjack answer puts the figure in context.

Basic strategy for Infinite Blackjack on a phone

Basic strategy is the set of plays that lose least over time for each hand against each dealer card. It reduces the house edge; it doesn't remove it. The plays below come from Wizard of Odds' strategy for four to eight decks where the dealer stands on soft 17. Evolution doesn't publish Infinite Blackjack's peek rule, and the Six Card Charlie can shift a few borderline plays, so check whether the help screen offers its own strategy notes.

Key basic strategy plays (4–8 decks, dealer stands on soft 17)
Your handPlay
Hard 17 or moreAlways stand
Hard 11 or lessHit, unless a double is shown below
Hard 11Double, except against a dealer ace
Hard 9Double against a dealer 3 to 6
Hard 12Stand against 4 to 6; hit against 2 or 3
Hard 13 to 16Stand against 2 to 6; otherwise hit
Soft 18 (A,7)Stand against 2, 7 or 8; double against 3 to 6; hit against 9, 10 or ace
PairsAlways split aces and 8s; never split 5s or 10s
InsuranceNever take it

A strategy card is easier to follow on a phone than in a casino, because you can keep it open in another app. Just don't let checking it make you miss the decision timer. Our blackjack strategy on mobile guide covers the full chart and how to use it on a small screen.

Infinite Blackjack side bets: Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It

The four side bets are optional and settle separately from your main hand. They pay much more when they land, which is exactly why they cost more on average.

Infinite Blackjack side bets: what they pay on and what they cost
Side betWins whenHouse edge
Any PairYour first two cards are a pairNot published by Evolution; check the help screen
21+3Your two cards plus the dealer's up card make a poker hand3.70% on the 100/40/30/10/5 paytable, eight decks (Wizard of Odds)
Hot 3Based on your two cards and the dealer's up card; see the in-game paytableNot published by Evolution; check the help screen
Bust ItThe dealer busts; pays more the more cards it took6.18% on the 250/100/50/9/2/1 paytable, eight decks (Wizard of Odds)

Put a figure on it. A £5 side bet on every hand for 100 hands is £500 staked. At 3.70% that's an expected £18.50 loss on 21+3 alone, and at 6.18% about £30.90 on Bust It, compared with £2.25 on the main game at the same stake. Read side bets explained for how paytables change the maths, and see Wizard of Odds' 21+3 analysis (opens in a new tab) for the full paytable comparison.

Infinite Blackjack vs seated live blackjack

Infinite isn't the only blackjack format in a live lobby. Evolution also runs seven-seat tables with bet behind, and several other Infinite-style games. Here's how they compare for a mobile player.

Infinite Blackjack compared with other live blackjack formats
FormatSeatsYour decisionsNotable rule
Infinite BlackjackUnlimitedAll your ownCommon starting hand, Six Card Charlie
Seven-seat live blackjackSevenOnly if seated; bet behind follows another playerEach seat has its own cards

Power BlackjackUnlimitedAll your own9s and 10s removed; double, triple or quadruple down
Lightning BlackjackUnlimitedAll your own100% fee per initial bet for a 2x–25x multiplier on wins

If you want the cheapest format to play by the numbers, Infinite's 0.45% is hard to beat in the live lobby. The variants trade a higher edge for extra features: see our pages on Free Bet Blackjack and Lightning Blackjack for the details.

Infinite Blackjack apps for iPhone, iPad and Android

Infinite Blackjack plays inside casino apps rather than as an app of its own. None of our partners' store listings names the game, but each confirms live casino, so check the lobby. Device support is where the three apps differ most.

An older iPhone that can't run iOS 18 won't install Coral's app, though Casumo's iOS 15 requirement is far less demanding. Lobby details are on the Casumo live casino, 10bet live casino and Coral live casino pages.

Playing Infinite Blackjack on a small screen

  • Watch the decision timer. With many players at once, the table moves on when time runs out. The help screen explains what happens to an undecided hand.
  • Use a stable connection. If your stream freezes mid-hand, the game's rules say what happens to your decision. Read how casino apps handle disconnections before playing on the move.
  • Keep side bets switched off by default unless you've chosen to play them. A remembered side bet on re-bet adds up fast.
  • Mind the data. Live video runs continuously; our live casino data usage page explains what affects it.

Chat is usually available, and the dealer can reply out loud. It's a friendly feature, but strategy tips from other players aren't reliable; your chart is.

Infinite Blackjack myths and staying in control

Card counting. Edward Thorp popularised card counting in his 1962 book, and it remains a piece of blackjack history rather than a mobile strategy. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, and live tables generally use shuffling methods that defeat it. Basic strategy is the only legitimate way to reduce the edge, and it never turns it in your favour.

Following the crowd. Since everyone has the same starting cards, it's easy to assume the popular choice is right. It often isn't. Play the hand on its merits.

Always-open tables. Infinite Blackjack has no queue, so there's no built-in break. Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, turn on reality checks, and step away when you reach your budget. Our reality checks page explains how they work, and the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, 24/7.

Infinite Blackjack apps with a welcome offer

Frequently asked questions

How does Infinite Blackjack work?

Infinite Blackjack gives every player at the table the same first two cards, then lets each person make their own decisions. There's no seat limit, so you never wait to join. After the common start, your hits, stands, doubles and splits are independent, and your result is settled against the shared dealer hand. Evolution adds a Six Card Charlie rule and four optional side bets. Our live blackjack on mobile guide compares it with seated tables.

What is the house edge on Infinite Blackjack?

Evolution's Infinite Blackjack is listed by Wizard of Odds at a 0.45% house edge, based on eight decks, the dealer standing on soft 17 and the Six Card Charlie rule, with basic strategy. At £5 a hand that's about £2.25 expected loss per 100 hands. Playing hands incorrectly raises the cost, and side bets carry much higher edges. Check the game's help screen for the RTP your operator shows. See blackjack strategy on mobile for the plays that keep the edge low.

Can I play Infinite Blackjack on my phone?

Yes, Infinite Blackjack streams to UK casino apps and mobile sites that carry Evolution's live games. Search the live lobby for it, as listings vary by operator. Because there's no seat limit, you can join a round whenever you open the app. A stable connection is the main requirement, since it's live video. Our can I play live casino on my phone? answer covers device and connection basics.

What does Six Card Charlie mean in Infinite Blackjack?

Six Card Charlie means a hand that reaches six cards without going over 21 wins automatically, whatever the dealer has. Wizard of Odds values the rule at about 0.16% to the player compared with the same game without it. It doesn't happen often, because getting to six cards normally means hitting small totals repeatedly. It's a small bonus built into the rules rather than something worth playing for. Our glossary explains other blackjack terms.

Are Infinite Blackjack side bets worth it?

On the numbers, side bets cost much more than the main game. Evolution's 21+3 paytable (100/40/30/10/5) has a 3.70% house edge with eight decks, and the Bust It paytable 6.18%, according to Wizard of Odds, against 0.45% for the main hand. Any Pair and Hot 3 edges aren't published by Evolution, so check the help screen. If you enjoy them, keep the stake small. Our side bet entry explains how paytables change the cost.

Is Infinite Blackjack better than normal live blackjack?

It depends what you value. Infinite Blackjack never makes you wait for a seat and lets you make every decision yourself, and its 0.45% house edge (Wizard of Odds) is low for a live game. Seven-seat tables offer a smaller group and individual cards per seat, but you may have to bet behind when they're full. Rules vary by table, so compare help screens. Our best blackjack apps list looks at which apps have strong live blackjack lobbies.

Can I count cards at Infinite Blackjack?

Card counting is a theory from blackjack history, popularised by Edward Thorp's 1962 book, and it isn't a practical approach in apps. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, and live tables generally use shuffling methods that defeat it. Basic strategy is the legitimate way to keep the house edge low, but no method gives you an advantage. Our blackjack app guide explains how the maths works on mobile.

Can I use a welcome bonus on Infinite Blackjack?

Usually not. The welcome offers we list from Casumo, 10bet and Coral are slot offers, and live blackjack is commonly excluded or contributes less to wagering. Playing excluded games with a bonus can lead to it being removed. Read the terms before you opt in. The answer to can I use a bonus on live casino in the app? explains the usual restrictions. 18+, terms apply.
